We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It was clean and welcoming and our room was spacious even for three people. The breakfast was great lots of choice from continental to full Irish ☘️. Parking was a big plus as was the provision of forgotten items such as toothbrush and toothpaste at no extra cost. Way to go Sheraton Hotel we would love to stay again when in Athlone🤩

Fantastic hotel, our stay was faultless from check in to check out. Lovely room, everywhere was spotless and well maintained, great breakfast. A really well managed hotel!

My only complaint had nothing to do with the hotel. The the hotel overall was a very good stay for my wife and I there was one minor concerned with water leaking from underneath the shower door I brought that to the attention of the front desk and it was taken care of the next day. My only true complaint had to do with the restaurant in the hotel with a limited menu and recipes that we did not care for.

Nice property, restaurant and bar on-site. Easy parking in the attached parking deck, hotel validates. Convenient and pleasant.

Ok hotel. Didnt really like the fact they blared music everywhere around the hotel including the breakfast room. Hotel has celtic tiger vibes and needs an update.

Loved everything about this hotel.

Horrible breakfast: service, quality of food, everything. They can‘t even provide cups for the coffee machine and take away everything mid way as we left our table to get some coffee etc. Unfriendly check in; lack of hospitality and training. Hotel rooms and infrastructure fine, but management / operations not up to standards for this hotel category.

Great indoor parking with direct hotel entrance. Could choose the hotel or explore the shopping mall or walk the streets for dining. Only stayed one night as we were returning a rental car the next morning, to the Dublin Airport. So a lovely place to end our driving tour.

We stayed in the Penthouse Suite and it was magnificent. Gorgeous space on the 11th floor with amazing views and climate control. Loved everything about it.

Great hotel to stay quite and very convenient for shopping would stay again

The breakfast was outstanding! The pool is lovely, and the neck massager jets and air seat were wonderful. My room was very quiet and I slept well. It was easy to walk to two different shopping centres and there were many food options. I had a great time and plan to return.

2 hours before our check-in time, while we were all en-route to the Sheraton, they rang us to tell us there were over-booked and had no rooms. Normally in this situation (which is terrible practice to be honest) you get accommodated in a hotel of similar standard. Unfortunately, we were given rooms in an “extended stay” B&B that really was no better than a hostel. No AC, water or basic facilities really, and the other guests and activity in the building left us feeling dreadfully unsafe. None of us hardly slept due to the noise all night. The Sheraton did attempt to compensate us with free drinks, supplemented dinner and gave us breakfast the next morning. The staff were all very nice etc but to have all this overbooking occur 2 hours before our arrival is unacceptable. In addition, if we had known this “B&B” was going to be the only alternative accommodation available we would have turned back and cancelled our trip. But as it all happened en route we just went ahead. We did also have to pay for the “B&B” which we shouldn’t have accepted but we paid as it wasn’t their fault the Sheraton messed up so badly. We were not convinced that the hotel was actually full. It also was not made clear why our party were the ones selected for the out- booking arrangement. It might have just been bad luck but either way, it should not have occurred as no hotel should over-book on a Saturday night. Suffice to say we will never book or attempt to book with the Sheraton again.

Very nice place to stop overnight. Fun pubs nearby.

Great hotel with easy parking option and easy walking to bars, restaurants, and shopping. We were very comfortable here. The rooms, beds, and bathrooms all nicely done. Climate controlled rooms. A little more money but I'm very happy with my stay. We had 4 rooms here and everyone was well rested and comfortable here.

The staff were exceptionally kind and polite. A lovely spacious room. The pool was brilliant.

We stayed in a deluxe room which was excellent, clean modern with an amazing view of the town and river.

The hotel bar and restaurant was unreal ,loved the king-sized bed worh the frodge .msde use od the spa amd pool to top off the perfect weekend

This property is somewhat aged, but the location is great. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They validate your parking. The staff was very polite and welcoming. Would definitely recommend staying there again.

This was the perfect place for us to catch up on sleep after our arrival from Canada to Ireland. Sights, restaurants, and train were all walkable distances. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend
