Was pleasantly surprised when we checked into our room. The area is a little rough but the room was well-stocked, clean, and comfortable. We had a family suite (family of 6) and really liked that the rooms were separated by a closed door (grown up privacy). Also, the rooms all had blackout curtains as well as a blackout screen on the windows (amazing idea since it was over 100 degrees and in direct sun). Our room was cool, dark and relaxing. Check in was slightly confusing as it is 2 hotels in one building but staff was helpful. Good location, near freeway and Mc D’s in the same parking lot. The area was a little sketch but one of our vehicles had jet skis and a lot of our camping equipment in the bed of the truck. I was a little worried about our things getting messed with but was pleased to see our trailer and items untouched the next morning. Breakfast was a great variety (waffles, eggs, sausage, etc.) and good quality. Overall, super pleased and will absolutely be back.

Everything was great!

We don't really remember much about our stay as we arrived after a 12 hr drive so we were VERY tired and just went to bed.

We stayed here twice - once as a stopping point in our way to our final destination, and once in the way back. First of all, the building is actually two hotels in one. So weird! When we checked in the staff asked which hotel we were booked at and switched to a different desk and computer. Each side of the building has different colored doors to designate which hotel you are at. Our first check-in I realized I had forgotten my ID at home. The clerk was helpful in making sure we could still get checked in. The second stay we were basically told without my ID we couldn’t be checked in. The staff was rude and not looking to help us. We eventually convinced her that with my husband’s ID and proof of our prior stay that we could check in. We happened to get the same room both times. The room was “cleanish”. The sink was pretty gross and there was hair in the bathroom. The toilet looked like it was not really scrubbed. The first stay there was no lotion in the large bottle attached to the mirror. Four days later there was still no lotion in it. The breakfast wasn’t terrible but there were limited options. There was also a staff member sitting in the corner on her phone the whole time we ate. I don’t know if she was on a break or if she was on duty to monitor the room but it was uncomfortable feeling like we were being watched the whole time. I knew going into this trip that we’d get what we pay for but I would definitely try a different option next time.

No hot water

Room was well lit and the love seat was good. Staff were friendly. We walked down to the Route 66 area and saw a nice mural and the trains coming through. Breakfast room was clean and nice selection of items.

Clean and tidy. Nice breakfast room. Add another blanket for cold night.

Lots of staff and all very friendly

The property was hard to find. There was no hot water evening or morning. Staff said that “too many people were using it.”. Really? Both at 6:00 PM and 8:00 AM - hard believe.

Every thing was great.

Had difficulty finding the ice. Could have had a paper listing of tv channels.

I’ve stays at this hotel anytime I’m in Needles. The staff is always amazing, very friendly and helpful. It’s an older property but it’s in good condition.

This room was very nice- plenty of outlets to charge our devices and good lighting. The room was cool when we arrived while it was 118 outside. Everything is in working order.

Great hotel

Everything was clean and staff were exceptionally friendly. Breakfast was a little slow for restocking items otherwise a pleasant stay.

Nice place

I'm very happy with this motel. Needles is a small town of around 5000 residents. Towns of this size tend to have friendly people and the Quality Inn staff reflected that. The restaurants in the area were limited but adequate. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It is well maintained and kept clean. The free breakfast was excellent! Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, and so much to choose from. Watch out for gas prices in Needles at $6.69 per gallon - ouch! Better to fill up in Arizona which is just a few miles away. Half that price.

Surrounded by rocky empty lots - made walking dog difficult. Limited restaurant choices.

Run down , bad area, gas stations closed, felt unsafe.

This hotel is right off the I40, so it is convenient. Clean room and good bed. It's older so you will hear people walking above you. Nice buffet breakfast, the food was hot and the coffee was strong and hot. I will stay again.

This is tue second time staying at this hotel and its great for a couple nights stay for the lake/river trip. The breakfast in the morning makes for a quick morning prep to get on the water as soon as possible.

The carpet and bathroom were very dirty.

Need to update bathroom, but really liked our stay

The staff was very good and friendly. The bed was great the bathroom needs to be updated and the towels are worn.

A decent place to escape the heat of summer. The A/C was much needed. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Easy check-in and check-out.

Website said pet friendly. We mentioned our pet when we booked, but upon arrival, there were no pet friendly rooms available. They wanted to charge us $250, twice the room fee, for having a tiny 6 week old puppy in a crate. We left and went to another town. We did get a refund.
