It’s Motel 6 so you don’t expect much but it was very cute and retro looking. Small but good. So close to the beach! You can’t beat that!

Hidden gem close to the beach that makes a trip to Santa Barbara really affordable. Newly renovated with post modern decor that’s fun and quirky (retro turquoise mini fridge). Small but clean and serviceable pool, deck and lounging area. Hot coffee in lobby each morning. Minimally staffed so you need some patience at check in/ out but they are kind and helpful to guests.

Really enjoyed my stay. It was clean and newly renovated. Normally I avoid motels, but this one was great and I’ll stay there again.

Check in experience was not good. Staff at the check in desk were quite unhelpful and seemed very high. After fighting for the upgrade we were promised a month prior, we were eventually given an upgrade that was comped because our room was not ready at check in time…took an extra hour to check in so we had to leave and come back twice. Our room was somewhat clean and had a few amenities, but it’s a motel 6 so we weren’t expecting luxury. Great location just a short walk from the beach and a short bike ride to the beach…CAUTION if you rent bikes ensure you bring them inside your room overnight as someone tried very hard to steal our rentals. We will not be staying here again

We arrived late and our rooms weren’t thoroughly cleaned. We had to go to another location. The staff surveyed the rooms and gave us our refund. The staff was friendly from beginning to the end.

Tiny, Tiny rooms, you sleep next to the AC.

Thwre was no elevator, so I had to carry our stroller up and down the stairs everytime we left or arrived. If I was by myself, I literally wouldnt have been able to. We planned our day around checking in at 3pm, and with 2 kids who needed naps, we were banking on this. Took 40 extra minutes with no where to go. The staff at the front desk was lovely!

Great location and a short walk to East beach. Staff were very helpful with directions and recommendations.

Updated hotel. Good for an overnight stay, anything longer would recommend a better hotel.

Parking is tight, and no EV charging stations anywhere in vicinity - had to plug in 3 miles away and Lyft until I had a full charge. Walls still are paper thin and so you hear everything. Especially car alarms.

Excellent stay! It was close to the beach (short walking distance), pet friendly, renovated rooms (with a retro vibe) and the staff was very attentive. Will definitely be staying here again.
