Our villa faced the pool and was within walking distance to the beach as well. Our villa was spotless and spacious. Each villa had their own private outdoor shower. My only issue was the mattress wasn't firm but other than that our villa was fine. The staff were all helpful and friendly. You can hire snorkeling gear, paddle board, read a book or swim in the pool. We hired a car but I think there's a shuttle from the airport that can be arranged with the resort. There are tours available. Hoping to return with our children next time.

Quality resort in a great beach setting. Good separation of the accommodation units. Nice pool and central restaurant area. Free breakfast buffet was great. Good menu options for other meals. All charges went back to room, dont have to worry about paying each time. Rooms serviced daily. Free wifi available when asked for, but could only access in restaurant/pool areas. Well designed and lovely tropical feel to resort. Some of the water equipment from the beach hut was poorly maintained. No TV service avail in roons although room had TV.

Staff and facilities 1st class. Nothing is a problem.

Really nice relaxing resort. Maybe need to upgrade drinks at pool bar and provide some snacks during happy hour. Also the band at dinner shouldn't include children as it's not nice listening to children sing inappropriate lyrics beyond their years. Maybe just stick to nice Samoan songs.

The resort is lovely overall, beautiful gardens maintained by the hardworking, smiling staff, very nice pool area,
Possibly the only slight negatives were the hit and miss food at the restaurant, and not having free wifi everywhere in the hotel and grounds,( pretty much a universal standard in most hotels these days) and having to get vouchers for it everyday,
A lovely place with lovely staff

We stayed in one of the lovely exclusive villa's in the adult only section, which was huge & had a great outdoor shower, the area was so nice & peaceful. The gardens are truely beautiful and very well maintained. The pool & swim up bar was great. Stunning sunset from "The Landing" (with happy hour option).
The owner and staff were all very friendly and attentive. Snorkling around the rocks by the slides is best.
The dinner and show evening (Wednesday nights) was fantastic, the food amazing!!
Breakfast didn't include bacon, cold meats & cheeses, but had a great range and the best chia seed pudding with fresh fruits.
It was very convenient to do the car hire directly from the resort and explored the island, with its beautiful beaches, waterfalls, caves etc.
We had a fantastic stay at this resort and would definitely stay there again next time.

The resort is a perfect option for staying in Samoa. However make sure you get a rental car, and spring for one of the nicer rooms as the Hotel rooms were missing basic things like a small table and chairs and ours was missing the backboard for the main bed.
The free breakfast for all guests is a nice touch, however the scrambled eggs were watery and bland and looked like they had been done in the microwave, and the fruit at times looked unappealing. However there was plenty more like Chia seed puddings which were delish, toast, cereal etc to pick from. And there was Gluten Free toast options. But all other food we ordered was very good!
The facilities at the resort were pretty good, you can hire snorkelling/water sport gear, hire cars for the day, go on tours provided by the resort or make use of the gym, spa or the pool with the swim up bar! The restaurants were nice, the drinks were strong and everything was well priced. Even though the resort was pretty full, we never once felt crowded. The beach it is located on is also very nice.
The owners are great and such lovely people. However, some of the other staff could do with working on their hospitality skills and friendly behaviour while at work. This was minor issue as most staff were lovely.
Overall, we had a pleasant time at the resort, yes there were some issues but these were minor in terms of our experience. There were more positives than negatives. Would stay again!

From the moment we arrived the staff was kind, friendly AND ON POINT. 100% ON TOP OF THEIR GAME. ON IT.

Compared to previous accommodation we had in Samoa the staff were a little more business like except for one stand0ut Karamela. She was a superstar with a happy smile and special treatment and warmth towards guests. She always went above and beyond and engaged most delightfully with us. We recommend her individual praise and a bonus by the management.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the property was well maintained. The Fia Fia night was great. There were a LOT more children there than we expected (not their fault) but absolutely nobody used the children's pool - even small kids were is the main pool, making for a noisy experience. Food was fine but a little on the pricey side for what it was bearing in mind there is no other option without hiring a car, which was expensive.

