Perfect location. A couple of mins walk from the bus station with connections to both the train station and the airport. It was right on the main square (but not noisy), really helpful receptionist. Couldn't fault it.

Fabulous location and wonderful staff! Charming Old World room. The restaurant is amazing- fresh in house pasta and the best lamb I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!!

I can't recommend this hotel enough. The location is ideal, with the front door on Piața Sfatului, the main square in the heart of the old town. You can easily walk to restaurants and shops and see the highlights in the area. What was really delightful was the incredibly helpful and attentive staff. They are at the front desk 24 hours and answered all of our questions. They had a lovely note and gift in our room to celebrate our anniversary. They checked on us whenever they would see us to make sure we were enjoying our stay and had everyone we need. And the hotel was delightful, rustic but very clean and with so much light. It was convenient to have the restaurant attached to the back, and the breakfast was really good. We can't wait to visit again.

Excellent location right off the old town Square. Lots of food and drink options. There is also a restaurant inside the hotel itself, With free breakfast, depending on the room/rate you arrange. AC worked well. Charming old building.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and service is kind. Unclear situation about AC (open windows worked for us).
Directly outside is a lively restaurant scene.

Parking is an issue as this is centrally located with no short term parking to even drop people/luggage. You also have a long stair case to main floor, another to the breakfast area, and most likely to rooms.

Excellent hotel. Very quaint. Excellent location. Clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
Only drawback is that there’s no elevator so be prepared to take stairs as needed. With luggage and all.

Unfortunately we didn’t get the room that we pay for. Not the picture that we saw at the website.
It was a room in the basement!
Many stress to go down to the room!!
The view from the window was garbage!
We told the girl in the front desk that I can’t go all this stress down but she said no more room. ( she gave after that a room to another guy)
We felt that because we ordered the room from hotels.com , they didn’t care. I will add pictures with the “view” from the window. Also a cleaning guy was there all morning making noise.
The hotel didn’t mention at the web that they don’t have parking, so we had to park far and 8am ran to pay .

I very much enjoyed my 4 night stay at Casa Wagner. The rooms are each different styles and well maintained. The building dates to the 14th century yet you would never guess that based on the rooms which have been updated to the 21st century :). The hotel is super centrally located which makes it very convenient as you can walk everywhere. Tons of shops and restaurants as well. I would efinitely go back.

Great hotel , great location and nice staff at front desk. The hotel is a few steps away from Black Church and everything is nearby. Staff was friendly and very helpful with information. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel -- but be warned there is no elevator, which is a problem if you have to lug heavy baggage up two flights of stairs. And the person who checked me in was not responsive to my request that I be given a room away from the noise from the square that went on loudly until late that night (there was some event that day/evening/night).

The hotel had a great atmosphere and the room was clean and cozy. Staff was also super nice and helpful. Beds were a bit creaky but comfortable enough, also the water in the shower took a long time to warm up but it eventually did. Everything else worked fine, and overall we loved our stay. Would definitely come again!

Recommend if you are sensitive to noise ask before the staff to ensures a room without noises..
I personally more sensitive and couldn't stand the noise coming out from the bathroom after showering staying the noise from the evening until the morning..
Otherwise everything wonderful ✨️

An absolute gem of a hotel, we loved staying here. They were kind enough to upgrade us to an absolutely wonderful room which was huge and had an incredibly comfortable bed and an enormous bathtub. Great view of the Brasov hilltop sign and lovely velux windows onto the starry night. Unbeatable location on the town square, great breakfast included, and fabulous little details in the room with traditional Transylvanian designs. Very lovely helpful staff. Highly recommend.

I was very disappointed in the room that I had. When I walked into the room it was very small and had zero character. The bedspread and toss pillows looked filthy.
The location was great and the staff was kind, but it didn’t make-up for the awful room.
My friend had a room in the loft area and really liked it. Luckily, for me it was only 2 long nights!

Excellent location and old world charm. Easy access to transport for excursion activities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Old town square has beautiful view! Only down side is that it’s several hours from airports but it is what it is and we looked at it like an adventure to get there! Restaurant food and breakfast food was quite good too. Would definite recommend to stay here if visiting Braşov.

First off, what a truly fantastic location. Right in the heart of things, step out the door and the old town square with all its restaurants and terraces is right there.
The staff on reception were fantastic, we arrived 2 hours before check in but this wasn't a problem. Our room was ready and we were unpacking our bags within minutes.
Though they have their own restaurant we didn't try it out as we preferred to eat out. But if you want to stay in then they provide you wit a 10% discount voucher upon arrival.
Only thing I would say to be aware of, is that due to the location there is zero parking. Nearest road side parking is about 50m or so but spaces are limited, a car park is further up the road but once again this can get very busy.

We accidentally booked Casa Wagner (mix up with other hotel name) and were totally surprised that we had to schlepp our big suitcases up so many stairs. And that after rolling them over mostly cobblestones as we had to park our car far away. (We gave up after nearly an hour of searching for a space close by.) Room No. 6 was loud as their is a little alley where a restaurant was having their bottle storage and inside there are tables across of the room where people can sit, work or play.
So, I guess you need to get the right room and best is not to arrive by car as the central location is great otherwise.
This labyrinth of rooms and halls was just not for us.

The rooms are nice , very clean and big.The location is fantastic.Lots of dinning options around.The bus station for the train station is close too.(the staff called Bolt for me too)
