Two day business trip, Cork was booked up but so glad we found the Fernhill and Clonakilty. Beautiful Hotel with the best breakfast ever shame Clonakilty called for the evening as I’m sure the restaurant would have been lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff, will be back

Our 2 night stay at Fernhill was fabulous. All the staff were super nice and friendly, The room was clean, spacious and we were welcome with a couple of lovely gifts (chocolate and free drink). The garden is well worth a visit, enjoyed seeing the lights, the plants and all the bees. We also had a drink at the bar and ate of an evening, this was very good and so was the breakfast. Probably our nicest stay away ever. Thanks to all who made it happen at Fernhill.

What a beautiful area!!! Lovely hotel and beautiful grounds. Would make an exceptional venue for weddings, it looks magical for that. Staff was friendly upon arrival. Evening service staff in restaurant need more experience, although they were very friendly. Breakfast was very nice and filling with local offerings. Overall a wonderful stay!

We stayed overnight and had dinner in the hotel. Social distancing good and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. Lovely grounds. Room well appointed but ours did not have much light as it looked out to an outside corridor. All in all a good stay

Really enjoyed our two night stay here. The staff were very professional and friendly on difficult Covid circumstances. The breakfast was really nice and freshly made. We did not have dinner at the hotel. Room was clean and plenty of hot water available. Staff adjusted our reservation with minimal fuss at our request.

Visiting family in Clonakilty- such a smart and comfortable hotel of top quality and friendly and helpful staff, lovely food and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Added bonus of a wonderful garden would recommend v v highly

We loved the hotel and gardens in general. However, we were disappointed that the bed we had was so soft, we did not sleep well. We are used to sleeping on a firm bed at home.

Hotel was beautiful and the staff were incredibly helpful. The first room (104) had a noisy AC unit outside which was active until early in the morning. However, once I mentioned it the staff were extremely apologetic and immediately moved me into a very quiet room upstairs. Food is great, hotel and grounds are spacious, elegant and beautiful. Despite the early hiccup, Fernhill House is still highly recommended!

The hotel was a delight from start to finish ,the disabled room (214) was the best I have been in basically his and hers bathrooms ! The staff should get a mention their enthusiasm and happy demeanour meant so much to our stay ,meals were great breakfast white pudding was the best I’ve ever had this is a family owned class hotel where nothing was too much trouble

The view from the hotel was fantastic, the staff where helpful and friendly. My only complaint was the pillows where a bit hard. Food good, lounge wonderful. Receptionist more than helpful on places to visit.
