My wife and I love classic B&B’s ….. we were visiting Cape May very short weekend getaway. Angel Of The Sea was absolutely the perfect fit for us. Iconic. Welcoming. Comfy. Half a block from the water with a view of the Atlantic. Totally awesome!! And the breakfasts, Tea Times, and Wine & Cheese tastings were absolutely delicious!

Celebrated our 32nd anniversary in late September. Really enjoyed our stay. Hotel was beautiful, staff amazing and helpful. Free breakfast each morning was great along with afternoon tea and wine and cheese at 5. Our only complaint was we stayed in Room 28 and the shower was broken so difficult trying to shower. Did mention when we checked out and we were informed they are fixing it.

I liked this quaint, beautiful & colorful Victorian
B & B with the best breakfasts in town!! Lovely high tea with "crumpets" & happy hour to follow each day!! Very close to the beach & a hop skip & a jump to the Cape May ferry! Would highly recommend & would come back again!! Friendly & very accommodating staff!

I booked here on a weekend getaway as a gift for my girlfriend’s birthday. It is very close to the beach with a 2 minute walk to the closest beach entrance, the amenities were great, we loved using the bikes to get to the main shopping and dining area and loved using the chairs on the beach. (Both are provided free of charge) our room was very clean and had AC. Overall we would come back here and stay in the future

Our experience was very disappointing. Since there was no elevator, I requested a room on the first or second floor since we are both seniors. We were given a small room on the third floor which meant we had to walk 6 flights in all to go downstairs and then up- we did not take advantage of the afternoon tea or evening wine and cheese because it was too much climbing of the stairs. Although the room was immaculate it was very small and had only one chair to sit on. The breakfast was tasty but was not the buffet that was pictured in the advertising. This trip was for a big anniversary and we left after one night- memorable but in the most negative way-

What a beautiful Bed & Breakfast!!! A close proximity to beach, delicious and wide spread of breakfast every morning, the staff is very friendly. We had a peaceful stay here. Can't wait to come back!

Staff was considerate, informative and knowledgeable, Mark was great during check in, Shane was very cordial and new answers to all of our questions, Patrick was exceptional and engaging, and today we met Kimber and she has a great personality, the whole experience was top notch and we will definitely be back!!!

Great place 3rd time we stayed. Room and bed terrific but they should have vacuumed under the bed. It was littered and dirty

The staff was attentive and kind. The breakfast was amazing and I loved the atmosphere of tea time. Overall an amazing place to stay. They have beach chairs, umbrellas and towels and bikes. You are right across from the beach, away from a lot of the downtown chaos. I would highly recommend.

Quiet street right across from ocean. Wonderful breakfast with many options. Afternoon tea and wine and cheese, served in afternoon. Bikes are available to ride into town .. very historic building adds to ambience.. make sure you hike the walking trails by lighthouse and go to Higbee Beach. Trails are in that area too (bring chairs from hotel) for beach relaxation … too many restaurants to choose. All were excellent ..

I enjoyed everything about The Angel of the Sea. The rooms were cozy and clean. The service was excellent. The breakfast was outstanding! I will definitely return in the future.

This place is the best Bed and Breakfast ever. It would be hard to beat them or even equal them. People who want to start or are now running a bed B&B should stay here to see how it is done properly. Place has a lot of charm, service is excellent. The staff really knows how to make you feel special. We will return there in the future,

Was there to check on our place at Cape Island. Unfortunately, my wife's 100 year old father passed away that evening. The breakfast was very good. The best of any B&B we had stayed in. The winter price was very good for a B&B in Cape May.

The staff was outstanding; always pleasant, welcoming and ready to assist with any questions.
The breakfast was great with plenty of variety of homemade foods.
The pleasant surprise for us was the afternoon tea and the early evening wine and cheese.

Everything was good except the 3rd floor was extremely hot. We did not have a thermostat to turn down the heat. Sleeping that night, we had to turn the ceiling fan on high and we had to open up the windows. The management was closed, and we were out of luck. We would probably not go back.

My husband and i loved the hotel and staff. The facility is old so we were not surprised when some of the fixtures in the bathroom were old. We on the 3rd floor and if we return we will ask for a lower floor. They do not have an elevator and walking to the 3rd fl was a challenge. The bed was too high and we needed a stool to reach the bed and tub in the bathroom because both were too high for us.
The place is very nice and the breakfast and afternoon snacks (with wine) was both great.

Bed was a HUGE king. Unusual wood ceiling. Plenty of hot water. Bed was so comfortable I spend 12 hours in the bed and did not try wine and cheese,or other food options.

Stayed a night at this property around Christmas and had a wonderful time.
The property included bike rentals which we used to bike to the lighthouse and back.

The character of the B&B made me feel like I stepped back in time. It was quaint and peaceful and lovely. The breakfast, afternoon tea and evening wine and cheese was really lovely and gave us the opportunity to relax and meet other travelers. The staff was excellent and so friendly, I really did feel like our visit was appreciated.

Delicious full breakfast in the morning, tea and sweets at 4:00 and wine and antipasti in the evening are worth the price alone. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Very clean.

This was a delightful stop on our way south for Thanksgiving. A real Victorian experience, with afternoon tea, then later wine and cheese, and in the morning a delightful cooked breakfast all included. A contrast to the usual cookie cutter motels. The staff were friendly and gracious. We loved it.
