I usually give a 5 star but one person that worked there was not nice. Everyone there was so beautiful.
We had asked for a
Certain room 6 months ago when we were there and she said no, already booked when it was not l. then someone said you just need to upgrade. They gave me the Info to upgrade but it was already day 4. Not necessary especially in September when the place was not full. I still love the location.

The greatest selling point of Villa Kiin is its proximity to the beach for the price. This is a great family hotel

It was the low season, very humid, and hardley any one else was staying there. Loved it.

We had a very pleasant trip, quiet, full of nature and friendly people. With a little maintenance it would be a dream hotel.

Great place to stay by the beach, clean, great staff, has a small frig and a box safe, I would add a hair drier and hand towels, would change soap and shampoo for a better brand with their name. They offer a free light breakfast (coffee, juice and bread with jelly.

The property is located in front of a beautiful Bay like beach. The staff are friendly, but the hotel could use some repairs. A continental breakfast is offered, and there are some restaurants close to the property.

The property was in a great location, close to shopping and doing, with the prettiest beach. They were doing work on the property, so that was kind of annoying, but the staff- especially the front desk clerk, was great and very helpful. She even gave me her raincoat to use one day when it was pouring rain! Taxis were annoying as well parking right in front of the property, and we couldn’t park our golf cart several times. But overall a great experience.

The property location is very good because of the beach.the property needs to be updated. The problem was 2 new levi shorts and a nice dress were stolen out of our room. We did not ask for cleaning because we were only there 2 days . But someone came in our room and 3 articles of clothes were stolen. We said something and they said they would check their cameras. Really ??? what cameras. There would have to have cameras in the rooms ???

There was bugs in the room on the floor. There is plastic over the ceiling and one night we were woke at 4:00 in the morning hearing screeching and they said it was geckos. If you like The rustic atmosphere that's okay. We did not

Beautiful property close to ocean. Pool was nice but by noon it felt more like a hot tub due to the sun. Difficulties with air conditioning and electric. The front staff was quick to get it fixed. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants food carts and shopping.

Definitely an awesome location, lots of food options in walking distance, the free breakfast you get is coffee and orange and 1 piece of toast! The staff definitely runs on island time! But for the price and the location I would definitely return

This location is perfect for anyone that likes beach front without the all inclusive. Right beside the best snorkeling on north beach and directly across from GURU beach club. Minutes away from great food and drinks. Taco stands pop up close by at the end of the day as well! Rooms clean. Great AC. My only complaint is water pressure is VERY inconsistent. Will be coming back though!

The rooms were super basic and old! The bed was next level awful, from the worn out mattress to the old, stained bedding. I averaged 3 hours of sleep each night! No microwave, WiFi or coffee in room. Bring your own washcloth as you only get a bath towel and floor mat. I spent the last amount of time possible in the room. BUT, the pool & lounge area were great! Beautiful flowers and palm trees, plenty of pool floaties to use. You are right on the beach so that convenience was wonderful! You wake to the waves crashing and sun rising up out of the water. You can't beat the location, if you can just get past the old worn out room.

This hotel is old and outdated and looked dinghy with low lighting. The king bed was clean but the floors, wall and bathroom were not what we expected as far as cleanliness. The water pressure was low. The toilet had issues filling, which took 1 1/2 days to fix. There is no staff on premises and an outside vendor needed to come in and do the repair. The ceiling fan was noisy. There was no WiFi in the rooms. We eventually checked out early and moved to another hotel. We would not recommend staying at this hotel. We had two other couples stay at this hotel during the same week and both had similar experiences and left early and moved to another hotel.

We will be back to this property. The best location on the island. Short walk to dining and shopping. Pristine beaches. You have to plan ahead, bring cups, spoons, water bottles etc, as the only thing offered is a tiny fridge. They do have easy access to water, hot and cold which was very convenient. Thankyou to the staff at Villa kiin for making our stay memorable!

Location was great.Right in front of the beach.Everything was close by.The only downside was the bed was kind of hard and the key was damaged.It was hard to unlock the door.But i git used to it.I would definitely come back

Another nice stay at Villa Kiin. A nice addition would be to have coffee makers in the room and upgrade the fridges to more energy efficient ones in the rooms. Looking forward to our next trip, hopefully staying in one of the new rooms.
Location is the best for proximity to the best beach on Isla.

This was our first (but not last) visit. The location is excellent, just steps to the beach. The pool and gardens are lovely. The staff were helpful.

Nice resort, close to water, beach and snorkeling. Staff is very nice and accomadating. Plenty of cold drinking water, housekeeping, is great, hot water for showers,we have stayed there 3x and will be back

It was new and it has great design. The roof top pool was really nice to look out over the malecón and to the sea. Only suggestion is to have water available in addition to ice on every floor so as not to have so many water bottles used for the environment.

Very run down, staff was non existent but when I did find one she was extremely short with me regarding our room. We paid for a room with private balcony and received a room with a long shared hallway “balcony”

I loved that it was located at the reef part of the ocean. Never had hot water and there was contamt construction and its a adult only resort and there were kids everywhere and the property behind us was so close that everyday we woke up at 6 am to screaming kids in their pool. Not relaxing at all.

We'll return again for our 28th visit to the island over 40 years. Sure it has changed, but the location, weather, people, and atmosphere have an ambiance that can bring a smile to your face.

It's not all inclusive. Nice outdoor setting away from the downtown noise yet within walking distance to dozens of shops, bars and restaurants. Located on a beach lagoon past the ocean break. Great for swimming. easy access to several beaches on the north end where the waves are more prevalent. However, no beach chairs to rent at this hotel. Rooms are older and outdated, mattress was very hard, no dressers, a/c leaked water on wall and floor and into our suitcase. But rooms were cleaned every day. Door was hard to open up all the way. Often had a sewer smell, but so did much of the island. Many places don't allow to flush toilet paper including this hotel. In February, pool was not heated and shaded by many palm trees. All in all, you get what you pay for and this was less expensive than many other places.

Our room was good, the bathroom updated, the only thing there was the water pressure was very low; the bed is firm comfortable, the sheets were a bit rough. The fridge worked great, the balcony view was awesome. The common room could be upgraded just a bit to give guests more options. For our party of 9, we enjoyed it very much.

You can’t beat the location….walk out the lobby and you’re on the beach. Easy walk to many restaurants and shops.

The hotel is basic yet it had great AC, comfortable beds, ceiling fan, friendly staff and we had no problems with hot water or water pressure. The location is fantastic!

Lovely location and great staff. Beds are very hard and need updating, and no wifi in the rooms, but otherwise a very nice stay. 😊
