This was my third time at Rokeby, and the place never disappoints. The hospitality is superb. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway, this is your go to place.

It is an old manor , rustic , unique charm. Located at Landour away from chaotic Massourie. Lot of greenery and at a elevation of 7000 feet

This is one of the best places to stay in Mussoorie.

It’s a vintage property. The view is quite good from the room that I have stayed in. A single bed was provided even though a twin bed was requested.

Serenity, homely and courteous staff, excellent food at Emily's and lavish stay at the log cabin - couldn't have asked for a better getaway - when in landour, rokeby is the only choice!

Old world charm beeming. View from the tea terrace was exquisite and rooms were comfortable and warm . Staff were friendly and helpful. Emily restaurant was excellent. It snowed and the transport desk helped to Ensure that we met up with our hired transport further down the hill. Well done and great job Rokeby Manor!

Rokeby manor is an old British Manor house converted into a hotel. A cozy place with fire places and wooden flooring. It oozez old world charm and is maintained well. Staff is polite and helpful. Food is really good and portions huge. Additional attraction is a well stocked library near reception. On a cold, windy evening, one could curl up on the sofas in front of a fire with a favorite book or magazine.

Excellent surroundings. Very courteous staff and attentive to the comfort of guests. Thoroughly loved the serenity and peace that one rarely finds these days. Food is absolutely fantastic. Has a distinct old-world charm thats unforgettable

The hotel is massively over-priced for the quality of the rooms. It appears to cater for an indian clientelle that will pay any price for a small slice of England. My advice would be simple. Save up a fraction more and visit england. Despite the huge cost (£200 a night) the rooms are unremarkable and place is so so noisy. We had a security guard pacing above us on wooden floodboards throughout the nihht. Generators beeping at night and the beds creaked incessantly. The room we were given was sandwiched between the car park and a common living room where other guests are allowed to stay up late watching tv. I cant think of a worse nights sleep I've ever had. I've got another 3 nights booked and I'm fearful as to what i am going to do. A Massive Massive mistake! Do not book here go to a recognised branded hotel chain.

Everyone was so friendly, kind and welcoming. I was fortunate enough to be there for Winter line (look it up - words and pictures will do it no justice). I checked in and got right my room. It was a single. Although small, it was perfect! Everything that you need, cozy, clean and very functional for a small space. The bed was super comfy - I have a tempurpedic at home, so I tend to be a bed snob. The bathroom was clean and large with a heater. The room had a heater too, which is a must and not all places have heat since it’s obly cold for such a short time. The Goodnight cookies delivered to the room nightly was reason enough for me to prioritize going back. Have room service bring you a chai with them, grab your book and life can not get much better. It comes with a buffet breakfast that is not a buffet breakfast...it’s so much more! I had omelettes every morning and they had all ththe fixings. Don’t pass on the hash brown looking thing that has just the right spices. I need to know how to make those. Longest I had to wait for a ride was maybe 15 minutes and taxi fares was reasonable. They had cold medicine at the front desk when my daughter visited and wasn’t feeling well. And even asked how she was feeling the next day. They really made you feel at home. Their restaurant, Emily’s was some of the best food I had in India.

Location 5, room 4, staff's professionalism, capacity to serve in a timely manner and hotel policies 3. Some arrogance, taken for granted, feel of past grandeur and gap between true level of hotel (this would be a a or 3.5 star hotel in most regions of the world) and perception (acting with 5 star forced deference). Nickel and diming as well, charging for extras at every possible chance.

Rokeby has charm, breathtaking views, great service and staff with very special dining experience at Emilys on the top floor. The setting was perfect, the rustic accommodations were always comfortable and the cost certainly reasonable. I d book again!

Peaceful, awesome staff, well maintained, perfect in every way. Would comeback in a heartbeat. Lovely garden and seating area, excellent food, great access to walks.
