My husband an I wanted to get away for a quiet night away from kids yet close to home. This room was filthy dirty, shower was backing up and TV didn’t work, we left after an hour of being there and our whole night was ruined. I tried to talk to front desk and no one was available, I called to talk to manager and have not gotten a call back.

The O'Hare airport is so close to the hotel and yo can hear the airplanes inside the room. The hotel is a 20 minutes walking to the convention center.

You get what you pay for. We usually stay in mid priced hotels but took our daughter to Chicago and stayed here because planes go right over the hotel and she loves that. The good; its cheaper and close to O'Hare. The bad; it felt dirty and didnt smell great. The bathroom wasnt completely clean with there being some black things in the tub from the previous occupants. No noticeable bugs or anything like that. The planes going over the hotel is loud so keep that in mind if you dont like that.

Wasn't what I expected probably won't be going back

The floor was gross-our feet/socks were very dirty after walking around it. There was also an odd smell when we opened the door, so we sprayed some mist to cover the smell (which kind of worked) and then we left and came back later and the smell had come back. That all being said, the bed, sink, bathroom, and table were all very clean and organized so it wasn't horrible but yeah the smell and dirty floor was not great.

Absolutely worst experience ever. Tvs didnt work, no lightbulb in bathroom, smoke detector needed battery and kept beeping, room stunk, cockroaches everywhere. Office staff said we could not get a refund because we booked through 3rd party and they could not offer us another room. Maintenance office locked so we could not even get a bulb for bathroom light. Ruined the whole weekend

We got the hotel at 9 pm fall sleep at 3:00 am we got wake up because a lot of rash so we turn on the light what we found were a bunch of bed bugs so I went to the front desk she goes like she was giving us another room and then she goes like I can't refund you at this time because I m not the manager anyway they never did the refund

Probably worst motel I’ve ever stayed in. What appalls me the most is that only double rooms have fridges and microwaves. The bathrooms were dirty and I also noticed some mold.

I love this hotel. Every time I stay they don’t never disappoint me very friendly staff & keeping it clean is their best interest. Area is very quite besides being by the airport and airplanes always noisy it’s a calm and good area to stay. I love the staff & their friendliness & respect they give. Definitely recommend this to any one :)

TV service not working, informed when I went to ask at front desk and employee pointed a disclaimer written and posted on front desk glass partition. Only one power outlet worked in room.

My stay was good. Room was clean although it did have a strong smell every time I walked in but I’ve smelled worse, could be better though. I didn’t mind the location but if you’re a light sleeper, you’ll be woken up by the planes flying overhead. Other than that, I have no complaints.

A check in early fee 20 dollars a refundable 50 dollar deposit room wasn't swept spider webs on all of the windows and the room smelled bad i'll stick to getting a hotel next time

A fine place to stay if you need a bed for a cheap price. There were some big dark stains on the curtains, the shower head leaked so the wall was bubbling, and the shelves for the towels hadnt been wiped down in a while. But the bed was clean, we had hot water, and it wasn't loud at night with voices or music. We couldn't tell we were right by the airport.

House keeping walked in while I was sleeping with my kids and then when I said something the lady at the front desk gave an attitude and stated that she was going to make sure to not extend my stay any longer and I told her well u can’t do that because I already paid my stay and she said oh well I’ll let them know after this u can longer stay here I spent a lot of money here to be treated like this last time I checked I did nothing wrong to this lady to be treated this way

We stepped into the room and killed 2 baby roaches. Shower head was so dirty hardly any water cam out. They would let us chance rooms or get money back. First night didn't sleep and left late second night instead of staying there.

Its a reasonable price room clean and convenient

1000s airplanes taking off and landing on motel roof - don’t book

First 2 rooms offered smelled of urine terribly. The third room was a bit better but as time went one the smell of urine came back. Many animals are seen urinating on property and should be kept separate. This used to be my hotel of choice but not anymore. TERRIBLE!! LEFT AT 5AM

Renovation from 11am to 7 pm of grinding and hammering all day long. No water for the last night of the stay. No offer of a discount or anything. Pure hell to stay here

Rooms are very outdated

One of the things was that the TV wasn't working. The stay wasn't that bad just felt somewhat unsafe.

The room had black mold

It was clean and convenient for our needs. I just thought it was weird that I had to provide my daughter's ID as well as my own upon check-in.

The room is in bad shape--the light switch didn't turn on the light. The plug near the bed was too loose, wouldn't hold my phone charger. Bathroom plug didn't work too well either. Only one plug in the entire room functioned well. Clearly the room had clearly flooded at some point and the pressed-wood furniture had been compromised; now the sawdust is disintegrating onto the floor. The mattress is hard. But it's cheap, which was my main requirement. It was clean enough, the bed was not great but OK, the shower worked well enough to get clean. The TV worked. I wouldn't recommend it unless a cheap basic hotel with ZERO frills is all you want. The whole experience was a bit rough.

I wish they had hangars. It was confusing about the hangars as it was an updated room and I wasn’t made aware to bring my own. Usually at Motel 6’s they have their own specialized ones. I also checked out a night early and they said it would make no difference in price.
