The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly.
We were thankful for the top floor room, but the view out the window was the opposing wall of the hotel.
It's not a big deal, but it's a strange design of the building.

Even after i specifically requested daily cleaning service the hotel did not do it and when asked they acted like they didn’t care.

This Holiday Inn Express in Eureka was an easy and dependable choice on short notice. It was clean and comfortable. The fitness room was clean and the breakfast / coffee was a nice morning wake up. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo but unfortunately, the conditioner was replaced to hand lotion. No big deal, and probably could have been corrected if we had just asked. The price was expensive for the area especially for the time of the year and for the day of the week. I would have gone for a cheaper option if I had had time to do research about hotels in the area..

I booked with the hotel manager, Ricardo. He gave me a good rate for a handicapped room, however the shower was not accessible

This is a nice and convenient place to stay at while visiting the Redwoods. Property grounds were clean. Breakfast is always appreciated.

Eureka is not a great a place to stay. But the staff and the hotel seem to be doing their best to make the stay nice. The cleanliness was not ideal. Lots of long hairs on the floor and in corners etc.

This was a very nice place to stay in Eureka. We love the Holiday Inn Express brand- especially the free breakfast! It includes a lot of hot food options such as eggs, bacon, sausage, & biscuits and gravy. The hotel is very clean and very bright. Rooms are clean and spacious. I only wish the beds were more comfortable. Very thin mattresses and we could feel the springs.

Everything was as you would expect at a Holiday Inn Express, but the price was outrageous for what we got. Not sure if the high price was because we were staying the evening of July 4th or just because it is a coastal town, but it was certainly not worth the premium paid.

The entire stay was great. Easy breezy check in and check out. Daily continental breakfast served, wished there was a different option daily instead of having jus sausage daily. Pancake was surprisingly good. Don't miss their cinnamon bun.
The hotel was located in a much more quiet area than downtown. It felt safe. Costco is just a few steps away.
Rooms were clean but I just felt a distinct smell in the bathroom but manageable

Everything was so expensive- grab and go breakfast was $30. The two bed rooms had beds that were double size vs queen and not comfortable. Lots of flight attendants checking in, so long line/lack of attention at check in desk. Close to airport but far from everything else.
