The Diamond is a wonderful boutique hotel that has been thoughtfully restored and decorated with gorgeous antiques. The staff is friendly and helpful, many of whom are local university students. The restaurant and bar are fantastic. You are right in the middle of charming downtown and can't go wrong with this place!

Wonderful stay. Very charming hotel in center of Chico.. lovely appointments with all the modern amenities. Delicious food for brunch and fantastic bar and apps. We don't have dinner here but it all looked delicious. The staff from checkin - bar and restaurant could not have been more friendly and service oriented. Would stay here again.

The property was in the center of the city with excellent dining options and rooms were very well appointed, excellent staff

And we had our electric bikes and went through Bidwell Park. That was really cool. Could not cover all of it in one day and then headed to the speedway for the races had a great dinner at Frankies highly recommended and you can walk to it from this hotel.

This hotel hit all the marks for us- great location, walkable to restaurants and parks, free parking, clean, comfortable, beautiful building, great restaurant (the Grill) and friendly staff. I would enthusiastically return on my next visit to Chico.

The Hotel Diamond was very beautiful and luxurious. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The staff was super friendly and the free breakfast was a custom-made omlette with potatoes, fruit, and all the coffee and juice you care to drink. We loved being downtown within walking distance to all the great shops and restaurants. The free parking in the adjacent parking garage was an unexpected plus.

Wonderful historic hotel with convenient upgrades that retain the character of the property. Fabulous location and excellent breakfasts served in dining room - included in room price. Only place we will ever stay again in Chico.

This grand old hotel has been completely refurbished and very well done indeed. The staff were always helpful and friendly. The room was impeccably clean. The location is perfect in the heart of downtown Chico. The only negative was the TV did not work properly. It was supposed to have the common streaming channels (e.g., Netflix) but even a staff person could only get network stations.

Great place to stay when visiting downtown Chico and Chico State. Super convenient to walk to everything. The front desk was helpful and personable. The breakfast was fresh and made to order- with a very nice cook who gave me some great tips about the area and was accommodating to my son’s food allergies. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Chico. .
