Room smelled like 10 packs of cigeretts were smoked in there at once even though said non smoking and the sink was clogged with disgusting water. Had to brush teeth in the shower.

If you’re planning a trip to Brattleboro, review what you’re getting for the cost. The pool isn’t owned by the motel and has unusual hours with a check in process that is very uncomfortable. The carpet in our room wasn’t vacuumed, the hair products were cheap hand soaps (in a brand-name- refillable containers) there wasn’t a “spa”, and the mattresses were very uncomfortable. For the price, we could have stayed up the street at a much better place. Also, there isn’t any taxi or Uber service in the area so plan accordingly.

I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but I’m going to in this instance because I based my decision to book here on the reviews I read, which were terribly misleading
This property is old, it hasn’t been updated in forever, and you can’t just stick the word spa in your title and expect it to improve the situation
My room smelled bad and was FREEZING and when I turned the heating unit on the room filled with the smell of urine. I had to sleep in sweats and a sweatshirt and I was still very cold. Everything is shabby, of poor quality and questionable cleanliness
The photos of the room I booked looked nothing like what I was was checked into.
I own a lodging establishment and bust my butt to provide guests a quality experience. These folks should try doing the same instead of misleading the public

Checkin was easy, fast and friendly.
But, the room needed a second vacuum. Bedspread had an old bloodstain on it. Was gone the full second day of my reservation, but no housekeeping came in to clean at all, nor were we provided fresh towels.

The room has a very strong odor of cigarettes making it very hard for my 7 year old and I to fall asleep. No one at the front desk for check in. It was a late check at 9pm but not extremely late and had a convo prior with the manager before coming to let them know. When I called to let the manager/owner know I was there he was quite rude. It was all in all a cheap but uncomfortable stay.

Tv in living space tv did not work as far as programming,no wash soap in shower, people knocked on door late at night looking for someone else,check in and check was very easy and continental breakfast was that a continental breakfast,but i dont have any complaints ,pools are nice hot tub is nice.if we go back that way i woukd stay again .

It's not what the pictures portray. Room was clean enough. A lot of livers in the hotel. Price was good. If needed i would stay again but if i didn't need to I'd probably go on to another town

Brattleboro has no taxis or Uber. If you want to enjoy the DT with drinks - have a designated driver or stay in area with no enjoyable restaurants. I stayed here last year driving my moto through Vermont. This year it was the cheapest - so I tried again. There is a reason its the cheapest! There are people living in units full-time; there are homeless people out back. The tub didn't drain; the non-smoking room smelled like smoke; the carpet and curtains are disgusting. My advice stay away and go to another motel or hotel - pay the difference. I won't be back for a third stay!!

Most of the listed amenities do not work. Vending machines don’t work, ice machine doesn’t work, WiFi doesn’t work, TV remote doesn’t work, no breakfast, etc. The furniture in my room is broken and downright disgusting. This place looks like it’s never been cleaned before. Over $100/night for a dirty room, I should get a refund if nothing here works. The younger guy at the front desk was nice, but the rest of the staff was incredibly rude.

Room phone not in operation. Pool was dirty with bugs in it. Made reservation for 4 people and the room only had 2 wash clothes. Tv kept going on and off. I've stayed there serval times but the last few were substandard

This motel is fairly unique in that it has two indoor pools and a hot tub open to guests. We used the hot tub and it was nice. The rooms are a bit outdated but clean, and I liked that the continental breakfast included a waffle maker. We would stay here again. Not fancy but budget friendly.

Customer service was very nice and helpful. The access was easy to find. The room had two queens clean sheets and clean bathroom. But there was a strong unbearable stinky smell. We couldn’t open windows cause it was broken latch on one side and other couldn’t move. The air conditioner work but made smell worse cause of humidity.

The staff was hard to find and rude. Immediate attitude. I felt like I was in the ghetto. Gross. The room smelled of stale smoke. Breakfast was not ready at 6:30AM. They seemed short of staff.

I paid for two rooms for me and my son. We had dinner and a show but couldn’t come back here to sleep because of the condition of the rooms. So we checked out and I drove 1 1/2 hours home. We experienced cigarette smoke odor, ants, flies, and multiple carpet stains. My advice is pay the extra money to have a pleasant stay somewhere else.

The pools, the hot tub and the sauna were excellent, and this was my main reason for choosing this motel. Staff were very nice both at the pool facilities and at breakfast (which included pancakes and was very decent). However, the room I was in, which was very dated, had a carpet that stunk of old cigarette from the 1980s. It was such a disappointment. Bed was clean, bathroom was clean, but the stench meant that I had to sleep with open windows and fan on for a chance to cope.

The first issue I had was that the manager was not on duty. The was a very small sign at the desk that said I should call this number. They were "out around the property". Was 10 minutes until anyone showed up. Virtually the same issue to check out. Breakfast was all carbs( bread, bagel, cereal, waffles) or an apple. By the way, it was only 9 at night when I checked in and only 9:45 am when we left in the morning. The room was clean and comfortable. This place as a whole needs a good make over but when I'm traveling, this place was serviceable. It was clean, good bed, hot shower and no bugs. I don't ever factor breakfast into the equation. Since COVID, so many places don't even have what I listed above. The check in and check out were my biggest gripe

While the staff was courteous and polite the room was a former smoking room that had the same dirty carpet from its smoking era. It smelled terrible. The curtains had the same problem. The pool facilities were quite nice however. It’s also a welfare facility so we were surrounded by permanent residents who live there. Probably would not stay there again.

I got the 1 bedroom suite there. It was very spacious and comfortable. The perfect place if you want to sleep well. The bedding was ultra comfortable and I had everything I needed.
