This place is the best in the Dells. Immaculately clean and well maintained. All staff members I encountered were exceptionally friendly. Pools were great. Convenient location in downtown Dells. Will definitely stay again.

I'm fond of older style motor lodges. There was nothing wrong with this one. The one drawback is it is about the furthest from the strip. But that is balanced out by free zoo passes. I rather liked the linens.

Wonderful surprise after days of driving and the limitless attractions in the area , we will be back when we can stay longer !

Price is very reasonable and you get free tickets to the Timbavati Zoo included in that price. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable and go out of their way to make sure your stay goes smoothly.

We were only there for a very short time, but the hotel had a very cozy, retro vibe. Our room was clean, the shower was great and the bed was comfy. No complaints!

Excellent but tight parking. Hotel should ask type of vehicle prior to stay so a full length pickup like mine could have a bigger spot.

I loved the patio that we could sit outside and enjoy company and weather. The pool was great-indoor and outdoor option. The owners were very sweet!!!

Will for sure stay here again. Room was clean. Guy at desk was awesome. I called because we were later than expected and he was so thankful for us doing that and told us multiple times!

Had an excellent stay. Front office staff was very friendly and helpfull when I needed an item I forgot. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Black Hawk Motel is not a huge property with a waterpark, but it has nice indoor and outdoor pools, a whirlpool, and a game room. We really like how clean and well-maintained the property is. We had a designate parking space right by our room, which made loading and unloading easy. The rate was very reasonable for the area and very close to the downtown Dells area. The flowers around the pool area were very pretty. It was nice to be able to open a window or two in our room for fresh air. We received 2 free tickets to the Timbavati Wildlife Park, and enjoyed several hours there. We could see ourselves staying Blackhawk again.

My family used to come up here every Labor Day when we was kids all the way up to young adulthood. It’s good to see how well the motel held up through the changes. Still my favorite.

We had our annual trip to the Dells, first time staying at the Blackhawk for myself, but definately not the last. Indoor pool was wonderful, rooms were clean, parking lot was well lit, office people were very friendly and helpful. It was a great experience for my whole group. Thanks!!

The vending machines were out of a few things, but there is a gas station close by. The property was clean. It wvent uses keys not electronic key cards. Loved the oud school feel to such a nice motel. Can't wait to go back.

Will stay here again. The room here was cleaner then a $420 a night at The Stanley hotel (from The shining) Was it modern no but it was clean which is what my 1 concern is. The Tv’s in the room were small but I loved that a Data cleanse was done automatically on the Tv at about 10am so I didn’t have to worry about someone using my Netflix account cause I forgot. Will definitely return

Great place to stay with kids. Play areas plus indoor and outdoor pool. We enjoyed the 2 bedroom cabin. Close to everything. Very nice staff.
