Long wait for a checkin as the girl was in the bar ! With a 6.00am checkout and no breakfast service till 8.00am, I was ASSURED that a breakfast would be delivered to my room by 9.00pm the night prior. This breakfast never arrived. The night prior I purchased a drink in the restaurant and asked for a seafood chowder for my dinner. I was told that this was not possible as there was only a set 2 course fixed menu. I didn’t want 2 courses so from mid day 16th to arriving on my flight at 9.00 the 17th I had nothing to eat at all, very unsatisfactory !!!

It was a good stay, the Tuesday night cultural show was awesome.

Within walking distance of the airport which was great when we landed at 3am! Easy check in and friendly helpful staff.

The beds are fantastic, linen and pillows are all really nice quality. Rooms are pleasant, showers have good pressure and lots of hot water. Unfortunately there are windows with no shades or curtains on the hallway side of the room which means that the rooms are unable to be made dark as the hallway lights are on all night. The pool is great but not a nice place to be with all the people dining around and no places to sit after being in the pool.

The best place to stay at! I had the room all the way at the end away from all the dining and bar area! It was perfect place and their food was absolutely filling. Loved how I dined and walk to my room and straight to sleep. Staff was amazing helped me to get to the airport with my partner and 7month old baby even when I was injured. Please book with them !

The restaurant staff very slack mixed our meal order next day took hour and a half to be served. We had two rooms and honestly they smelt like cat piss. Then saw a number of cats roaming around on the property. I won’t be using this facility again nor would I be encouraging my contacts and family to stay here. Terrible

When we checked in, the air conditioner broke down and started leaking. The administrator refused to move us to another room. I wanted to relax, but I couldn't really rest because the repairmen were coming and fixing it. I was very unhappy with this situation. The windows do not open, and there is no balcony. These apartments are not worth the money.

5 minute walk from the airport. Friendly staff, easy check-in, clean room.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The only issue is that the door to room corridor is consistently banged shut at night with people coming and going. Needs a soft door closure. Food was ok, got the lobster, but was disappointed at the size of it, it says 500g of lobster, but this was a baby, probably only 150g. Not worth the high price. Other than that staff are attentive, food tasted great, breakfast was delicious.

Everyone stays here because it's opposite the airport for your early flight out. Don't do it ! No staff at reception, just the restaurant staff who had enough to do running their own business. Finally got into the room, had dinner out. Came back and slept to very very loud doof doof music from the party bar. Finally slept. Woke to our alarms at 5.30 to discover a complete lack of electricity and no running water. Great way to prepare for an international flight. Found out later that the power outage was planned and they just didn't bother to tell us. Never ever again. Plenty of lovely places to stay on raro !

We flew back from Aitutaki & only had one night here before flying to Australia the next morning. This is the perfect property for this, as it's across the road from the airport. The room was large, very clean & comfortable. The property has a good bar & restaurant. The bar is probably the most reasonably priced on Raro. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here as we needed somewhere reasonably priced and near the airport to sleep for one night before flying to Tahiti. Our room was reasonably large but not well-cleaned and the shower had the worst flow I’ve seen in a while. The staff were largely very friendly and the breakfast was pretty good and we had a nice view from the deck. The main problem for us was the blaring music from the bar which went on till midnight and was directly outside our window (a window that was broken so didn’t close fully). Not ideal at all!

Location to airport was great - food was also very good. Unfortunately a couple of rooms were taken by a family that had major issues. The mother was sweating profusely at her daughter and then on the ph I think to the young man that got her daughter pregnant. This went on and off for about an hr. Although I've never been to a half way house - I image this would be similar.
