I've driven past this hotel for many years and always dismissed it as some kind of low rate bachelor place. But wow, it really surprised me. A nice hotel with nice rooms and a pool area outside. It really have a Mediterranean feel to it. Lovely

Great receptionist. Diner bufet ncluded. Great price value.

Nice swimming pool, roomy breakfast area, staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Staff were friendly and welcoming on check in and through out the stay. My room was basic to say the least. Lamps were directly above your head on the bed so you banged your head on them, plug socket was hanging off the wall and the other was hard to access. Curtains were not up to much and seeing as it didn’t get dark until 11 and it was light from 3.30 black out would have been good. The evening buffet was extremely limited - the salad bar was ok but then there was only one hot dish - pork one night fish the next then I’m not sure! There were only potatoes to go with it no veg!! Ok for one night I was there for 3 which I wouldn’t recommend. Plenty of car parking. In an industrial estate with nothing around.

Loved our stay. Nicely located and away from center city. Clean and safe. The best part is that all their rooms open to their nice court yard. They were in process of renovating the court yard. It is great to wake up and open the window wide i open and take some fresh Sweden air. The big plus is not only a fantastic free breakfast but also a great awesome free dinner. Super friendly staff. Ample parking. The only thing I recommend to the travelers is that if you have a lot of luggage get a room in the lower level. There is no elevator but it is only two stories.

The rooms are on the smallish side, but the breakfasts and dinners are excellent. The staff are pleasant, professional and go out of there way to help if required.

Nice hotel with breakfast and dinner included. Room was clean and comfortable, smelled good in the room. Wifi speed is good, easy parking.

Had a good stay at the Apple. Dinner is complimentary every night and has a wide and varied selection over the week. The front desk are very helpful and nothing is a hassle for them. There is a max burger and petrol station and supermarket within a short walk away.

This hotel is easily accessed from the E20 motorway just north of Gothenburg.We were met in reception by Anna who was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good enough size for myself, my wife and our 3 year old. The third bed was attached to the wall and had to be pulled down from it. We pushed one of the other beds up against it to ensure our little boy didnt fall out in the night.We did the mistake of opening our windows, as it was pretty warm in the room. This was a mistake because the people who had the room on the ground floor just below us were outside smoking.The free WiFi was wonky at best. Getting a connection was difficult and once achieved it would drop out within a minute or so.The breakfast buffet had a good enough choice and there was also a free evening buffet which we never got the chance to sample.Getting in to Gothenburg itself is easy enough. There is a tram stop about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The stop is called Kaggeledstorget and there are two tram lines that service it. Tram line # 1 will take you the quickest route in to Gothenburg centre. If you want to go to the amusement park Liseberg tram line # 5 will take you there quickest.You can buy a 1 or a 3 day tourist card from the Coop about 15 minutes’ walk from the hotel.

Staff was very friendly! On the outskirts of the city but a quick (15min) tram ride to Brunnspark and the center of the city. Breakfast and dinner was included so that will save money on meals if that is a concern. Pool area was closed (early May) but looks great when the weather was better

Hotel looked a little tired when i pulled up but as soon as i walked inside it was totally different. Reception area was very spacious, modern and inviting. Room was very clean but again a little tired, although full renovation of the hotel was happening during my stay, all the rooms would eventually be renovated. Very acceptable breakfast but the big bonus was the evening supper, it was enough for me to make it my main meal of the day. Staff were very helpful. Good free large carpark, ok for 7.5t lorries and free wi fi. Only 2 miles from the city centre, 300 yards from tram stop direct to centre.

I wouldnt really call the evening meal dinner. It was just two hot options on the first day and one hot option on the second, with some salad. No starter or desserts. Maybe light supper would be a better wording.

I originally checked in for 2 nights but have to cancel one night. I went to another better hotel which l really enjoyed. The hotel entrance is welcoming but the room is outdated no difference to university halls. I was not happy with the room, long corridor is a put off. The breakfast was vane. Staff was helpful but i will not be going back again. I expect more from this hotel but was dissappointed.

Hotel needs renovation like bed mattress need replacement.

our staty in the hotel was nice and comfortable.. it is close to the tram station. would staty here again if come to Gothenborg.

I have stayed in Apple Hotel, Gothenburg before. It was inexpensive but clean. This time, with the remodeling well underway it was so much better. A fresh coat of paint does wonders. The shower in one of our rooms was a great update. Honestly, it was just as clean as nice as the 4-star hotel where we stayed in another city and basically half the price. The foyer and dining room are not elaborate as the other hotel but why pay double when the rooms are equal. When you add in the dinner buffet that is included in the price of the room you come out way ahead. I look forward to seeing the hotel following the remodel.
