Well located, room was okay bathroom a little on the small side but was clean. Felt room needed updating slightly but again was clean and functional. Would have preferred a room on the back of property as there was a bit of noise during the night with people talking and laughing but again not a big problem. Breakfast was nice and food cooked well.

The hotel was in a great area right next to river walks . Easy to get to town centre,. Plus restaurants and pubs .

Comfortable stay, very friendly helpful staff. Breakfast really good, done well. No parking spaces left on my arrival, however there is a very large cark park over the road , This was free to park form 6pm to 8am on the day i was there . There is also an Indian restaurant across the road, which the staff recommended to me the food was excellent . Would stay here again.

The people were extremely helpful. The breakfast was a delight. Very English and very good. The room was small but so clean and comfortable.

Very friendly staff. Car Parking is a bit odd -
8 spaces but you either block someone in or are blocked in. Keys left with reception for your car to be moved if required!!!

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff who I think own it, very helpful in offering advice on the area and places to go, nice room, comfortable bed, and fantastic cooked breakfast. Hotel is also right in the centre of town and had free parking.

Position was fantastic. You could leave your car and walk everywhere. Beds were comfortable and staff members were very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Breakfast superb with alternative milks and gluten free available. Character building meant going up stairs and the room at the top was rather warm. There was a fan in the wardrobe we found at the last minute. Quiet area with lovely outlook. Beautiful hanging baskets at the front.

A central, easy to get to hotel. Facilities good but parking can be difficult when there are a lot of guests (but there is a public car park very nearby). Very Pet friendly (although some of the other guests clearly weren’t). Overall, enjoyable.

First thing to say is that breakfast is fabulous! Location is great and very easy to walk around town from the hotel. Car parking is a bit limited but every well managed. Everyone we met was really nice and extremely polite. Rooms were good, bathrooms a bit small I guess.

Reasonably priced and clear instructions from helpful staff. No fuss check in and check out. Really convenient for the town centre and close to very pleasant riverside walks and othe amenities.

The hotel was very central so walkable to most tourists places, plenty of pubs and restaurants in the local area. The room was clean and in good condition. A good choice of hot and cold breakfast, cooked freshly.

It was a lovely property. A bit noisy at times between the bedroom spaces , with rooms not being very noise reductive, however this can only be expected in older properties pre- insulation techniques and in a town centre. The breakfast was lovely in a really comfortable room. Can not fault the staff and the rooms were extremely clean and the beds were comfy.

I stay here on a fairly regular basis when working in Shrewsbury as it's close to the office I'm visiting.
The hotel is always clean and comfortable, the breakfasts are very good, and you're close to the town centre with access to a good range of shops, pubs and restaurants. It's also roughly a 15 minute walk from the railway station and bus station.

Second time here and I was looking forward to the breakfast - and I was not disappointed! Excellent quality, lots of choices and very well cooked; the perfect start to a day. The location is perfect and, while nothing here is fancy, everything is just right. The staff are welcoming and I would highly recommend this hotel - I'm looking forward to my next visit...
