The staff was wonderful. The interior was absolutely gross. The room smelt like mold. The people beside us were very loud and the walls were quite thin. We could hear them yelling all evening and morning. The place has never been cleaned beyond the surface level. We inquired about extra bedding and the hotel didn’t have any extra. My spouse had to buy additional bedding at the local department store. This place is running to do the bare minimum until the owners are offered some sort of deal from a land developer. That’s the only reason I can say this place exists. How would I known this? Well looking at the aesthetic the place has never been updated. But in all honesty the worse part was the lack of a locking latch on the door. It simply had the card key lock but no additional locking latch - weird. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The only redeemable aspect of this whole experience was the staff. They were very nice and the front desk lady who checked us in was lovely.

Unfortunately our room had a few issues with leftover litter on the balcony and in a couple of cupboards however the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable - good shower. Apparently the vast majority of clients are repeats which accounts for the casual check in. Nice location - good price. We would stay again.

Amazing space and view

Check-in was slow and searchy. When we did get our keys we found our room to be an unmade mess. Went back to office and no one was there. Had to make a phone call from the desk phone which had a note basically saying "use this phone when no one is here" so I guess this is frequent. Told staff what had happened and they said it will be dealt with. I had to wait a long time for some one to come back to the office. After listening to a longish debate about how to resolve this the end result was an upgrade which was very nice as this was an anniversary trip. So kudo's for that. Got down to the included breakfast late so I didn't see a whole lot but the eggs and sausages were great. We had looked at this property for awhile eagerly wanting to try it but the room was a tad tired.

Room was not clean. Check in delayed. Little English spoken. Bed overly soft and pillows lousy. No soap/conditioner/shampoo in the shower dispenser. Will not stay there again.

A little bit older but very clean and great secure parking. Lots of room, nice little kitchenette with everything. Definitely would stay again.

Probably the worse room i have ever slept in. The front desk checkin was awful, i called and told them my key didnt work and door wouldnt shut and they hung up on me. Carpet looked like it was 50 years old and has never been cleaned. Could hear neighbour rooms conversations as if there were no walla, and could not sleep due to drunk lady singing on the balcony till 3am.

Felt safe, friendly staff, nice breakfast.

A nice, clean hotel, beautiful views. Nice staff and good location. Interestingly I selected pay at property but the money was taken from my card the day before I arrived, which was a bit annoying as I wanted to use a different card from the one stored on hotels.com.

Average motel. Decent breakfast. Directly across from beach so a nice view. Needs updating. Bed was comfortable.

We liked the central location and the ease of check in late. But there is limited onsite parking and breakfast starts at 9 on weekends . Liked the deer we saw out back and close to beach/walks and loved the suite.. was like a mini apartment. In all an enjoyable stay and would recommend to families thanks

Very pleasant check-in. Very clean room.

The decor is dated but bed was comfortable and room was clean. We arrived later in the evening and lobby area closed but eventually connected with someone to give us an entry key to the room. Breakfast was good although not available until 9am on Sunday so crowded as everyone arrived at once. The food was replenished and hot.

The person at front desk barely spoke english, room only has patio door with no screen, room was too hot but not possible to open the party door because of absence of screen and noise of the road

Nice hotel with good setup for 4. Murphy bed was comfortable. Sheets were not clean which is not a great surprise. Kitchen was minimally supplied but very convenient. Breakfast basic. Did not know there was an elevator as it is located on opposite side of car park and staff vanished as we were checking in after 9. No room clean up or towel replacenent. No trash bags so had to hunt down staff as garbage was overflowing. Mostly good but not fancy.

Its vey spacious and comfortable. Great location and delicious breakfast. The check in was a bit challenging as there was no one at the desk for quite some time. But Wlwe'll be back!

Wonderful bed!! Great sized room.

We were late arrival but the key access information was readily available. The breakfast that was included was very substantial.

the room was very spacious(actually a suite)..thats where the joy ended...must have been a pet friendy room,(we did not have a pet)..smelled like wet dog...bed coverings had some stains, there were a couple of fans that looked like they wernt clean all year.so much dust . i didnt dare turn them on, i put them in a closet...underground parking was nice, untill we wanted to leave early on the last morning..overhead door was locked and could not open it...office was to suppose to open at 7:30 am...no one there, had to call staff to open door got out finally at 8:00 am...will not stay there again...and no recomendations from me

Perfectly acceptable option in Campbell River. Nothing too flashy. Huge plus was the included breakfast (though limited space for breakfast room) - eggs, sausages, cereals, toast, waffles, fruit, yogurt and more.

Affordable

I suppose it depends on which unit you get. Ours was on the first floor at the back of the building and required the lights on during the day. Would recommend avoiding any units on the first floor. The corridor carpets are stained and dirty. The breakfast is OK but the breakfast room is small and not attractive. In our unit, the kitchen garbage had not been taken out and the “patio” door was wide open - not great for a ground floor unit. Web site says late check-in is after 9 am - it’s actually 5 pm which rather challenges the definition of late.

Easy access from highway. Hallways needed vacuumed. Tv did not work. Had to call for help.

Interesting character property. Older property and served our purposes for a quick stay. No complaints, but nothing great either. Thank you

Nice place. Nice big room.

Bathroom was not very clean. Whole place is quite outdated. Beds were comfortable but because bathroom was dirty it made us question cleanliness of the linens.

I was able to come and go as needed.

We walked into the room, turned around, and walked out to find a new hotel. The hotel is poorly cared for and filthy, The carpet is stained, the furniture is dated and the surfaces are only partly clean. Only some of the deck boards are nailed down. Upon leaving at 7 pm, a manager was not available to help. I am trying to get a refund and haven't received a phone call back.

There was someone's dirty clothes under our bed and it was super hot but the screen door was broken with a shared balcony

Great location, across from ocean with nice bike trail and good restaurant two doors down. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good with real scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. The price was good and it was safe. We had bikes on the back of the car and no problems. It has garage parking. The hotel is tired and needs updating but the price was good for what we got and it was packed all three nights.
