staff not helpful and accomodating at all. place looks good on pictures but not in reality. too far from the city. will never come back to this place

Breakfast was expensive and poor by hotel standards. Possibly a decent breakfast for locals. Restaurant food was poor also and expensive. The people were nice and professional. The tour i took of the underground river was good but the hotel provided zero guidance on what tp wear so i was woefully unprepared.

Courteous & hardworking underpaid staff but place needs a lot of upgrade. Isolated beach location but that’s about it. Poor cell phone & wi-fi signal. Food service & transport is very limited.

Beach front but lacking service. No coffee shop, somewhat economical for the money

Outstanding. Impeccably clean. The staff was very professional and very helpful. The poolside restaurant had superb chef quality food. Everything was in place to make it a relaxing and carefree experience. Thanks you all! We will be back again, sometime hopefully soon.

Gorgeous location and superb hotel. Fantastic location on the beach. Shallow sea with wildlife. Lovely rooms

The property was well maintained and manicured. The only complaint I have was the internet was horrible in the rooms. I must add that house keeping did an excellent job and Ivan the young man in charge of our room went out of his way to ensure our room was always cleaned beyond belief.

In general, our stay was great. The place was clean and well-maintained and the food was delicious. The only thing that did not make it perfect was the shuttle fetching us was 30 minutes late. We came from tours and we were already tired, so it kind of bummed us out.

Old but well-maintained clean hotel in the mangroves at the sea. I liked the nice sand of the beach right in front of the hotel. And as I usually do not swim in the sea but prefer the swimming pool, it did not disturb me that this side of the island does not have the classy beaches for swimming. (Remember, this is mangrove area). Except for shacks on the beach next to the hotel (which are great for a beer), there is only nature around. Frequent shuttle buses are available to Robinson Mall; make sure you book them, as many guests avail of this free service.

The hotel is nice and located away from the busy downtown. Only minus is the restaurant - food needs a serious upgrade. Especially since there are no other options around.

If u are only going to be in PP, then Microtel is the best choice. It has a beach access and the view is just amazing. My only negative comment is the confusion of the room advertised on this site. I booked a lagoon view and they gave me a standard room and Microtel said they (who is “they”) need to correct it. I had to pay extra for the upgrade to a beach view.

Does certainly not facing the beach as one would expect when the book lagoon side. Hotel located in midllen of nowhere. Beach looks like a bad nighmare movie. Un_bathlable and unclean. Enter at your own risk. We were not game enough to go too close to the beach. Beware of mosquitoes. Dirt road leading to hotel miles and miles long. Tho hotel supply a shuttle to town which is so far away. Absolutely nothing to do with no night life at all. Last shuttle back to hotel is at 21.30. After 9.30 pm back to your cage. Will not go back and discourage future guess. Could not wait for our booked stay to finish.

Great beachfront hotel. They had cute beach hammocks and very nice views. The hotel staff was friendly. However, the restaurant was average. The ambiance was nice, they had live music one night but we didn’t like the food much. We asked the hotel staff to book the underground river tour, they said it was fully booked and the government was not issuing any more permits to go on the tour. However, when we went into town and asked around, the tour was still available and we managed to book it.

Great hotel with fantastic views.DONT: go to the beach bar next door to the hotel (not sure if this is actually part of the hotel) . Drinks were overpriced and got a severe case of food poisoning-fantastic on holiday.
