Everything at this hotel was flawless. The location to Brattleboro and surrounding attractions was convenient and no hassle to get to. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful, our stay was enhanced by the friendly faces we saw coming and going each day. The room was very spacious, clean and modern. The bathroom was especially large and gleaming from a fresh cleaning. Overall we would stay here every time we come up from now, it’s the only place we would consider! Thanks for a great weekend!

We stayed here on a recent trip to Brattleboro and we were so pleased with the location and the quality of our stay. The room was both clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. We will definitely stay there again should we be passing through!

What a charming property. Our room with a balcony overlooking the Connecticut River was made for relaxing! It was a great place for our morning coffee supplied by the hotel. The room itself was clean, comfortable, spacious with nice linens. The staff is friendly and helpful. We didn’t want to leave—but we will be back! It is a good base for visiting attractions and quaint towns in both NH and VT.

It is a very relaxing and peaceful place. I regret not spending more time there and I also regret that some guests do not respect the tranquility of other guests who want to rest and disconnect from the daily routine to be in contact with a view as beautiful as that. In general, the staff is extremely pleasant and very friendly. Everything is very clean and cozy. The rooms are quite spacious and so is the bathroom. I would only like some of them to be showers, which would be useful for disabled people who cannot lift their legs or who only have a wheelchair, that would be the only detail. For the most part, I loved everything. I think I plan to return.

Super clean and quiet!!

Was on a work trip. Hotel is super clean. Staff are friendly. Location along the river is serene and relaxing. Enjoyed the balcony space to take in the river. Would definitely return when in the area.

Perfect spot to stop

Well, it's a beauty of a hotel in a great location, with an excellent view of the Connecticut River off the back. Great location if the Brattleboro region is your primary destination. The room was clean and comfortable. All that said, we had genuine issues, which would be great if they could be worked on for the future. Calling out stay one with a balcony room was misleading. The deck out back is more of a veranda or outdoor setting. Upstairs room, some had a private balcony, which was what we thought we booked. If we stay here again, I'd rather call them directly, then book online, so we can accurately get the room we want. The other downside was the shower. If you're under 5'6", stepping into and out of the shower is quite the step up. We're shorter, so it became an issue. I suppose, if you also have knee and joint issues, this may be a frustration. Speaking with the staff about our concerns did not go so well. I'm sure they meant well, but in times of need, they mostly misfired, causing added frustration. This hotel has great potential, with a handful of changes. Maybe lowering the expectation of what we book, so our experience wouldn't have been somewhat disappointing. That said, we would gladly book here again, knowing what we're getting.

Very nice place to stay

The room and the views are stunning. But there is no service on the weekend, no food available on premises, the coffee in the morning is not great and is served with coffee mate. It seems like a lot to pay for just a room, albeit a beautiful room

What a lovely hotel, with the beautiful Connecticut River right next to it. I stayed for six nights and loved waking up to that pretty view. Pleasant and attentive staff, provided recommendations for dining when asked. Bed was comfortable for a nice sleep. Clean room and premises. Highly recommend it.

Nice clean large rooms, public space. No food, snacks (that I could find) but good coffee and tea in the AM. Accomodating staff. Would stay again.

The hotel was quite new and fresh looking, the staff helpful and friendly, the room was great!

The view of the river was great. The room was very spacious. The fridge was larger than a normal mini fridge. The bed was a sleep number bed. The staff was super friendly. It just seemed to have a lot going for it.

Beautiful river view, the room is very clean, looks exactly like the pictures. Love the hardwood floor. Furniture - kept very new, the mattress is firmness adjustable. Bathroom - very spacious and unbelievably clean. Even though there is no restaurant inside the hotel but other restaurants and grocery stores are very close by, not an issue at all. My daughter and I stayed there for a weekend ski trip. Definitely will come back.

Wow! I wasn’t expecting such luxury. We booked a few rooms online for an overnight after a family celebration. The photos looked nice and the reviews we good so I crossed my fingers and booked it. The Riverside exceeded my expectations. The rooms are wonderfully spacious, clean, and inviting. We had a beautiful view over the Connecticut river. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Our whole party was refreshed by our night at the Riverside. If my travels ever bring me to the area again, I will be staying here again.
