We stay at this hotel a few times a year. Needless to say we stay here because we love this hotel. The staff is absolutely amazing, welcoming and warm. Each stay feels like coming to visit really close friends. Hotel is clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Beds are super comfy which is a must for me. Great breakfast. Parking on site available. Easy to get around. If you stay here you will not regret it you will fall in love with this place like we did many years ago. Thank you to all hotel staff for yet another great stay with you!

This hotel is a perfect couples getaway and has everything that you need! Nice rooms in a modern casona, we enjoyed a Great indoor jacuzzi in our room, outdoor pool and bar, close to everything. The staff are all professional and friendly. Great communication and reasonably priced.

Centrally located and comfortable hotel with helpful staff. The water in the outdoor hot tub was tepid and green, not exactly inviting.

Nice, comfortable hotel very close to the old part of Santillana Del Mar and the Altimira Caves. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. A good choice if you’re visiting the area.

This adult only hotel is exactly what we needed after a week of discovering the north of Spain. A boutique style exclusive with jacuzzi inside room to relax. Very clean, comfortable and breakfast was excellent and varied selection with choice to order eggs or french toast included in buffet. Highly recommend.

We chose a quiet time to travel so found the hotel quiet but exuberantly decorating for Christmas; it’s easy to imagine the fun here in warm weather!

We had a fabulous stay at hotel Cuevas in Santillana del Mar. The front desc staff and the staff throughout the hotel was very friendly and helpful. They anticipated our every need providing warm blanket to sit outside in the cool evening to making gluten free bread for breakfast. Ivan was exceptionally friendly and we enjoyed conversing with him. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The room is modern and the beds are very comfortable. You will need for nothing at this hotel. Additionally hotel in within a stone throw away from the historic part of the village of Santillana del Mar. If you feel like exploring further the hotel offers free bikes. We would defiantly recommend this hotel.

Fabulous hotel, staff are lovely and attentive, rooms are spacious bright and clean, hotel parking available and cheap, also on street parking around, little details of this hotel make it special, we came in Nov and stayed longer than planned as it was just the right place to come back to after exploring the area by car as it was a perfect base

Great accommodations in most charming town! Hotel is new and comfortable with eating/bar on site. Super easy parking/hotel access. A short and lovely walk to classic stone streets and restaurants/shops. A great overnight stay on car trip through Spain.

Amazing hotel one of the best we have stayed in

Beautiful newly renovated hotel, we loved the wall covered with vegitation. The room was very clean and had everything you need, comfortable bed and very big bathroom. Hotel is a few minutes walk from old town. The receptionist helped us to make dinner reservation to a recommended restaurant, breakfast was good and on checkout we were given a bag with water and cookies for the road. We had a wonderful stay and will definatly stay again.

The decor was amazing - great building and unusual style. Really different and fun. Comfy, fantastic to have the jacuzzi bath in the room. Lovely friendly staff and a great experience overall, in a beautiful place. Delicious breakfast, too!

Hotel Cuevas was our standout hotel experience of our trip to Spain in July. The service was excellent, staff were so friendly and welcoming. The hotel decor is just stunning and quirky which is refreshing. The outdoor pool area and bar in the converted VW were gorgeous. We loved the welcome drink on check in and loved the travel bags to take for our onwards journey, very thoughtful and appreciated. We recommend this hotel highly and only wish we had stayed longer.

I stayed here whilst on a business trip, I found the hotel by chance as previously I had stayed in Torrelavega. A few weeks later I stayed again, they knew me as I walked in by name, and the staff in the restaurant remembered me aswell. Not to mention being given a gift when I left, a couple of bottles of water and some chocolate biscuits, in a hotel branded bag. I have stayed in hundreds and hundreds of hotels from premier inns, to Hilton’s and Marriotts. This by far was the most personal experience, and is the first hotel I have thought to myself, ‘I will be bringing my partner here’. And that is exactly what I’m planning to do. I cannot give the hotel more praise.

Hotel Cuevas is a modern, minimalist, elegantly furnished hotel. The hotel staff goes above an beyond to serve its clients. The restaurant food was great. Though we did not used the outdoor facilities they look impressive. It’s a few steps from the Santillana Del Mar shopping area and 3 min drive to Altamira Museum. We really enjoyed two days there and would love to return soon!
