Older hotel that has been updated. Some updates are of lower quality. The ADA room we reserved listed a walk in shower but only had a tub/shower with a seat provided. No hand rails at all by the toilet to help elderly lift themselves from toilet. Toilet paper mounted on back wall and very hard to reach. The room needs more thought put into it. The rest of the room was fine.

We checked in about 530p on 10/2. I don’t remember the gal’s name but she was a gem and she gave us a great dinner recommendation (Water’s Edge restaurant). Our room was spacious, clean, nicely appointed with a comfortable bed and the bathroom shower was wonderful! Breakfast options were abundant and really good. We’ve been on the road for a week and a half and this property by far is our favorite.

We have a large family so it’s difficult to find accommodating rooms. Room 333 was AMAZING! Two full separate bedrooms living space foyer and bathroom. The AC kept the room nice and cool as well. The pool is outside and in a beautiful setting. Breakfast wasn’t great but it was something.

We had a wonderful stay in Mt. Pleasant while visiting downtown Charleston. It was convenient to the water taxi and the price was right. Good breakfasts, too.

Was very clean, food was good, staff friendly. The air conditioner was loud and hard to regulate temperature.

Terralin and Glenn at the front desk are absolutely amazing employees and human beings. They are both experts in customer relations and I highly recomend this location to anyone coming into the Charleston area.
The entire staff go above and beyond to help make the most enjoyable and comfortable stay while you are visiting. Thank you, Holiday inn in Mount Pleasant.

I picked this hotel off of reviews and it didn’t disappoint. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. I had 2 queens with a desk and chair. I had plenty of plug ins which had been a problem before. There was a place to put my luggage. My personal dislike was that I forgot soap, shampoo and conditioner and they had dove products which wasn’t my favorite. The breakfast was your typical kind bagels toast fake eggs sausage bacon etc. I will definitely stay here again.

Top tier customer service! The check in attendants were friendly and accommodating. Every employee I encountered, had a wonderful demeanor and great attitude. I enjoyed the hospitality from the free freshly baked cookies, to the tasty free breakfast, and the text messages regarding our stay! My room and the hotel itself was clean, modern, and well kept. The bed was comfortable and the rooms were quiet and peaceful. The entire atmosphere was welcoming and inviting. I will definitely book again and recommend.

The kids bed at a horrible noise to it every time u even touched it made a sound. We did report it the next day and they did come and fix it. We were out of bath soap and hand soap on day 2 and they serviced the room but never filled bottles, had to go to front desk at midnight to get soap.
Just frustrating when you pay that kind of money you expect it to be worth it and it wasn’t. We have stayed in better for less money.

The location was great. The breakfast was very good and had variety. The only issue was the daily room service was lacking. We had to go to the front desk twice to get the correct number of towels and bath cloths for our room. We had a two bedroom suite and only one bed was serviced. The staff did replenish the coffee k-cups or the plastic lining for our ice bucket. We have stayed at several Holiday Inn Express and this was the first time we had any complaints. Maybe some additional training is needed. Otherwise we had a great stay and would consider staying here again.

Booked this hotel for a one night stay for work- based on reviews of it being very clean and at a reasonable price. I was fine with the location, room size, service….but the room was not up to my expectations of “clean”. It wasn’t bad, bad, but I think it would deter me from staying here again, despite everything else being ok.
