This is difficult to review. The people there are very nice. Can't fault them.
The biggest minus for me is that they did not offer breakfast, even though this was advertised by Hotels.com as being on offer. I would never have chosen this hotel if I had known that.
I did have to shift rooms on the first night due to an electrical fault. My room was difficult to get to ... there was a lift, but it did not go to my room.
I suspect I was the only guest.

Initial room dirty but changed by the gentleman. Nice employees

This is an excellent budget friendly option in Aqaba. It's super clean and the staff are lovely. It's got all the basics you need and no luxuries which keeps the price down. You really feel you're seeing a bit of normal Aqaba life with all the local shops and people going about their business.

Good value for money in a good central area. There are only two downsides:- the window is only to the hallway and bathroom;- the air conditioner started to leak during the night.

The room was very spacious and clean and the service was quick and friendly. The hotel itself is a little hard to find even with the help of a city driver, but it is worth it once you get there.

Very local, close to the city and restaurants. Very large room. Rather old though.

I didn't expect too much from a hotel in Aqaba, but this one looked good enough, so I gave it a shot. Let me start with the good things... WiFi was great. The location was easy to find, even though the address shows only the big roundabout, and not that the hotel is on the uppers street. The difference is maybe only 100 m, the problem is you have to find it :-) My room had no city view - just a window to the hall, which you for obvious reason keep with the curtain on. The only source of sunlight is a small window in the bathroom. Furnishing quality is mediocre, to say the least, construction quality - too. The floor tiles are not well mounted so you hear them moving while walking. The bed is OK, the bathroom... not so good. Would I stay there again? For 1 night - maybe yes. For more... I'd rather not. Oh, and that cigarette smell... it's everywhere in Jordan. People still smoke there almost everywhere - in hotel receptions, in cars, in shops the staff is smoking... If this is a problem for you, you'd better choose another country :-)

Location is perfect, restaurants and things to see and do all around you. Hotel very old fashion, our room was very dark, only one small window in the corner, bathroom too small and quite uncomfortable, you must know you have to switch the boiler otherwise have to have hours for a hot shower. Toilet bloked the last day.. more discomfort. Shame. Very friendly staff though.

This hotel is a good budget option, and costs far less than the westernized hotels in Aqaba. There are no real services here. Room was clean and A/C was welcome relief. They missed my wake up call. The hotel said it would be 10JD ($14 US) but the taxi driver they booked for me charged me 15JD. Not the hotel’s fault, but agree on a price with the driver.

The staff were nice and accomodating. Fayez did everything withing his power to make my stay happy. What an amazing person! The place smells like smoke so for those of us allergic to it, not a good idea. Not sure that they have non-smoking rooms. Non-smoking probably means you have a choice. That is all. Overall clean and quiet. Nice people!Dont know how they come up with a 3 star for this place.

We booked this hotel not knowing what we would find. We always look for clean, non smoking rooms & this one fit the bill. Tucked away on a side street but it is in easy walking distance to the beach, nice but inexpensive restaurants, and near souk (market) where we bought spices. It really is in a good location. Very friendly staff.

The hotel was located close to restaurants, shopping, and main streets... You can take a taxi and go to the beach or any other attractions in the area within few minutes... The rooms were clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing we did not like about the hotel is the air conditioning not running while we were out, which left the room pretty hot when we got back and had to wait for it to cool down.

The hotel is conveniently located near Petra main entrance. The rooms and facilities are reasonable as expected from a 3 star hotel. The breakfast and dinner buffet were good. The staff was very polite and helped with onward reservations.

Very nice room for the price. Out of the way location, but taxis are cheap in Jordan. We stayed for one night and it was very comfortable. Would not recommend for more than one or two nights though, unless you're really on a budget in which case no real complaints.

Jardaneh is a nice, budget hotel in Aqaba, a town not really known for low-price accommodations. Another group traveling with me had roaches in their room, and the staff transferred them to another room without question or an extra fee. There wasn't a breakfast, though, or access to the beach. Additionally, the neighborhood surrounding Jardaneh might seem a little "sketchy" for travelers not accustomed to travel in the Middle East...

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. We were 4 people and we chose the family suit (2 bedrooms+living room). PROs: affordable, spacious, clean, friendly staff, close to the center. CONs: noisy in the morning due to the construction work going on across the street (they worked even on Friday morning), no breakfast
