Great hotel with perfect location. We had a large family room with extra bed. Friendly reception and they gave us a room so early that we could rest and leave luggage behind before the stroll in the city.

We lucked out booking Catalonia Atocha. Very centrally located so walking distance to the subway and many attractions and restaurants. The breakfast at the hotel is great and well worth it.

Great location. Metro almost in the hotel. Madrid requires making a change or two to get to some of the attractions but after first try, no problems. This was not a touristic neighberhood. So we had to get the hang of basic Spanish but boy did we have fun. The restaurente we ate at practically made us family. Hotel of course had multilingual staff and were very helpful.

We were in a brand new room, and its was fantastic, lovely furnishings, huge and also very quiet, and a super comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. The staff were great and super helpful all over the hotel.
The breakfast is FANTASTIC!! and well worth including and there are also, multiple roof terraces for you to enjoy with a drink. Would definatly return.

Love this as an economic option but the rooms are truly beautiful and clean. Staff is wonderful and accommodating as well. Due to a flight cancellation, we arrived a day late and they didn’t charge us for the night we missed even though we were past our free cancellation deadline. And another perk is the on-site spa. Small but mighty and so convenient for a quick massage after a transatlantic flight to get you back on your feet.

Friendly staff and bar service on roof top. Good central hotel- pool is very shallow & small.. it was fine to sit or dip in to cool down..good tea/coffee facilities.. comfortable bed. I rated cleanliness low as i found several hairs across the cups on the table.

An amazing hotel with amazing staff. The breakfast bar was massive and always clean and prepared. Wine was optional in the morning if it was that kind of day. lol.

We booked a Junior Suite and received a free upgrade to a room with a small pool which was amazing considering the warm temperatures during our stay.
Room was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable, with nice big shower which made our stay perfect.
Only negative was trying to turn off a pool light at night and in the end had to close the blinds so we could sleep.

Excellent hotel, the people are fantastic. The room is very nice and haves all the amenities. Excellent service at front desk, restaurant . At the restaurant the food is delicious and the staff service is excellent.

A brilliant hotel with great staff. Rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel is conveniently located near Lavapiés and La Latina. Reception staff were really helpful with booking tours and Pedro was also great in helping me liaise with Vueling who lost my luggage. The rooftop pool was lovely and pool staff Spyros and Andres were so friendly. We had a great stay here.

I stayed at this hotel with my daughter as a birthday surprise and we had a fantastic time, all the staff were very friendly and approachable.
Rooms were really nice and cleaned daily.
There’s a very small pool on the roof for a dip to cool down from the gorgeous sun & a small bar if you fancy a drink.
It’s also in a good spot to see the sights of Madrid.
Would definitely stay here again.

I’ve stayed here two times now and my recommendation is to upgrade to the deluxe. The standard room is dark and dingy and I had to change rooms because my room smelt of cigarettes. Trust me pay that little bit extra to avoid the standard room.

It is a great location and very nice hotel! The pool is tiny though and when there is a full house it feels more like a bathtub than anything else. The one room I was in was tiny in comparison to the other one where I paid the same price. Overall though it was great!

Beautiful suite! The private balcony and jacuzzi definitely made the experience that much more enjoyable! Super relaxing and they also have a nice terrace and rooftop pool/bar area.

This hotel was nice, good for 1 night. I probably wouldn’t choose to stay here for more than 2-3 nights because the room is small and the AC never got down to the temperature I set it at. The quality of the room was fine, nothing spectacular but it was comfortable. The pillows weren’t flat pancakes which was a big plus for me! I was charged twice upon arriving, one of which is being refunded…

Amazing decision. My first time in Madrid we stayed at the Catalonia Gran Via and it was awesome! This time we chose this one and it was equally amazing or even more. The staff, Ysabel?, at the front desk made my day and week. The area is close to everything and it’s around a part of Madrid that everyone should experience. Train station is 5 minutes drive. Loved it.

The property is good. Best for anyone traveling for work/business that doesn’t plan to do as much sightseeing. It is fairly far away from most shopping, dining, and attractions.

I would stay here again! Its in the centre of everything. Walking distance to Plaza Mayor which was pur favorite place to go. Close to Metro. Staff were friendly. The only negative tbing i would say is the bathroom tires were lose. Aside from that it was a great stay.

2 rooms. 2 adults 4 children. European vacation. Walkable to train station, Plaza Mayor & all tour meeting points. Short taxi or subway to airport. Friendly, helpful staff spoke excellent English and offered many dining and sightseeing suggestions. Sun deck was comfortable…but BYOB.
