The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them to help. An outstanding service all round.

In Riva al Lago was easy to find and close to many restaurants and shopping in Como. Marta was helpful getting us checked in. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We were happy to have AC and a fan to cool us off during hot weather.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Really appreciated that. Room doesn’t have much of a view but it was the best value for our family of 4.

I stayed in the Double Bedroom on the second floor. Zero hassle, it is super clean, ample breakfast items, 2 double glazed windows so there is no sound from the street, aircon cold, private toilet and shower very clean. It is a room inside and area where there are other rooms as well like the 4 person room so the only noise will be from other people in that area.

This property is a good location to explore Como. The rooms have everything you need for your stay, tea and coffee making facilities and a selection of snacks. Remember to book a parking space if driving as parking is limited.

The area was great. Room was clean and small. We were told the air conditioning could not be turned on and to just open the windows, even after explaining our allergies towards pollen. The property doesn’t let you enter in after midnight which felt very odd. Very very clean. Can hear everything, walls seem thin.

Mario was so nice and helpful with a place to eat, making ice formour cooler as well as stating that because we got in late, it would cost more to pay for his parking than to use the public parking which is less than a block away. Only downside was an assumption on my part. When I see B and B I assume breakfast is included and no breakfast was included. We would still stay again just because of Mario.

it was hard to find the check-in spot at first (you can see the front desk through the window to the left of where Google Maps takes you), but otherwise we had a great experience here! Comfy bed, clean bathroom, great water pressure for the shower, plenty warm and super close to the lake. Friendly staff too.

Convenient place to stay, situation close to the lake is great. Everything is within walkable distance, including the centre of the city. Personnel very friendly. Bathroom was large and well equipped. Room not small, but with no view, widow facing a 1,50 m narrow alley. Esthetics not a priority, but OK for a short stay As in many other hotels in North Italy, there is no sound isolation from one room to the other but people in the next room had same timing.

Entry PIN and emergency phone number should be accessible online. Yes, I was given a paper slip with those details, but in a rush I forgot it in my room. Once I came back (23:30), the reception was closed and I had no one to phone so was very very close to being left outside the building as I forgot the pin. Doesn't help that emergency phone number and PIN are on the same piece of paper. Had to resort to desperate measures, and knocked on the door of the hotel in the hope that someone will hear me. I was lucky the manager of the hotel was still in the building, and he heard someone knocking so he opened. But man that was scary! Entry sistem should be revised and make it less prone to fail.

Unpleasant property in what appeared to me to be in not so desirable area of town. I did not check in .

We visited Como literally three months before the COVID - 19 pandemic .Had a wonderful two night stay. Staff were superb, friendly and approachable. All aminities were near such as bus C17 towards Menangio ,C19 towards Bellagio ,Lake boats,cruises etc. Hotel breakfast was with hundreds of varieties healthy foods and fruits.We consider it more than breakfast almost a lunch . Above all hotelier Mario is a ''Super Mario '' because we saw his hospitality towards all boarders were very caring.I wish him very well and hope he is doing excellent in this current situation.

Good value for the money. Very cleanliness. It could be that the shared bathrooms are quite busy when the place is fully booked. It was no problem in my case.

Have stayed here each time we visit Lake Como. It is an outstanding inn. Location is perfect right on the lakeside. So clean and beds very comfortable. We had en suite bathroom and it was super clean. Mario is an impeccable host. Very attentive and helpful. Breakfast is exceptional with everything one could want. Our room was 3rd floor which was no problem for us but if mobility is a concern, ask for ground floor room in advance. No elevator. Very close to bus stop. Take #4 or #5 to and from the Como San Giovanni train station. Love this place. Thanks, Mario!

I did my booking after 10PM and when I arrived to hotel reseption was closed and and door was locked. There was not information that reseption is open limited hours. There was not chance to get my room after midnight so needed to book a new hotel. I paid the room but NO refund. Very bad experience.

The street appearance of this hotel us ratty snd scary. The inner stairs are unlighted, dirty snd narrow. But the room was just fine. The desk lsdy walked us to our room because there are codes to put in at the hallwdya. The air cooler only runs at certain hours. The room had no problems except the shower water ran allover the floor. Breakfast was crowded but had an amazing selection. It doesn't start until 8:00 and our train left before that, so they gave us a yogurt and apple to go.

Ok for the price. Everything was clean, but there's no breakfast in May at least. There's a really secure carage for 13€. They use a really strong scented detergent/cleaning products, so don't go if you're allergic.

Very conveniently located hotel 5 min walk from historical center of Como. Bus station next to the hotel with connections to most towns on the western side of Lake Como. Simple but clean and friendly hotel.

Only problem no elevator and if you are on top floor can be pose a problem with heavy luggage

Very close to the lake. Bed was comfortable, shower & bathroom were clean & just the right size. The largest bath towels I’ve ever seen! No views from the room but I was only sleeping there. I would stay there again, can’t beat it for the price! Restaurants galore right outside the door!
