First time here, but won't be the last. Service was excellent, loved all the Christmas decorations, and extremely easy access to power and light.

Traffic getring in was a bit rough, but after that smooth sailing. Quick and easy check-in. Clean room. Quiet atmosphere. Will definitely stay here again.

There was a TV but no directions and how to watch anything, when I called front desk, I was told to scan a QR code on desk in room, which was no help. We watched TV on my Ipad! The valet was very unhelpful. Didn’t explain parking or valet, we had to ask. There are no little fridges in the room, thankfully we had a cooler.

Beautiful historical hotel. Room was very spacious and comfortable! Staff very accommodating and friendly. Wish Starbucks would have been open after 10 am. Breakfast buffet was good.

Beuatiful property in the heart of the Power & Light District (downtown). Convenient walking to all things downtown and a block away from the RideKC Streetcar. Looking forward to visiting again!

Typically stay at another competitor close by. Wanted to try something new. This was our first stay. Loved how close it was to T-Mobile Arena. Beautiful and historical , well kept hotel. Overall the hotel is a 5 star in looks ( charactor) cleanliness and customer service. The ONLY negative is the noise around the hotel. We didnt get much sleep hearing motorcycles quite a bit all night and when no motorcycles the traffic was still evident. The front desk did apologize for the noise and said the police dont do anything about the motorcycles. This is unfortunate and a deal breaker for me in the future to choose this hotel.

Everything was perfect except the ice machines. We were in floor 4…. Ice machine was broken. Walked one floor down… broken. I got tired of checking floors and just went to the front desk and they hooked me up. Seems like an easy thing to get fixed. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

It was extremely hot when stayed in KC, so the lobby was a little warmer than I'd like but given the age of the hotel, it's not surprising. The historical aspect of the hotel was quite intriguing.

The hotel is amazingly it has so much history. I just wish the oerson eho checked me in was a little more descriptive meaning telling me wheres theres a restaurant how long they are opened. Maybe even some back ground in the hotel would have been nice.
My room didnt have towels nor hand soap or shower soap. Not sure what happened here kind of a bummer especially as nice of a place it is. I called for room service and frint desk abd the phone kept on ringing. No one answered so i had to go down stairs to request the towels. Whcih i didnt get and had to wait for them to be delivered to my room.

Loved the unique decor and original beauty of the building. Saff was awesome! We got to check-in early that was such a blessing to be able to relax a while! My only complaint is the bathroom soap was empty.

It was clearly a busy weekend for this hotel, which I’d stayed at about 10 years ago. It probably needs a refresh. The tub was stained and the body wash dispenser was empty. The hotel front desk was ok friendly but not what I expect for Kansas City. Overall still a fantastic place to stay in a great location!

The worst part was the parking that is where they recommend to park. On the morning 3 cars on the parking (one of them our friends), were with the window broke!! And the hotel did not really help much. There are camaras but evidently nobody is looking

Surprise $45 valet parking charge a bit of a scam considering you aren't allowed to self-park prior to check-in.
Charge was not advertised and excessive. Otherwise, the stay was quite nice and in a very convenient walking distance to the T-Mobile Center for event.

Only 1 person was checking people in at the front desk so it was quite a long wait to get checked in. The small TV in our room was really far away from the bed so it was hard to see. There wasn't a view. Just another building. It's an old building. Really needs an update. The elevators were very small. Clostrophobic in fact. On the plus side, our room was larger than expected.

An awful odor is present in the hotel. I brought this issue to the the hotel's attention and was told they didn't smell anything at all. I also tried to get Expedia to help, but their text only customer service was way too slow. I left after the first night and did not return.

Room was very clean! Sheets were clean an soft. There maybe some plumbing issues with room 1130, there was some gurgling going on with the toilet an up thru the sink. Just an fyi!!! 😉… hotel was so good, pretty cool to walk thru, breakfast was good also!! The parking garage was packed full, it was so hard to find a parking spot, people never park correct. Even for a midsize car it was hard to park.. ughhh but we made it…. We were only 4-5 minute walk to McFaddens an Mosiac…. The places were going too. We ubered to Prevee, pick up was super easy! Great place to stay!
