It was a comfortable stay. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The pool was closed and appeared to need cleaning. The biggest challenge with being in Roswell is that you cannot get around town without a car. There might be one Uber or Lyft for the whole town, but from what I could see, there is no public transportation. Thanks to the kindness of the local people, we were able to get around. I was there on business, and if anyone plans to go to Roswell, NM, they must either rent a car or make sure someone picks them up from the airport. Our plane was late coming into town and landed at 2:00 a.m. There was no ride-sharing or taxis available. It was scary! But thanks to the kindness of one of the residents, they gave my husband and me a ride to the hotel. Overall, our stay was great! Thank you to the residents of Roswell, NM.

Staff was wonderful and room was clean and spacious. But there were MANY problems. No ironing board, no luggage rack, broken table in living room, broken locks on doors, broken hair dryer, broken shelves in both bedrooms, broken drape control, no faceplates on phone so no way to know how to use them. The new shelving units in the closets are horrible. You have to be at least 6'6" to see in the mirror, the shelves and sliding baskets are useless and not having anywhere to put my luggage was very difficult. The bed was so soft that when you sat on it the springs poked you. Why does housekeeping not tell someone when there are things broken in a room? This is my 2nd Marriott BonVoy in a month and both were the same -- clean but VERY poorly maintained. They need to change their system because it is not acceptable. The staff was friendly and somethings got fixed the next day, but not everything. Asked again and some more got fixed but never got a proper working hair dryer.

The pool was dirty, the breakfast was awful. The web site says that rooms are sound proof but in fact it’s very noisy. The web site also says that the facility is pet friendly. Friendly at a cost of $100 non refundable. That is almost as much as the cost of the room. Oh, and by the way, the price is mentioned on the bottom of the web page in fine print. Exact words from the hotel clerk. Since I booked through Expedia if I didn’t stay since I had already paid on line I’d lose my Money. Sounds like a racquet to me. I have a 2lb Yorkie who’s feet never even touched the floor. I won’t be staying at this hotel again. If this is Marriott’s policy I’ll rethink staying at any of their properties in the future

We were not able to get a key, because their encoder did not work. Fortunately it was a quick overnight, but it definitely was a convenience issue.

The accommodations were fantastic! We were asked if we were members in the BonVoy program, no we weren’t. Program was explained and I quickly enrol. Enjoyed a mini apartment feeling, having a full refrigerator w/freezer. Enjoyed eating out for dinner and having the ability to reheat our leftovers. The bed was comfortable. We will look for TownePlace Suites for our future stays.

Great hotel, friendly staf, very clean. This is a wonderful place to stay.

We had booked a handicapped assessable suite with a roll-in shower. When we called the front desk to tell them the refrigerator was non-operational, the clerk, in a rude tone told us the hotel was fully booked, they did not have a spare to bring up and we could not get a discount because we had booked though a 3rd party (we had not asked for a discount She added that little gem on her own) It was not a handicapped accessible room, as booked. No roll-in shower, for example, or higher toilet. The drawers on the dresser were broken and would not close, They protruded into the room, creating a tripping hazard. We had to wedge them shut with a paper wedge. Some hooks on the back of the bathroom door would have been nice. This was a huge disappointment, not up to Marriott standards.

The staff was friendly and polite. Was willing to help with my questions and special requests. The location was in a nice location and easy to get to. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was good. I would stay here again given the opportunity.

Well-maintained hotel. Very clean and pretty! Beds are soft, bathrooms are nice, plenty of amenities. : )

Clean, modern, centrally located, kitchens in rooms which were more like apartments than hotel rooms.

Great Staff and breakfast

This was our first year we had to spend thanksgiving in a hotel since my son was attending a school there. The staff made it seem like we were home. We used the bbq for the turkey and the staff gave us utensils to help cook the food. They were friendly every time we came in and left out. Very clean property and very pet friendly. No issues. Will use them again as they made a lasting impression on my little family.

It was all good. The bathroom layout is not the best.

It is ok. Several parking lot lights are out and need to be fixed. Rooms are clean and feel safe. Lots of noisy music for several hours in early evening.

Nice rooms and staff

The suite was cozy and had everything you could possibly need for an extended stay. Even though we only stayed one night, it was comfortable and clean, and I enjoyed the convenience of guest laundry, which was also very clean and well maintained.

Our stay was great. Whenever back in Roswell we will stay there again.
