Great stay! Quaint on the outside, modern inside.

On the main street of town, Ocean Ave. Rooms were very comfortable. Convenient parking close to your hotel room door. Hot breakfast with Espresso machine. Would definitely come back.

We are going to stay here again when we go back to Carmel. The location is perfect but parking can be challenging. The room was large and the surroundings quiet.

Sheets were teared up, disgusting toilet/shower, all the noises coming through

Room was great! Excellent location. However, it’s not very quiet. You can hear everyone coming and going and conversations.

Room very clean and close to shops & restaurants but room is either extremely hot or extremely cold. No auto management of temperature. Did not sleep well. Modernize your system and you will have more stars.

Nice place in great location. Hotel is old but has been refurbished. Rooms are small and the only negative is you can hear your neighbors, like shower water running, walking by, etc. The night I spent was pretty quiet after 10 pm. Price was good.

The grounds could use some love but the rooms were upgraded and clean and very comfortable. My room offered what I needed but it would have been nice to have a shower cap for the bathroom. Most hotels in the area open their breakfast early for the guests who are running the marathon (all the hotels raise their rates for this weekend and most hotels book out). They asked what time they would have to open up that morning and it seemed like it was too inconvenient to do so. There is room for improvement, but I would still book here again.

Great stay, and convenient to the town. Nice front desk and decent breakfast.

Room is clean, the bed is nice, we have a tiny fridge so they have must comply my request when i booked to have a fridge. No microwave though and it has been a new trend i’m guessing, hotels don’t equip their rooms with such.

The hotel was easy to get to, we could walk to all shopping and dining (not to the beach/ocean) and it provides parking. The manager was friendly and rooms were remodeled and clean. Other than included breakfast which is nice, not much amenities but for the price it was a great place to stay!

Great stay, this hotel is so walkable to everything in Carmel. Room was comfortable, bed was cozy. Enjoyed the latte machine but breakfast was limited.

Overall, very satisfied. Not excellent though because the room we were in is too noisy. We are at the corner room but the side rooms I believe is the storage/ laundry room/ generator room. Anyhow, the machines are are loud and noisy. We also heard heavy steps because we are near/ under the stairs. Maybe if we are in different room location it would be better.

This is an adorable property that is in perfect walking distance to all the cute shops, art galleries, and restaurants in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Beds are very comfortable, bathrooms have been beautifully updated, and it’s very quiet at night.

I liked this hotel because of its warmy feel.

Recently renovated and very clean, comfortable bed and soft sheets, good breakfast including fresh coffee, close to everything, and good customer service.

Great job and clean

Nice location near Carmel shopping area. 20 minute walk to beach, but very close in general. Check in was easy, room was clean.

Cannot have a restful night's sleep when other guests leave the bathroom light and fan on all night. Walls are thin and the low humming noise from the fan reverberates throughout the complex.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. It is in a PERFECT location. Market/deli with the best tri tip sandwich, outdoor plaza all within 3 minutes walking. Beach was 10 minute walk. Property is clean and quaint. Beds were not comfortable...way too hard. That was the only negative.
