Such a lovely b&b in a cute little beach town. Free parking, beautiful pool, walking distance to shops, bars, beach & restaurants, ornate lobby & a comfy bed. Oh and a cranking a/c! This place truly exceeded my expectations, only downsides was no in room fridge and the shower was pretty cold. Not surprising for an older hotel, but I could have really used a hot shower to wash the sand & sunscreen away. Hotel also included free breakfast next door and bicycles to ride around town which were a nice touch. Very clean with mature hotel guests and employees. I would love to stay here again.

This is a treasure. We were greeted by the most friendly and fabulous of Riverview. Who knew checking in could be “fun”??!! This darling, historic hotel is a true gem. Walking distance to anything you could want or need. Friendliest staff ever. Our room was spacious and accommodating. The bed was so comfortable. We loved this place so much.

Beautiful hotel …..

After my experience at the Riverview hotel & spa, I was compelled to write a review. Upon first arrival, I thought the property appeared more outdated than I expected, but was pleasantly surprised from the moment we stepped inside of the lobby/ hotel gift shop. It had such quaint elegant charm and it is very well maintained. We had to use the restroom downstairs as we were early so our room was not quite ready. The sugar scrub at the sink was a nice touch 👍. Staff were super accommodating (thanks Nick for the recommendations!) & had our room ready 2.5 hrs earlier than check-in for no extra charge! We were only there for a short 1 night stay to see family who came to town from NC (we are from Tampa Bay) but we used almost every amenity, minus the spa. The pool area is gorgeous and I loved all of the fresh potted plants (it really felt like you were at a resort- the comfy outdoor lounging chairs/ umbrellas made for a great little private shaded area) & we even took a quick ride on the complimentary bikes across the bridge to canal street for the classic car show (they provided bike locks). It was maybe 1.5-2 miles at most I would guess. The local brewery is here (NSB brewery), although we didn’t have time to check it out. We walked the other direction from the hotel down Flagler Ave to the beach & stopped in a bunch of shops and dipped our toes in the sand :) There is a Quiet Flight surf shop ❤️ & you can still drive your car on the beach (for a fee)! Exceeded expectations! 😊

The hotel lobby is really nice! They have super cute gift shop with everything you can think of. The front desk staff are really nice, our toilet wasn’t flushing and got someone in there within 10 minutes to fix. Each room is decorated differently and we loved ours! Traveling with a toddler we need some extra space which we had enough of for him to walk around. The bed was comfortable but the sheets were too thin. There was an extra blanket in the closet. Biggest issue was not having a mini fridge but the front desk let us put our sons milk in their fridge which was so helpful! The mermaid cafe, omg. We loved it - great food options and portions - an added plus. The pool area was really nice - quiet and they provide pool towels. We were able to walk everywhere - all the bars, restaurants, shopping and beach! They also provide great products for the bathroom. We had a great experience and would come back! 😊

Wonderful staff and very cute rooms, but the air conditioning can’t keep up with the summer heat. It was very hot and very loud. There are gaps between the doors and frames that allow you to see the hall and hear everything happening in the lobby and other rooms. There was not enough parking reserved for guests and it was a fight to get a spot every time we returned. The breakfast was very good but we had to wait a full hour for it at a restaurant down the street that was very crowded. Very cute property, but not comfortable.

We were here for a couples getaway. The location is excellent. The service was friendly and welcoming. The room was clean but just small. Pool area was clean and quiet with zen music playing , free breakfast next door is wonderful!

Its a great location on the Intracoastal and a short walk up the shopping street to the beach. I suppose for the area its a good value, although we found our room to be very small.

We were in room 319. Third floor with no elevator. Lugging bags up and down the stairs with no staff help. If you wanted a cup of coffee or go to the pool, you're doing the stairs again. I guess it makes up for no gym LOL. Room 319 is so tight there's nowhere to even put a suite case let alone 2 of them. Maybe 18 inches between the bed and the walls. We moved rooms into 318 which was much better with a nice Balconi. Good things where the pool was not overcrowded, and temp was great. The location is great. This is a 3-star hotel, our second room was fine but and liked the pool, but that is all there is. They do give you breakfast coupons for the Mermaid restaurant next door which was really good. So, al in al if your OK with taking care of yourself and don't want to be in a really busy hotel it's not bad. Met many guest that stay there more than once over a name brand hotel.

If you are looking for a place to stay in New Smyrna Beach - stay here! The hotel was so cute and the staff was so nice. I loved everything about the hotel and room. I highly recommend booking this hotel and you will not want to leave.

The hotel is charming, and quaint and the room was comfortable. you can hear guests coming and going, especially when shutting their room doors. overall, a nice stay for 1 night.

The Riverview Hotel is a lovely boutique hotel. The rooms are small, but cozy and nicely decorated, vintage style. Right next door is The Grille at Riverview. It is a fabulous restaurant with an intracoastal water view and very good service and food. On Fridays and Saturdays, they have super live bands playing. We had so much fun!!

Nicest place I’ve stayed in a long while.. Highly recommend…
