Amazing!

This is really a special and unique place. I can’t find words to describe how beautiful this property is! It is obvious from pictures that views are breathtaking etc. but I want to specially mention that hospitality, attention to detail is exceptional and staff deserves particular credit - everyone I have interacted with was super nice and went above and beyond to provide the best possible service; this really sets the hotel apart. Thank you very much.

Our experience at Caruso was truly magical from the moment we set foot outside its doors. The porter was quick to greet us and all the staff were friendly, warm and welcoming. The check in process was smooth and easy with an orientation tour of the hotel provided which was incredibly helpful. The views from across the hotel of the coast were breath-taking; something we enjoyed at breakfast, by the pool and most importantly from the comfort of our room. The rooms were spotless and incredibly spacious - even its double rooms which is what we stayed in. The bed was comfortable and pillows perfect - they even had a pillow menu that allowed you to choose one of your liking to ensure a good nights sleep. Everything you could possibly need was provided in the room including a bag which you could use to put your things in to take to the pool. The gardens were beautiful and tranquil space; pruned to perfection. The pool simply serene. The staff at the pool were friendly and attentive getting your towels and preparing the sun loungers promptly. Breakfast was a smoothly run service with a range of options available from the buffet and the menu. The food was so good, I wish we had stayed long enough to be able to try them all. The staff were attentive and extremely helpful. The staff were truly an asset to the hotel! A standard of service in hospitality that was truly exceptional and unrivalled. An experience we shall never forget. Looking forward to our next stay.

My stay in Ravello is one of the best experiences I have ever had. The hotel and service are out of my expectations. All the staffs are very welcoming. We were upgraded to sea view room, which is amazing. The view from Ravello is very different from Amalfi/Positano. It is very peaceful and relaxing. The infinity pool is a must visit spot of the hotel. We love the in room breakfast a lot, with a wide range of food choice. Given that the transportation in Amalfi Coast is busy, really appreciate the hotel shuttle service. 100/100 of our stay ! Definitely will come back

This hotel is so good that I didn’t want to leave a review because I want to keep it secret but honestly the staff and service were so kind and helpful and I have never been to a better pool. We had to leave early because my girl wasn’t feeling well and the staff was so helpful they even called us the next day to see how she was feeling. You can’t find this type of service in Europe it’s the best. Can’t wait to go back

The driver arranged by the hotel from airport was extremely courteous and well spoken. Our room was upgraded from a junior suite to suite (or something like that) but it smelled rather dank maybe because it was raining. The walls had cracks and brown marks which stood out because they were white. We purchased a room spray from the gift shop which helped but odor was throughout hotel. The worst part was the breakfast which was a buffet, but the attendant insisted on serving fruit, etc. and did not speak English. She gave me one piece of each of the four fruits after I asked for more than one piece because I don’t eat eggs, etc. I typically just want fruit. The pieces were 1-2 inches long. What a joke.

Absolutely loved my stay at Caruso Belmond! Staff were amazing throughout the visit and were extremely attentive, friendly and happy to help. The landscape at the hotel are gorgeous. Location is perfect in Amalfi if you’re looking for a quieter vibe (compared to Positano for example). I got a free room upgrade upon check in, which was very appreciated. The room itself was great, bedding was very comfortable! Their drink, wine and food menus were all really good too. I honestly cannot think of any flaws with this property. They’ve exceeded all of my expectations and definitely worth the premium pricing!

Our stay here was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. The staff was extremely attentive and the property (and the amazing infinity pool) was stunning. It is hard to put our experience here into words- the only downside was that we had to leave. We cannot wait to go back someday.

Wonderful. We LOVE Belmond Hotels. They very kindly upgraded our rooms to Executive Jnr Suites. Food was wonderful and the service superb. The pool overlooking the Amalfi coast is exceptional. Cant speak highly enough about our stay. There is 5stars, then there's Belmond.

Clean and luxury place with friendly staff and great amenities. Worth the price.

In an area with spectacular hotels, the Belmond Caruso may be the best. Incredible property, insane views, and impeccable service. A 5 star experience from start to finish. Two perks to mention: a complimentary boat ride along the coast and a complimentary shuttle to Positano and Amalfi. You would be hard pressed to find many better hotels in the world!

Belmond was also more convenient than other hotels bc the car service dropped us right at the front door vs other hotels having to walk up hill for 15 min (like Villa Cimbrone but also another beautiful property). Also easy to get to the town square for dining and shopping.

We chose Belmond Caruso after a very long and detailed analysis of the hotels in the area. The other hotels we were comparing it with are Palazzo Avino, Monastero Santa Rosa and Villa Cimbrone. Belmond was consistently rated above Monastero Santa Rosa and indeed we found has a much more practical location: It is in the middle of Ravello so you can literally step outside and be in shops or restaurants within minutes. The second key factor is that this hotel has the most beautiful pool and pool view in the area. Palazzo Avino which is next door as a very poor pool situation in comparison. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Amalfi which is very practical as Amalfi is the closest ferry station so is how one would go to Capri or Positano before or after this stay. Amalfi also has two michelin starred restaurants. The hotel also offers a daily boat trip on the coast which lasts 2h: we enjoyed this and were able to go swimming. The captain showed us all the key highlights of the coast so this was a great tour. The breakfast is served in the restaurants or room without additional charge which is not common. This is the best breakfast we have had in our lives, and you can order basically anything. The restaurant of the hotel is a fine dining option for dinner, and definitely delicious. The lunch option by the pool has organic healthy salads and incredible pizzas.The Cocktail list is to die for. But the big differentiator is the service which is absolutely incredible.

As a seasoned traveller you rarely come across perfection but this is the standard I will hold all other hotel experiences up to. My partner is an ex luxury hotel professional and she says the same. The polpette at dinner might have had a touch of too much tomato taste, but that’s the pettiness you need to have to find anything negative to say. The service was excellent at every encounter with the staff, going above and beyond. Lunch by the infinity pool was the highlight among many many highlights.
