Perfect room, perfect staff.

Loved it.

Excellent on site restaurant. Convenient to major museums. Tons of character. Air conditioning in one of our two rooms was not working. The problem was not addressed for two days. This was a problem because the temperatures were close to 40 Celsius during the day. At any other property, we would have been comped in some way. We were not. Disappointing and a let down for a world class property.

This is a lovely historic building that has beautifully restored. Very unique and close to museum and Fort. Our air conditioning did not work and it was a very hot day. Made for an unpleasant night

The hotel did not meet the standards they advertised.

Beautifully restored property. It seemed a bit soulless, but still very much worth the visit. As a recommendation the team could tell the first time guests about the building , the area and try create more athmosphere and offer more of an experience. But definately highly recommend it!!

Had an unexpected day in Ankara due to a flight cancellation, and chose this hotel as located in old city near castle. Beautiful building, well located, very nice rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast was wonderful, with an amazing view over the city from the terrace. This has ended up being an enjoyable diversion rather than a hassle, in large part due to the quality of this boutique hotel. Would definitely stay again if in Ankara.

Wonderful, historic building impeccable maintained

Incredible facility, right in the heart of the old city. Castle at your door step, could not have asked for a better place to stay!

The sheets were not very clean., staff needs to put more attention., I did noticed too late after I expend the night there., very disappointed.

Great room - one of just 19 rooms on the property. Very personable hotel staff. They graciously let us stash our bags while we visited a nearby museum and wait around a bit for a late flight. Restaurant staff wasn’t as personable, but still decent.

The staff was extremely kind, professional and helpful! The property was very clean and well maintained! One of the nicest properties that we have stayed in for a long time! Thank you!

Everything was truly great except for the pillows!!! Much too soft . We should have a choice. We doubled up on these soft pillows and still got a stiff neck. The hotel is in great location and we really enjoyed our stay.

This was one of the most charming hotels I've ever stayed in. Along with the character was the utilitarian, where every detail for comfort in the rooms was considered and well-planned.

We absolutely love this hotel! It feels like a miracle. The location is very safe, the rooms are amazing – almost like being in a museum. We had breakfast, and it was delicious! A big thanks to the staff; they were incredibly helpful and made our stay even better!

Unique space near the castle with access to the museums and beautiful overlook of the city.

This is a beautiful hotel located in a renovated caravanserai, in the oldest part of Ankara, next to the Citadel, and very near the Museum of Anatolian Civilization. The building is very well maintained, and really gives a sense of the past. My room was lovely. It looked out on the street, which can be a little busy during the day and has occasional barking dogs at night. (I asked for another more secluded room looking away from the street but was told these were only suites). But the street is quiet past 8pm and the dogs are not loud :) I am a light sleeper but the street did not bother me at night. I don't believe I received a special VIP treatment (Expedia's claim) but I was treated very well and I really recommend this hotel.

Located in the historic old city of Ankara, and it is among the most beautiful boutique hotels of the world. The best location to stay in this beautiful and historic city. Would stay there again for sure.

Amazing hotel with excellent service This hotel was once a saray( small palace) built in the 16th century Amazing authentic place very clean, the service is superb, the food very generous and delicious. There is a museum in the hotel that covers wide range of old ventures with so many different different articrafts Amazing pieces The ambiance is Amazing the staff extremely helpful

This was one of the most amazing and unique places we have ever stayed..... and we travel a lot. The staff are so friendly and went the extra mile to help us out on numerous occasions. Also, amazing signature cocktails from the bar terrace.

Simply the best hotel in Ankara. Historik building beautiful renovated, beautiful rooms with special antique decoration … wonderfull. Staf very very friendly, do everything for you even the impossible. Restaurant… my god what a food !!! İ have been in 3 stars Michelin restaurants all over the world … this is definetly 1 star … almost 2 stars Michelin for a small price !!! Perfect hotel !!!

Unique property ideally situated on a hilltop next to the Ankara Castle. Plenty of restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Short taxi ride (50TL) to Anitkabir. Great service at reasonable price.

This is a beautiful hotel and perhaps and nicest in Ankara. The caravanserai concept has been very well executed and of course the site in authentic. The public areas are very pleasing and the bar and restaurant. Rooms and ensuite and lobby are comfortable and well equipped with wifi fast enough for v/c. Position is superb and staff attentive without subservience. Service is outstanding. A benchmark against which the others can be measured but at the same price as other blander offerings. Highly recommended

The hotel was very beautiful and made the most of the theme of a caravan stop. The room was very comfortable and had lovely decorations. The bathroom was very elaborate, with a big tub, shower, and two sinks. The restaurant which served breakfast was delicious and had a spectacular view. The hotel is just across from the castle and a few minutes walk from the Anatolian Museum.

The property was impressive and the staff very sweet. It has a lot of character and the terrace restaurant is amazing. Turkish breakfast was incredible! It is located at the top of the historic district and with access to the old town. Very nice experience overall!

This hotel surpassed our expectations! It is breathtakingly beautiful and historic. This was our second time staying at this hotel. The breakfast was great too with so much attention to details. The staff was great and so helpful. Will definitely be going back the next time we are in Ankara.

Beautiful rooms with unique decor, a kitchen with an outstanding chef. What makes this hotel shine, though, is the kindness of its staff. I had a fever and needed to seek treatment at a hospital (a daunting prospect for a non-Turkish speaker traveling alone). The front-desk supervisor took me there and stayed with me through the whole process. As I was recovering, the housekeeping and room service staff brightened my days with their smiles and nurtured my baby Turkish conversations. May all their days be long and prosperous.
