Stayed 17 to 21 Nov on 11th floor. Great hotel and excellent customer service from all customer facing staff. My room needs a refresh though as room was a bit worn , some wood varnish , a lick of paint perhaps but after I stayed the first evening it felt like home. The staff are excellent and genuinely friendly and hardworking and I recommend you use their rooftop bar- fabulous views and the food is of high quality and very affordable - I dined there every night. My only ONE negative point is my booking came with an in-room safe but there was none when I checked in. After I rang reception they said the room came with no safe but when I explained I booked with one, she promptly sent a maintenance manager and two other people carrying a safe to my room. It wasn’t secured to anything but I used it to store my papers etc. my only suggestion is for the hotel to permanently screw in the safe to the furniture. To get around Cebu use the Grab taxi app or ask concierge and they will flag a car for you. The breakfasts were great. I will stay at the hotel again if I revisit Cebu . I’m giving them 9/10 - knocking off 1 point for the issue at check in with the lack of a Safe which should have been there as per my booking.

Its a very nice hotel. Itd be better if the shower was hotter and the rooms seem a bit old. However its only 4 blocks from Ayala. Its close to I.T. Park. Mango square is only about 70 pesos taci ride. The bed was super comfortable and the air con unit was awesome in the room.

A nice room, clean, friendly staff, loved the breakfast choices. Great coffee! Had some problems with the toilet not flushing, but they fixed this quickly for us. Highly recommend

We had anan awsome time at the Harold hotel. We stayed for 8 days and the staff were amazing. We would definitely go back on our next trip to the Harlod.

Great hotel! The staff is the highlight as they are friendly, professional, and helpful. I walked most everywhere and felt safe day and night. Clean property and a great rooftop restaurant with a view of the city. Highly recommend.

We stayed in a suite for two nights and it was exceptional thr experience. Friendly staff, spacious toom and super comfy bed. The only downside is the water is not quite hot, so we weren't able to take a hot bath after an exhausting day.

Everyone was courteous and accomodating.Our room had a small leakage from the ceiling and the toilet was not flushing,my husband had to fix it so the water will fill up. Shower curtain was filthy.. Rooftop restaurant's food was a disappointment. However the supervisor that I've talked to about these issues was very attentive and thankful for the feedback.

Booked the property late in the evening with 2kids, infant and a toddler, they accommodated us promptly. We came from a long flight and got disappointed with our original booking from other hotel. Harolds evotel was a life saver at the time with our 2 kids. The room was very clean and spacious especially for our toddler who liked to move around. Staff were accommodating, and helpful that made our booking and stay smoothly. Thank you Harolds Evotel for making our last days of stay in Cebu relaxing.

The staff was as helpful as any place I have stayed in the Philippines. The rooftop restaurant and bar have limited food options, but the one meal we had there was very good, with excellent service. The breakfast buffet was also limited and some of the food was cold. The rooms were good.

The water was not hot and even after we informed them about it, it was not that hot, also the bath is very smooth and I also slid without soap and miraculously nothing happened to me.

I had an OKAY stay at Harold’s. What really disappointed me is the phone in my executive suite could not reach in room dining room service for some reason. The first night I was there I had to go to the restaurant to place an order in person because my phone didn’t work. It was frustrating. Also I was letdown that the tourist area in Cebu (Mango square) was 45 mins to an hour from the beach. I probably won’t be visiting Cebu again due to the travel distance from the beaches.

Generally fine for the price range but there were two items that were non-negotionables for me. Towels were very old to the point where they looked gray instead of white. Idk how sanitary they were it was hard to tell. Also hotel staff did not replace them every day. Additionally there was an extremely foul smell like sulfur coming from the elevator and lobby that could have been due to maintenance. Definitely a budget hotel for those who withstand those items but I’d personally look for other properties.

Had an awesome stay at Harold Evotel. We stayed 4 nights at the suite room and find it very comfortable, quiet and spacious for 3 people. They provide most toiletries from razors, toothbrushes to cotton buds which i find very helpful when traveling.AC works well. Room well lit when needed with couple of full body mirrors Located in a very convenient location and walkable to ayala mall. Taxis readily available. Staff were all extremely helpful. Special mention to Honey Jade-Reservations Assistant who’s been very prompt in answering emails for all my questions. Breakfast buffet was delicious with very courteous and attentive staff with manager I believe checking if everything is okay. I can’t remember their names but I can’t single out as they were all very attentive. Front desk staff, bell man very all very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel staff were very friendly and the morning buffet was really good. Bed was lovely. I slept like a baby. The only issue that i had was with the bathroom sink. Very little water pressure...i thought it might stop altogether. Which is weird, because the pressure in the shower was great.

The hotel restaurant serves the best breakfast buffet in all of Cebu City. I can't say enough good things about it.
The rooms are nice and the staff is friendly and helpful.
My only complaint is that the showers are have luke-warm water at best. Even after a maintenane guy supposedly worked on it, the showers were still cold. This happened during two different stays, 2 months apart, and when I asked other guests, they reported cold showers as well. The staff do not seem to understand that westerners expect actual hot water, not just tepid water.
I hope the management gets the message and fixes the situation.

I return to the Harold’s every time in Cebu City because the beds are so nice , the shower is always very warm and the people are very friendly/helpful !

This was my first time at Harold's.
My initial satisfaction from the beauty of the lobby was short lived.
While this hotel does offer a pleasant experience to it's guest it lacks the basic formalities and service I would expect of a hotel of this calibre.
There was a draft in the room by the window which was irritating at times. I found the cleaning service to be severely lacking. Our first two days our room was not serviced even though we indicated we would like it done. On the occasion they showed up this was around 5pm even though we had been out all day. Furthermore I have stayed in hotels in Europe and Asia and have never had my room inspected before they let me check out. (What clientele are you expecting).
However, that been said the staff were very friendly and polite and I can not fault them furthermore they are immaculately turned out!
Would I stay here again, possibly not. Overall experience 6/10.

Though some places were cut like older furniture, and lighting were dim in some places, overall the property is still managed well. Most importantly, Harold's still maintain a comfortable bed that never fails my expectations.
