Room was comfortable. Very walkable into the town. Street parking was easy to find and cheaper than parking at the hotel. Breakfast was tasty with a good choice of food. Good value, would recommend to stay here.

Wonderful & helpful staff

What you would expect from a 3 star hotel. The rooms were of a good size with balconies and had all the required amenities

The positives: Good location. Helpful staff. Nice pool. The negatives: the room had a smell that got worse at night.

This hotel, when new, must have been terrific. As of now, it is still a good place for a stay, however, could use a refresher. With that said, the staff was great, as was the adjacent restaurant. The bar staff was very friendly and we enjoyed having our late night drinks and snacks. At times, it felt, they were a little understaffed (at the bar, that is)-but it was always service with a smile.

Excellent room for the price. Bar staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

very clean and comfortable room, great location, you can walk everywhere from the hotel, it has a pool, a jacuzzi and a sauna, great continental breakfast, check in and check out was a breeze. highly recommended. we spend 4 days in the hotel in August 2023

This hotel was perfect for our stay in Ponta Delgada, it was walkable to many different things and in a great location if you needed a taxi. The hotel staff were fantastic and extremely helpful. Overall it was a great stay!

Hotel Ponta Delgada is in a good location to walk to the old section of the town that is by the port. We enjoyed the balcony and found the hotel to be quiet in the evening. The pool area is also nice (very much an adult place, not geared for children). The rooms are okay but dark. If you ask for a double bed it is two twins pushed together. This seems to be a place that group tours book as there were a lot of people that would hit the breakfast and then all leave together. Breakfast has some nice options but it was like a war zone a bit - we ended up going down a bit later to avoid the huge rush but then the employees were still trying to recover and were out of some things. The breakfast group works incredibly hard though to try to stay on top of it all. The other staff at the hotel will help if asked.

Good location. The restaurant next door has amazing food. Easy walk to the old town and the waterfront.
