The room and the bathroom was too small . l would expect it warmer. Seems like a temporary building.

It was a self check in hotel but it was well organized and well informed on check in and check out to edites. It offered a nice European breakfast and was a 15 minute walk to city center. There is a grocery store just a few steps away that you can buy prepared food that can be warmed up and eaten in the hotel. There were no cooking facilities but you can heat up in microwave. There is also a fridge in hallway where you can store food or drinks, just write your room number and no one else touches your food. It was well thought out and great for a few nights stay.

It was a pleasant stay, do not expect anything luxurious or comfortable. It was a budget hotel. clean, functional, friendly, helpful.. self service breakfast ( no cooked breakfast though). All well.

Quaint and comfortable, peaceful, in a nice neighbourhood, close to university. Wonderful personnel!

Nice little hotel with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Free Wi Fi and Breakfast. Difficult to find all this and own bathroom at the price. Surprised that many competitor establishments in price range offer shared bathroom. Within comfortable walking distance of town centre and has a small supermarket across the road. A very pleasant hotel.

We enjoyed our stay st the Hotell Stella. We could walk to nearby sights and enjoyed the breakfast. Front desk was very helpful.

About 15 min walkt o central Uppsala. Very nice accomodations, breakfast ok- ability to heat your own food. Nice staff and Clean and cosy rooms. It sure will be my firts chioce when visiting Uppsala!

I reserved a single room for my son as he sought more permanent student lodging. Great location near the University. Very friendly and helpful staff. Reasonably priced. Room nicely appointed. Near bus stop.

Slap bang in the middle of university residences, this hotel appears to be renovated former student housing evident by what can only be described as a bisque ensuite. A bit out of the way although a pleasant and non taxing walk to all attractions and restaurants. Off street parking was easy and inexpensive which in Sweden is rare. Overall, a very pleasant stay for a night or two.

Hotel Stella is a nice little hotel. Very friendly staff, good breakfast en comfortable bed. We enjoyed the free bikes to ride around town.

I stayed here for one night for business. I arrived in the evening and could not for the life of me find the hotel!! The reason for this is that when I booked the hotel it was called Hotel Charlotte but the sign said Hotel Stella! The girl on the front desk was very helpful and was able to direct me to the parking. The room was ok, the bathroom wasn't very nice but it was clean

This seems to be barely converted student accommodation. Be aware the front desk is manned limited hours and facilities are minimal, no phone is rooms and tiny bathroom. You don't get much for your money, and town is 10 minutes walk away...

This is a small, clean, and charming hotel within a quick walk to the central district areas. It provided a nice feeling of being in the real Uppsala campus environment as opposed to the business district locations of the other hotels. We had great assistance/advice from the evening clerk when we arrived, who was very pleasant. Parking, if you want to be one of the few people in Uppsala with a car, was available immediately across the street for 50 SEK. Breakfast was well presented, and it was a very nice extra touch that some items were available at all times of the day (coffees and teas and a selection of cookies). Of our recent 9 day visit to Sweden and Norway, this hotel made the most positive impression on me.

Unusual looking hotel but a very nice stay.
It is at 10-15 min walk from centre and in a quiet area. Like all Uppsala I guess :-))
Bathroom is a little too small but I managed.
