Value for money.
Boutique hotel right at the beach and in the center of Kamala town. Though the currents are gathering trash hence you need to walk a few minutes on the beach for clear waters.
Staff are very friendly and we enjoyed our stay. Excellent views from the balcony. Highly recommend this place

Layalina Hotel: Prime Location with Room for Improvement
**Pros:**
- Unbeatable location right on Kamala Beach, providing stunning ocean views.
- The staff is incredibly warm, friendly, and eager to help, making the stay more enjoyable.
- Foodies will love the nearby dining options—Ponds for authentic Thai cuisine and the wood-fired pizza across from the hotel, both of which are must-tries.
- The premium suites are particularly comfortable, offering a touch of luxury amidst the natural beauty.
**Cons:**
- Unfortunately, the hotel is located right at the opening of a water runoff canal. While this might not bother everyone, it can be unsightly and at times, luckily the wind is strong enough so there isnt an unpleasant odor.
- The beach directly in front of the hotel often has litter, mostly plastic debris washed up from the ocean, which detracts from the otherwise beautiful setting. But walk about 5 minutes down the beach and it is beautiful.
**Overall:**
Layalina Hotel offers a beachfront paradise in Phuket with excellent service and convenient dining options nearby. However, the sewage canal and the cleanliness of the beach are notable downsides. If these issues were addressed, this hotel would undoubtedly be a top choice for a relaxing Phuket getaway. For those considering a stay, the premium suite is worth the extra splurge for added comfort and a better overall experience.

The stunning view over the turquoise see and the beach, the beautiful rooms in Thai style, the staff, the location: Kamala is perfect, you find every piece of Phuket here, and it's not crowded.

This is one of the few hotels actual on the beach in Kamala. Direct access from hotel and pool area to the lovely beach. Also direct access to restaurants, massage and shopping at the back side of hotel. A perfect location for swimming, sun bathing, dining and relaxation.
Great breakfast where you can pre order what you want to eat either to the outdoor restaurant by the ocean or to your private balcony.
Nice rooms even though there is a slight lack of privacy between bath room and bed room.

The condition of floors,maintenave etc is ok, but not top notch. But that is a minor issue as you get location, location location. This is the place to stay in Kamala.

We stayed in Hotel Layalina for two nights - one at the beginning of our trip to Southern Thailand, and one night a week later before flying to Bangkok - and we couldn't recommend the place more!
The hotel is *very* comfortable, and clean. The location blew my mind - so close to the beach. The staff were amazing - so kind, courteous and helpful. They organised multiple transfers for us.
I'm not a big fan of Kamala Beach as a whole - and I wouldn't necessarily go back there but if I did I'd definitely stay in Layalina again!! Thank you so much!!!

A wonderful stay in Kamala. Staff was excellent, views are some of the best in the area. Location could not have been better. The only thing I feel would be an improvement would be if they were to change the breakfast menu. Staying for a number of days the menu got a little old but I must say the breakfast was excellent all the same. Had a wonderful time. All and all I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stay in Kamala.

Amazing view from the room over the ocean, which was lovely to wake up to every morning.
The staff are all excellent and attentive, check in was quick and I was shown around my room as part of the arrival process. Check out was also swift and easy.

Beautiful and safe place. It’s surrounded by restaurants, food markets and nice people willing to help you to get around. The massages are only $8 dollars per hour😊 there many places where you can get one. If you are looking for a place to relax, this is the place.

The location for the hotel is perfect. The are is very quiet with a very beautiful beach. The are is also family friendly with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. The staff there were very helpful, friendly, spoke very good english, and took care on any issue that came up. Make sure to rent a motorbike to save money instead of using taxis, unless you are going far away from the hotel. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the main mall on the island and the Pattaya bar area. Down the road from a 7/11. This is a perfect location if you want a relaxing vacation on the beach.

The problem being we have to give our requirements the night before and the time at which it should be served. I'd rather prefer a buffet breakfast at whatever time I wake up on during a vacation.
3. The staff was least helpful in arranging for any of the activities. They did not seem too interested in getting us to do anything other than stay there comfortably, which is not all I want from a vacation stay.
But overall the facility is good. The staff is very friendly and did everything to make our stay over there as comfortable as possible.

There was some kind of smell in the hotel as it is located before a seafood place and every time you walk in or out there was a pile of trash on the side of the narrow entrance where there are motorbikes lined up for rent. The food was okay not special and lacked spices. The room inside and walls looked old and a little worn out Although for people who are on a budget that might be a good place. We stayed for our honeymoon 4 nights there after spending sometime on Panwa beach at a much nicer and cleaner hotel and honestly we regret it. We thought by moving to a different part of the island we would see more. But it was a mistake.

Nice place in a really quiet area ( Kamala ); strongly suggested if you want to spend a great time and in a delicious beach, taking also the opportunity to visit various islands and exhibits (due to the strategic location of Layalina)
Hotel was good with an amazing view especially during the twilight.
Smell outside was not the best one but this is something acceptable versus the rest of services provided by Layalina.

Waterfront. Nice staff. Very. The entrance looks dodgy. Inside it’s simple. The rooms are cool 2 level with upper loft. Say nude sun bathing. And open outdoor shower. Lower levels have nice open concept. Big bath. Clean. Tea lights lit. Hammock for the front to lay out and be ocean front on your deck. The pad Thai was the best I have had in Thailand. Close to everything. If you stay on the river side. Wear tons of mosquito spray. I let my son sleep outside on the hammock. He was eaten alive literally and went to the doctors. Just wear the spray and have fun! Beach front. Pool. Boutique.
