We had to move rooms twice because the rooms were dirty. The first room the carpets/floor hadn't been cleaned, there was crumbs of food all over the floor and on the chair within the room. We informed the front desk, who were actually very good, and were told it would be cleaned by the time we were back from a walk. It hadn't been cleaned some 5 hours later so they move us.The second room was the same but also had hair in the sink and bath where the room hadn't been cleaned. Again, I complained and 45 mins later they moved us. The last room was good but the air-conditioning was not good enough considering the current temperature in Shanghai. I guess they use power saving at night to reduce their costs and so during the night is got warmer and warmer till around 7 when it started to feel cooler again. Overall, the hotel is tired and in need of renovation. I would say it's not worth the money it cost.

The view of the bund from the room was amazing. However, the room definitely need a new coat of paint and update the switches.

Had to go in and ask the person checking temperature to help and bring a trolley as well. Later, one of the staff came to help luckily but did not expect this from a five star hotel since every other hotel we have been in SH or else where had great luggage service. I told the staff at reception about the luggage situation and was totally ignored.The only saving grace was the view of the bund, the bar and the facilities: swimming pool and hot tub. Staff at the fitness facilities were super friendly.

Hotel with fabulous views, great restaurant with Sunday champagne brunch and excellent club service. My only complaint is that the ac in restaurants and club lounge is poor- a much mentioned complaint so I’m surprised still not rectified.

We spent the new year eve there and enjoyed a decent night, with free parking provided on site.

The view was beautiful although the shape of the building allows you to view inside other guests rooms and them yours. The bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was clean and beautiful. The carpet, chair and other decor were in need of a good cleaning or replace them to update. The room temperature was very warm. We tried to turn the heat down and off, but it was very warm all night. Hotel bar is has an amazing view with many cocktails choices and a short list of food options. The pool and locker rooms were bright, beautiful and spacious, but you must have a swim cap or purchase one for 120rmb.

Great views from many rooms but our had construction going on below. The Vue bar upstairs is lovely. The room was extremely hot and even after calling there was nothing they could do.

Good room for the price but not over the top fancy. Amenities on site are great. Location is good also. Breakfast hits. Rooftop lounge is a winner.

Very good food, breakfast and Happy Hour offerings were delicious, free drinks for Happy Hour if you book club rooms. However, view from the club rooms to the skyline is not the best. Great location. Overall the Hotel needs a deep renovation - mediocre condition of rooms and public areas do not make you feel like 5 stars.

Unfortunately staff could not speak English. I was missing laundry from the room. Breakfast area was a problem as they sat us at someone’s supposed reserved table and caused for commotion. Overpriced for the service

Modern environment, central location. Excellent gym facilities and swimming pool (assuming that the main purpose of your travel all the way to Shanghai was to swim).
However, I was annoyed a little by what I consider false advertising. The hotel is a short walk (5 min at my pace, probably 10 at yours) from the nearest point of the Bund but not what most people would consider "on the Bund".
Gorgeous view of the river and Pudong skyline, if you pay a little extra for a "riverview" room.

The cleanliness so so and the bathtub is clogged. Housekeeping is kind. The room full with cigarette smells but they get rid of the smells after complain. Overall design of the room is pretty nice. Receptionists are helpful but not the concierge staff. They have a perfect view of the bund from the room and nice bar to look at the view too.

From the moment we entered the staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and ours had a great view over the Bund. Hotel had excellent bars and eateries.
There is also a 711 and Starbucks nearby as well as local cafes and bars and all this within a five minute walk to the Bund and Nanjing rd a popular shopping strip.
