Rooftop view, very sloppy.

We were really looking forward to our stay but were really disappointed. Firstly, it’s great location and staff are nice (tbh, it’s Ireland - everyone is lovely anywhere you go). But everything else was not good. From the reception confusion around our booking - they deactivated our room key mid stay and gave our room key to my family who were checking in - to a room which had poor ventilation, tiny toilets, no drainage in the bathroom, and not good breakfast. I’d probably say, find somewhere else to stay.

Meticulous hotel. Service could not have been better. Wonderful, outgoing staff. Organized to the maximum.

The best stay of our entire trip! The property was gorgeous, the staff was incredible, the location couldn’t have been better. If we’re ever in Galway again, we will stay here again without hesitation.

It was obvious that the hotel was having staffing issues. Great location and room was as advertised.

We stayed for one night in the Hardiman in Galway and enjoyed every bit of our stay. We were welcomed warmly by the reception staff and were also very happy with the valet parking for our rental car. The rooms are elegant and charming. We would stay here again during our next Ireland trip.

The hotel was right at the center of town on Eyre Square, and easy walking to the main core and river. Lots of activity in the area and lots to see.

Lovely building - rooms were super and spacious. Staff were very helpful and worked hard especially at breakfast when it was very busy at times. Excellent áreas to relax in around the hotel. Great location opposite Eyre Park and near all the bars and restaurants. Parking in multi-storey near by. They have reserved areas for the hotel and reduced rates but wasn’t told about reserved areas when booking in which would of helped.

Really enjoyed it. Would recommend to friends.

An old hotel and a bit dated, but location is superb and staff are fantastic! We chose to do valet parking, which was well worth the money. Breakfast is included and is a great buffet…but you can also order items from a menu at no additional charge. For me, food was great, I slept really well,staff were awesome, and location is fantastic. All I could hope for!!!

Great stay! Lovely property and room was very spacious and comfortable. The only negative would be the server never ordered my breakfast and I waited over 30 min for eggs Benedict that were frankly awful. Overcooked. But loved the hotel!

The staff was amazing. The location was great. Only downside was the room was really hot and didn't cool down.

Great location, parking is not particularly close and it is paid. The room layouts cause for quite a long walk with your luggage up various stairs and down long hallways to get to some of the rooms. Besides that, very pretty hotel, nice rooms, and unbeatable location for Galway.

The hotel is in the best location. There is no spa. It closed after COVID. Breakfast was great. I needed to upgrade my room to the best available when I got there my original room mid-tier was too small and outdated.

Lovely hotel in a great location for the city centre. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Main areas of hotel are well kept and plush. Excellent breakfast. Only minor criticism is some parts of the hotel are a bit worn and room too hot. Would return again.

The hotel’s location is perfect for seeing the heart of Galway and close to all transportation options. It’s just steps from the train station. The rooms are somewhat dated and could use an update — primarily the bathroom. The staff is very friendly and check in was quick. I appreciate their kindness in merging two separate reservations I’d made (for consecutive nights) and keeping us the same room while also upgrading our stay to include breakfast. The view from our room overlooking the park was beautiful. But what excelled was the restaurant. Breakfast was wonderful every morning. Great food options, all fresh, and the staff is working non-stop to make sure you have everything you need. I also had dinner one night at the restaurant and thought it was amazing. The dessert was one of the best I might have ever had. I would stay here again without hesitation for the location and the dining experience at the hotel.

The Hardiman is excellent location wise as it sits right beside the Galway train station and beside Eyre Square. Staff and cleanliness are exceptional but there are two problems as well. As the hotel is older, there was no soundproofing between rooms. Second, the gym has been out of service for a few years.

Excellent hotel. Loved the details, the service, and the amenities in the room like the heated bath towels and spacious rooms.

A beautifully decorated hotel.The staff were so friendly .We were greeted by a Christmas tree in our room which was a lovely surprise. The rooms were spacious and comfortable

The Hardiman is a classic full service stay. With a basic opulence yet casual/friendly in nature. Location was the best in the heart of the best activities in Galway. Music/food/drinks/dance all packed into one small area. We also noticed a young vibrancy to Galway but thats because the most major Universities are there and it shows.

Perfect location city center at park. Good breakfast and 2 bars with food as well. Park had Christmas festival during our stay. Facility needed a little repair and internet was not useable. But we had 5g on ATT phones. Minor inconvenience for otherwise perfect stay.

An old-time classic hotel: staff were welcoming and helpful; breakfast was delicious (and included); towel warmers in the bathroom! Convenient to the train/bus station, Eyre Square, and shopping.

Great location but difficult to access if driving your own car. Parking area is semi-close and the property although historic the rooms need a little refreshing.
