I wanted to give this a 5 star, but due to our check in, I can’t. We were here celebrating my son graduating BCT and heading to AIT. He was in uniform as we arrived. Immediately, as we were checking in, the front desk man, John, started taking about how the kid working with him was the hardest working immigrant he knew. We congratulated him because he truly seemed like a nice young man. John then proceeded to complain about the election and I casually said , “well as an army soldier mom, I was ok with the outcome” He looked up and said, “I wish they would ship out all these $&@* Republicans and let the illegal immigrants take their place. What a disrespectful thing to say, to even be talking about politics as we checked in. I was extremely offended and will be reaching out to Choice hotels corporate to discuss this. The rest of the entire hotel staff was so amazing

Stay was great! Beds are super comfy & Amy at the front desk was SUPER sweet & helpful! Not only with us but I seen she had the same energy with everyone else! 10 out of 10 I would definitely come & stay again & would recommend!

Clean, quiet, great customer service. Great area close by shops, dining, historical areas and theme parks. It's very short scenic drive to get to all you want on Williamsburg and Newport News.

Very clean and the beds were comfortable. There are lots of restaurants and shoppers nearby. It has easy access to highways.

In my opinion this hotel was overpriced and wasn’t worth the $440 I was charged for 2 nights. I don’t recommend. My issue were the beds like sleeping on rocks and it was a bit of a safety concern based on my observation.

The stay was average. Hotel was located in a good location. The toilet seat moved every time we sat on it. The screen to the window was torn. The tree hid our view. We had brought some Krispy Kreme doughnuts and left them on the dresser and when we got back ants were on the dresser and in our doughnuts. It was a Birthday treat for myself. I was so upset. I suggest monthly spraying. We only ate breakfast only once. Eggs were good.

The presentation walking into the hotel was good. The room was not cleaned while we were there. Upon calling the front desk she had an attitude and instructed us to come down for clean sheets.

It was good enough for a quick stay. Staff was nice and helpful. I think I saw they had some recent renovations those were not the best. White bedding is what I prefer at a hotel was not happy that the white bedding had stains. Just throw that away and start over! Toilet ran all night and that was kind of annoying. But it worked and was close to the location I was in.

I originally planned on staying for 1 night but extended my trip for a second night. Ms. Amy at the Front Desk was so very friendly and accommodating. She provides customer service that is truly above and beyond. Such a pleasure to stay at this Comfort Suites.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. The choices for breakfast were good. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel has done a great turnaround since the last time I stayed here. The upgrades are nice, the bed was cozy, check in was friendly, and the overall appearance of the hotel to include my room was clean and inviting. My only complaint is to have all guest to abide by the no smoking of anything policy.

The rating reflects the severe mustiness in our room #109. Probably due to the A/C laboring mightily to cool the room. Gave all of us sinus issues. We were only staying 2 nights so did not make a fuss.
The room was clean and the maid service was spot on.
The only other thing we found curious was that the shower did not have any body wash. There were recepticles in the shower for shampoo and conditioner.
When I inquired about the body wash the woman at reception went out of her way to look for body wash but could only come up with little hand soaps.
Also the showerhead was installed incorrectly and leaked where a stream of water shot up to the wall. I would have made them aware when we checked out but the person at reception was busy.
The breakfast was the usual you have at an inn at this price level, but clean and plentiful.
So, I took one star off for the mustiness on the cleanliness category.

When I first arrived, the person at the front desk made me feel so at ease and welcome. Her customer service was exceptional and hospitality was top-notch!

Was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at so far as a travel nurse in VA.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean and for the first time room service actually took the time to knock on our door and kindly asked if we needed anything to be replaced! Instead of me reaching out to them kudos for that , I appreciate it that gesture. Overall the property was well taken care of. I stayed with my family of 6 rooms were spacious. Good option to stay at if you are in the area.

Room smelled like weed for multiple days. I am unsure if someone was smoking on the floor etc. Staff should be more aware of what is going on. Unwilling to accommodate a late check out. When asked the gentlemen I spoke to was very rude and went on to explain how understaffed they were for how many check outs they had happening.

First of all the employees were so wonderful. The woman that checked me in was truly a blessing i can't remember her name but she's there all the time. I just love her,and my room was spotless. I love the Comfort inn by the airport. If you come to Virginia that's the place to stay 💯
