I have been staying in Le Meridien Qingdao for more than 10 times and everytime has been a pleasure.

The first room we had, the hair dryer was not working and the roof was leaking. The staff was quick to respond and change our room. The second room the battery in the weight person was too low so we couldn't weight our luggage. The quality of an hotel is affected by those small details.

Fantastic. A true five star hotel. I just find it odd that the hotel itself doesn't have a website dedicated to it. The view though was amazing and the the room was luxurious. And of course, having a mall connected to it is as convenient and fun as it sounds.

Very nice centrally located hotel. Public areas as well as the room nicely appointed, all amenities that you would expect from an international 5 star hotel. The only problem is the low level of English proficiency which makes it difficult to order a meal let alone accomplish more complicated tasks. I’m sure they are working hard on improving this.

Always we stay in Le Meridien,Qingdao and everything is ok,except the price which should be reasonable as compared to same standard hotels in the vicinity.

Totally not 5 star rated hotel, would not recomment to anyone. Bathroom did not clean, wifi did not work and hotel front desk asked me for payment even i already paid through orbitz. What a mess!

I had a deluxe double room on prefered guests 19th floor. The room was clean, their provided all the toiletries. There is a club lounge that I had to use to print out some documents. The hotel is just next to a big shopping mall which is very convenient. Overall experience was good

Be sure to get yourself on the Club Floor, mini buffet and drinks are supplied till 22:00. Staff extra nice and not that many loud guests there

Great location hotel for what I needed, right next to the mall as well. The lobby was stunning but a shame the rooms were looking a little worn with a cracked basin and tiles etc, but that didn't really affect my stay. Would have preferred to not have to pay a deposit for the room upon check-in as I had no intention of using the minibar or anything else, it would be a much better system to charge at check-out. Particularly annoying as the deposit was extortionate compared to the room rate..!

Staff could have been a little friendlier but the experience was a very good one. When I say staff, I am primarily speaking of the front desk, everyone was quite gracious and helpful.

This is a brand new, well equipped luxury hotel for business travelers. Located right next to a high class shopping mall with many restaurants, this 5 star hotel is opened for business several months ago. Although it is very easy and cheap to find taxis, but I personally like to stay around the city south where everything is within walking distance.

The Le Meridien Qingdao is a very fine hotel with Artistic luxery design. The service is very good, wonderful gym and pool. The hotel is located right next to a new shopping mall, with many choices of restaurants and even a huge supermarket, Justco. The hotel is a bit away from the happening area, which are mainly along the beach front, however, the taxi is really inexpensive here and there are plenty of them waiting outside the hotel.
A visit to the famous Tsingtao beer factory and walk along the beer street is a pleasant experience. Qingdao is also famous for its seafood. Take a taxi to the 'seafood restaurant street' (i think is Min Jiang road), you can find plenty of nice seafood restaurants there, where you can pick live fish/crabs etc. from the tanks.
