It was very average from what I am use to. One person at the front desk for check in (we weren't able to check in until after 4 pm). The towels were not white - several in fact were yellow. The refrigerator was not turned on and smelled awful. There was no ice available on three floors. My room key did not work on one of the side doors and I was told by a guest that the outside scanner for that door was not working. Went to breakfast at 8:30 and food options were very limited. Lighting in the room is very yellow - may need to update light bulbs. Lastly, the lotion container in the bathroom was empty.

Nice clean room, good location.

The room was clean and appeared well kept. There were minor wear and tear that had been fixed but my lamp shade on the desk was damaged and needed to be replaced. The room had accommodations such as coffee, microwave, ice bucket, fridge and kitchen sink. They offered shampoo, soap, lotion and body wash (mine happened to be out). Overall it was a nice place to stay. The on sight restaurant/ bar was convenient. The breakfast was a normal hotel breakfast with eggs, sausage, pancakes, cereal, coffee and pastries. I plan to stay here again for future visits.

Staff were very polite and helpful. Room was disappointing; room door had loose/broken hinges, so we had to pull the door up to get it to close. Our room had a kitchenette, but only three plates and no silverware in the room. The cookware in the room was all still dirty in the dishwasher, and no dish detergent in the room. Could be a great place to stay with a little more care and attention. As it was, though, I would not recommend or stay again.

The hotel is older. I never seen any workers except the front desk and the gal doing breakfast. We got 2 rooms. One looked to be set up well and the other wasnt. The bedding looked clean. The curtains were dirty. The towels looked yellowish. They drfinately need new towels and more of them. We were comfortable and the hotel is quiet. They vould improve on cleanliness and staffing. And breakfast was lack luster but sufficent.

Property was good for the price. The staff from check in the bar/restaurant was very unfriendly. Mixed drink for $10 was excessive.

The bathroom light in our room was out, so the only lighting we had was above the shower. There weren't any towels in the fitness room, but the fitness room was AWESOME! The room was very nice and we loved the refrigerator freezer in our room.

The gal that checked us in didn't seem to know what she was doing. When the manager came out to assist her, her gestures and eye rolling was very inappropriate. Our room was filthy, the bathroom sink was full of long dark hair,, there was someones leftover food in the refrigerator , floors had not been vacuumed and no phone to call the front desk! Did get moved to the room across the hall and 1/2 the lights did not work but at least it was a bit cleaner! Will not go back there again!

Just ok. The hotel seems like it was really nice at one time but needs some general maintenance and a deep clean. The bad: Our room had finger prints and dust on full length mirror, the microwave front needed to be wiped down, the kitchenette counter had something spilled on it, there was some mildew on the caulk in the shower, the soap dispenser in the shower was empty, the white towels were yellowish and threadbare (the one I used had a hole), the office chair for the desk was broken, the bedsheets were dingy and yellowish, the beds were uncomfortable and one squeaked terribly with the slightest movement. The breakfast was pretty good but wasn’t being restocked at all while I was down there. The good: The price was fair compared to others in the area, the pool area was nice, the hot tub was large, the check in was quick, there was a complimentary drink voucher for the bar, the lobby was expansive and nicely furnished, the elevator was large and the property seemed to be in a nice area. I think with more thorough cleaning, new linens and new mattresses, this hotel would impress.

The marketing ploy of “only one room left” seems quite dishonest. It was clear from the empty parking lot that there were many rooms available. The restaurant and bar were closed likely due to being Sunday and the breakfast was pretty poor. I have stayed at the Astoria many times and have always been happy with the hotel in the past. Also thread bare bath towels need replacing.

Bright and big spacious lobby, larger dining area used for breakfast was great! Bed not so comfortable. I like a thinner pillow and all 3 were fat. Hot tub and pool were open until 11:00 so we could use both! It was more expensive than what we like to pay but better in quality. The couch in the room had several small stains from spills as did the carpet. Very quiet and comfortable for sitting around with friends after a meal. We did not use the free drink tickets but it was a nice gesture.

Very accomodating staff. Front desk assigned fellow travellers to same floor/area upon checkin.

Breakfast was a little disappointing. Otherwise hotel room was clean.

Toilet needed to be fixed because it constantly ran. Went for breakfast at 0800 and no food available besides a few bagels and some cereal. If we were supposed to order at the restaurant that wasn't communicated, just told breakfast in restaurant in the morning. The place is starting to show its age.

King size bed was not very comfortable but shower was great.

I loved that the lobby and waiting areas were gorgeous. I liked how the closet in our room was behind a giant mirror, on the other hand the rest of our room was gross. The caulking in the bathroom was moldy and peeling, the toilet had some stains. The furniture was stained and we had to go buy some febreeze to get rid of a greasy food smell, and there was a lot of food(?) splatters all over the wall by the trash can. All of the bedding was stained. It was as if they did a quick clean after someone had been living there for few months and then gave it to us.

I booked a one-bedroom suite because I was there for a few days, and I work remotely and wanted the kitchen. The room was nice but there was no coffee maker, no microwave, no utensils or dishes and the knobs were taken off the stove. I asked the front desk if I could at least get a coffee maker and they said yes, but never came with it. I paid $195.00 a night and I feel like I should have at least had the amenities I requested.

Room was comfortable and quiet but plumbing needed attention. Faucets ran slow and sinks drained very slow.

Unfortunately the reviews were misleading…. Staff was good… room another story.. mold in the shower, no toilet paper… room looked nothing like pictures posted for this property…. No coffee available … over all lobby needed a massive vacuum…. Not worth the almost $200 rate

The service is first rate and check-in and out was pleasant. They obviously don't use water softeners in their laundry because my linens were very rust stained and not pleasant to look at. The ottoman was absolutely filthy and it's hard to believe any supervisor of housekeeping would allow it to remain in a room in that condition.The box spring under my mattress made this awful groan noise every time I turned over luckily for me once I am asleep I don't toss and turn because it would have wakened me. The room is very well appointed and other than these mentions above it was a nice mid-week stay. I would recommend it for a quiet business travel night. They gave a complimentary drink at check-in and the lobby and bar are nice.

It was ok room very nice. Bathroom terrible lighting. The body wash was completely empty. The girl struggled to check us in. Found out later that we were supposed to get drink tickets when o went to the front desk to get them was told she wouldn’t give me them because I was supposed to get them when check in. Told her I am not a lier. Bar area was very nice

We were in the pet room and it smelled like urine so bad. The chair had poop looking stains on it. It was hard to sleep because of the smell.

I checked into this location Sunday afternoon. I was given a room on the first floor. The hotel was very clean, and appeared in great condition. However, when I got to my room, the lighting, or lack there of, was horrible. I couldn't keep the curtains open because my room faced the parking lot, and anybody could see in. When I looked at the tub to take a bath, a lot of the caulking was molded. Then, at 10:30AM, housekeeping starts BANGING on my door! I was taking a shower. When I got done, I went to the door, the housekeepers were across the hall. I yelled over asking what they wanted. The male housekeeper lied and told me checkout was 10:30AM. I closed my door, and checked my reservation that CLEARLY stated 11:00AM is checkout!
