Hotel was clean and ideally placed for arrival and departure to Auckland airport. Breakfast was good and plentiful. All in all good place to stay.

Great hotel close to the airport. Free shuttle was easy and very flexible with timing. Beds and rooms very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. There is a strip of restaurants in walking distance, even though its a mostly industrial area. Felt very safe walking around.

Stop over night between flights. Lovelly gentleman @ reception on arrival 1.30am. Shuttle bus very useful and money saving as taxi cost 55 NZ$ as i was unable to contact hotel and it was too difficult to find shuttle bus stop in early hours we just got in taxi. Shuttle was running but we chose to get taxi as problems with my phone.

Great shuttle service at 1am. Beds were comfortable. Check in was quick. We were only here for 2 nights. There are some good small restaurants nearby.
There's a Countdown and Warehouse about 20 min walk away, the shuttle may be able to drop you off but it was a nice walk.

Excellent experience at Heartland Hotel. We were especially happy with the free shuttle service. It was a very rapid airport pickup and flexible airport drop off. Beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. Blackout curtains were provided in our room. Breakfast was very good. Reception was pleasant.

Comfortable beds. Clean and plenty of room for luggage on counters. Able to check out late up to 12PM at no charge. Parking included with room. Restaurants withi a 10 min walk were very good.

Very convenient to the airport with free shuttle. Concierge staff were friendly and very helpful. Restaurant on premises and pub with good food near by. The hotel has good accommodation at a reasonable price. I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting a place to stay overnight near the airport.

We had a comfortable stay. Very quiet room. Only downside was the shower pressure was very low and the shower over bath is outdated. But otherwise very comfortable. Note: check-in staff was unaware of the free upgrade offer for gold members.

Would highly recommend Heartland Motel Auckland Airport. The staff are fantastic and friendly and really helpful. The on-duty manager changed our room to accomodate us as we were travelling with a toddler and didn’t want to be so close to the road. Nothing seemed to be an issue. We had the buffet breakfast which was fantastic value for money and again the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again when passing through Auckland.

Poor customer service. Even though it's an airport hotel, it has inflexible check-in and check-out hours (3pm and 10am). They don't even bother checking their computer to see whether it is possible --- their answer is simply "No." When we asked whether they can complete our check-in process first while we wait for our room, their answer is No. When we asked whether they can store our luggage while we wait for our room, their answer is also "No."