We loved that it was absolute seafront with fales a metre from the sea. The pool with swim up bar was fabulous and the staff were just gorgeous. Motorscooters were plentiful at the resort and hiring a car for the day was easy.
We had an air conditioned hotel room, which was spacious and had a day bed. There were two restaurants, one had a theme each night, and there was a wonderful bar over the sea that had a 3 hr happy hour each day. Prices were very cheap. There was always a cocktail of the day too.
A van was provided, to take anyone who wished to go to the local Catholic church, where the choir sang like angels. We're not church goers but a church service is a must-do when you're in Samoa, even if you don't understand a word. The pool is cool, clean, and deep at one end, surrounded with sunloungers, and there are 2 six-seater tables nearby.
We can't speak highly enough of this place, it's outstanding.

Gavin, Lou and the team at Saleiga Sands do an exceptional job of ensuring all guests are well taken care of. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful with excellent facilities for accommodation, dining, spa and activities. The guides do a great job of thee tours also. So very highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

Large resort, ideal for families. If we visited again as a couple we would go elsewhere but wouldn't hesitate to come back with our grand kids.
Owner Gavin was very friendly and hands on and should be very proud of what his hard work has achieved.

A well organised family resort in a beautiful setting. The pool is spectacular and it was wonderful to snorkel in the sea around the resort. The only slight disappointment was that our ‘Lagoon View’ bungalow was directly beside a huge paddling pool and children’s play area so we could barely see the view! We also noticed a rat scurrying away from one of the restaurant areas one evening. Otherwise, it was a really enjoyable stay and we appreciated the number of vegetarian options in the main dining room.

We absolutely loved this place and are looking forward to coming back again. The rooms are very clean, the bathrooms are roomy and the outdoor shower is stunning. We had a beach front room and the view was amazing. Has a fan and AC. Tea and coffee making facilities and small fridge. Good snorkeling and swimming beach. Great pool. Good food options as there are two restaurants. Very close to a lot of activities outside of the resort. Can rent a car, scooter or take tours from here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Such a beautiful spot.

We stayed here for 2 nights after staying in fale accommodation. Our basic hotel room at Saletoga felt like luxury! Very clean, modern, spacious and quiet.
Really appreciated having water filter stations everywhere too! Loved being in the ocean - often feeling like we had it all to ourselves while most guests were in and around the main pool. The staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly. Loved happy hour overlooking the beach - cheap cocktails! Very good breakfasts. Amazing massages! The airport transfer to take us to the airport was very efficient. Overall, highly recommend this resort!

SALETOGA Sands is a well organized typical resort with fab owners and staff… but it is not typical of Samoan culture (except from their Fia Fia dancers, who are truly awesome!)…
I suggest experiencing the authentic ‘fale’, eg those at Lulumanu Beach, then relaxing Western-style at SALETOGA (pronounced’Saletonga’).

Was a beautiful place, Nice room, lots to do. But food & drinks expensive for what it is. Breakfast buffet was not good at all & Staff need to watch what they say around guests, especially when we can understand their language - plus they seem to always be in a rush to clear plates, even when you havnt finished.. overall we would still recommend, just prepare to spend that extra money on food & drinks.

My family stayed at Saletoga Sands in June 2024. We wife, young children (ages 5-10) and I all loved our stay. The kids liked the waterslides into the ocean and large pool. The staff were friendly and very helpful when we needed it. The free breakfast in the morning had lots of options. Overall, I would highly recommend this property for families with children.

Overall a good hotel, lovely people and loved the villa by the beach. The hotel is geared up for families. Good activities, and breakfast included.
There isn’t anywhere to walk to and transfers by car expensive. Maybe better go rent. Car, which you can do on site if travelling across the island.
People lovely, lots of staff, but some areas a little confusing.

A great place for a relaxing holiday. The Samoan buffet night with local food was great, The staff were lovely and very friendly. The massgaes we had were brilliant.the excusuin guide was friendy, helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the wait staff in the main restaurant were, as happens in many restaurants nowadays, not trained on the basics, did not know which side to serve meals from, were not trained to be attentive, often did not notice who was ready to order, do not and the floor manager might as well not have been there. Sad as they were a lovely smiling group.. The second smaller restaurant was much better organised, and their staff were better trained. That did not howewver spoil a great relaxing time.
