I'm so used to staying in corporate chain hotels, but my usual was fully booked so I went with The Dukes Head Hotel and was so pleasantly surprised that I am even leaving a review which is something I never do. The staff are sweet, the cleanliness of the room is spot on, and the breakfasts are just incredible! Little homely touches like a fancier coffee machine in your room (compared with a nespresso or even a kettle), the fact they have oat milk in sachets with great taste award tea bags, and the nice cosmetics too make it a really cosy and pleasant experience. Oh and also they have a large glass bottle of water in the room with cups - such a simple addition but I know I've woken up in the night so many times at other hotels gasping so this was just the cherry on the cake for me - loved it and will be coming back again.

I booked this for my parents. I live nearby. They said staff were helpful and their room was comfortable. I came over for breakfast which was really nice. They will likely stay again.

The Hotel, Food and service were very good. However the management must be aware of the volume of their music in some of their accommodation rooms. To be woken at 06.15am by music was not ideal. The music also plays later into the evening. Room 292 and 201 were both affected.

Excellent stay and a beautiful hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The pub attached has great food and service.

Very comfortable stay would highly recommend

Really enjoyed our stay in a very quiet room. The bed was comfortable and the shower was lovely and hot in the morning. Just minor points off include the 'complimentary' snacks in the room which are very expensive according to the price list and the bar with only one server whilst it was so busy and the other staff were doing cocktails for the restaurant. The girl who served us must have been new as she messed up the order and having waited so long to get served, my wife and I couldn't be bothered to explain her mistake. Nonetheless, we will definitely be coming back as overall it was a very good experience.

Dukes head hotel was clean and comfortable. Room had everything you would need. Bar and restaurant were good. Staff very professional. 4 night stay was on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. Breakfast was particularly good plenty of choice.

I have stayed at many places and this is the Best Ever. Great staff, Great Breakfast, Great Rooms, Great Shower, Great parking, Bus stop right out the door. And the BEST PRICE EVER. Just stop by and look. I will be Back.

Firstly the hotel is excellent no issues whatsoever,the only issue I had was food one night , I tried to order trout ,this was off the menu , no problem ,I then tried to order chicken which was off the menu , again no problem . Finally decided on rump steak which is shown in menu in the room , this was ordered and paid for , steak was fine although small after cooking . Looked at the bill next morning and it’s £32 for the steak . On questioning this was told it’s not a rump steak but a sirloin . The rump was/ is £22 . If I had been told it was a sirloin and it’s going to cost £10 more I wouldn’t have had it as it wouldn’t have been worth the cost . I did explain to a member of staff it’s not my money I am spending ,but was told rump not on menu only sirloin so it’s correct . On check out I explained to the pleasant lady on reception again , she understood and sympathised,but could not do anything as restaurant and hotel are separate .

My second visit to this Hotel, highly recommended from work colleagues, and it didn't take long to figure out why. Beautiful place, great food and drinks. Staff were so friendly.

We stayed for three nights. This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. It is clean and the food (breakfast/dinner) is excellent. The best part of this hotel however, is the staff. So friendly, professional and helpful. None better. We highly recommend this hotel and we would not hesitate to stay there again!

Easy check in. Room was clean. A little noisy in the morning.

Great customer service, very clean, beautiful newly decorated rooms....shame as there is a little smell of damp/old moisture in the corridors so 4 out 5 stars. Would recommend and will be visiting again

Surprisingly excellent hotel in Wallington! Easy free parking. Good food. Comfortable large rooms. Inexperienced staff - a little more efficiency and professionalism but pleasant and helpful.

Great find! Recently renovated rooms are absolutely beautiful & comfortable & the power shower was amazing. Well thought out that the guests staying have safety in you need you key card to access the corridors to the rooms! Good food both breakfast & dinner. Really friendly staff. 10/10 from me guys, keep up the good work 👍
