First time to Shanghai, hotel is located near a station which makes moving around the city a littler easier. Concierge service is good especially with a team of friendly and enthusiastic staff members. However, it was difficult to find food in or near the hotel areas, which is rather inconvenient for overseas travellers.

Room smelt of food which worsened through the night after about 11pm. Aircon couldn't get the room lower than 23C. Bathroom light flickered even when switched of. Cant believe this hotel can claim so many stars. I spend about 75 days in hotels in Shanghai a year. By far my worst experience.

The stay is just so-so, for a 5-star hotel, I would certainly expect better "breakfast". The food is not very fresh; the deep-fried dough sticks 油条 is so hard like rocks, and there is only one choice of cheese. Should really improve

This was my third time but first time after Covid. Room was spacious and quiet, reasonably conditions considering the age. Kettle was very clean which was a surprise. Bed was firm but not too firm. Towels were without detergent smell. In general I am happy with my this 7 nights stay.
Where to improve: have a table sign during breakfast so guests and staff know if table is occupied. Gym equipment to be repaired if damaged.

Overall good hotel in a great location. However I had AC issues. The staff was great and tried to make it better and also gave me a portable fan but the hotel seems to have AC issues in some other rooms too..

This hotel was indeed very nice, good breakfast, beautiful surroundings even though in the middle of a dense area. Executive lounge on floor 52 was neat and personnel was nothing but friendly and helpful for a foreigner.

I stayed at this hotel for four, five times over the years. What was decent years ago are now very outdated. Worst offenders are the lifts with terrible waiting time in the morning, stuffy smell in the room, and the hopeless basement bar.
Still, hotel is good value.

Swimming pool is very good, the breakfast buffet is also nice, many choices and i live the fresh noodles and yogurt. Some traditional steamed ban and dumplings.
