This super cute, cozy, clean cottage has a happy vibe and the most AWESOME view of the ocean!!! We've already planned our next 3 trips. It has EVERYTHING you could need - even measuring spoons if you want to bake. It was very quiet except in the morning on garbage day (Tuesday). The "queen" bed is a small double and not exactly comfortable. For a couple nights, it was fine. We LOVED staying there so much, we don't want to recommend it and not have it available to us. 😉 Just kidding, sort of. EXCELLENT place to stay!

All of the staff from the maintenance gentleman and check in staff were sooooooo courteous and professional. The rental was very clean and homey. A Class act all the way around

First thing, the view is amazing. Definitely one of the best. But honestly that and having a kitchen were the only positives. The room was decently clean, but the floors weren’t very clean and there was a random white spot on the couch. The stove wasn’t deep cleaned either, and a lot of the dishes weren’t very clean. There were a few key kitchen things missing as well that seem essential. Pot holders, a cutting board, tongs, even number of plates/bowls/utensils/etc. There were only 3 pillows on the bed and therefore for the whole place. The room slept 4, which is why I chose it because were a family of 4, but there were zero sheets/blankets/pillows for the pull out bed, which was a huge disappointment. Luckily I had 2 blankets in my car, or we would have been out of luck. There were also no blinds or curtains for the back door, so as soon as the sun came up my kids woke up. The amount of towels in the room also made no sense. There was 3 body towels, 1 hand towel, and 1 wash cloth. I’m glad we were only there for 1 night, as I wouldn’t have been able to handle another night.

I loved this property!! Fantastic location on the ocean. Great view and spacious. Modern bedroom, bathrooms, kitchen and living room. Loved the balcony on the beach. Lovely towels and linens, soaps and shampoos. However...the floor was filthy and needed a good mopping. The kitchen needed the following: cutting board, hot mitts, corkscrew, bottle opener, scissors, wine glasses, more dinner plates (only had one.), more mugs, glasses, bowls. One standing lamp didn't work and the shade was broken. Master bedroom closet light blinked and sometimes didn't work. Bedroom shades and curtains would be better as blackout curtains, due to exterior building stair lights shining into bedroom window.Would book again if the floors were clean and more items in the kitchen.

The staff was incredibly accommodating when there was an issue with my reservation and a family members disability. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were cared for and had a great stay.

Loved watching the sunset from the big windows!

The picture for this property on Hotels.com was of a cottage nearby not the property we reserved. The unit we had was on the third floor. no elevator. View was magnificent and we watched whales swim by. It would have been nice if the property description had told us, it was a third-floor property. Kitchen was minimally stocked. A screen door on the deck would have allowed better air circulation. One was there at one time, but it has been removed. Nice to have two bathrooms. Also, nice to be able to walk to nearby restaurants. Approximately 150 stairs form the beach to the room. This property would not be good for anyone with mobility issues. Still we had a great time and will be back someday.

The captains cottage was cute and fun to stay in. Someone was else’s leftovers were left in the fridge. There were no spare blankets or towels. The blanket on the beds were more like two sheets than an actual blanket or comforter. It was disappointing to have to pay extra to have beach access. I could understand the pool, sort of, but having a beach front property, getting to it should be included in the stay

A condo with a little kitchen, fireplace, and great ocean view. The kitchen wasn't stocked with the top of the line tools and equipment, but it had everything we needed to make some meals and enjoy the relaxing setting with a perfect ocean view!

Great location. Close to Nye beach and restaurants.

Beautiful view of the ocean. Great location for walking access to shops, restaurants and the beach. Disappointed with the lack of extra linens/blankets for the pull out sofa. I would recommend adding binoculars. It can get pretty loud when people are walking around upstairs. Overall it was a great place for a relaxing visit to the ocean.

The 39 stairs

The office staff was great! Housekeeping....sucked. I dont think they cleaned the kitchen/dining at all. Moist crumbs on the couch. Crumbs on the floor, table and counter. Coffee pot had the old filter still in it. Worst of all, there was a towel hanging behind the master bath door. I thought my wife used it. She thought it was mine. It was from the previous guest and we both used it. That warrants some kind of a cash back incentive. That is gross!

We always enjoy our get away to Newport. The condos vary by owner, but all have ocean view - what more can you ask! Try Zach's for innovative cuisine and good wine pairing.

It was confusing where we were staying. The hot tub was being worked on. Paid $15 to use the sister property pool. Room was not ready at 4 or 4:30.....boo
