Everyone from the host upon checking in, to the housekeeping staff, to the breakfast staff was absolutely kind, patient, helpful, and AWESOME!!!!

Excellent price. Large room with high ceilings. Good price/value proposition. Spartan furnishings. Overly scented. We’d stay there again.

Multiple good experiences. Brought our 11 year old for a Christian show at Vanandel. 8 minute safe walk and walkable restaraunt options. Attached Parking structure. Safe but expensive parking.

Location was great! Easy walk for concert. Bed was super comfortable! Would’ve loved a discount on parking though as that was pricey.

The elevator was down on our arrival around 4pm and didn't come up until the next day. My girlfriend has an injury and was put on the 4th floor (she prob should have asked for a lower but we were promised it would be fixed by our return that evening). The doorman was great and carried our bags up but that was a lot for the hotel to ask of him. Shower tile was a little old and chipped which made it not feel clean although i think it was sanitized. Overall property was good.

Boutique hotel in a great location for downtown events and dining. Pros: Updated room, comfortable bedding, street view, awesome location to easily walk around town, very friendly staff! Cons: No mini fridge in room, hotel lounge is closed Sun & Mon, they do not validate or discount parking- options are street meter parking or parking ramp with walkway to hotel is $45 for 1 night. Overall would definitely stay here again for the convenient location and nice staff!

Great location, but for the price you can find better in downtown Grand Rapids. You’re paying for location, and not much else.

Broken elevator (i was on 5th fl), room key didn't work, mold and dirty toilet, dust, hair, unsightly, scaffolding and wood in my outside view on the roof in the first room. I was in then I moved to a second room, and there was mold, dust, silverfish bugs, shades that fell down, shelf in showers in both rooms was loose, pillows were too high, dirty floors in the rooms, dirty floors in the hall. I can go on and on. This was the worst experience ever. I was there on business. I lost sleep and it made for a difficult few days. Although the staff did their best to accommodate and a one day refund issued, I will never come back to your hotel. It's not about the money. I do business with Grand Rapids airport and I will recommend they do not refer clients to your hotel. I recommend you stay a night in your hotel rooms to get a feel of how much improvement they need.

For the $ charged the value is not good. The hotel does not provide housekeeping unless specifically requested. Room was small. Several areas were not fully clean. Elevator did not work 1 day of my stay. Overall very nice location but poor value for the cost

It's a very nice hotel. The reason I give 4 stars was on the description it said "city view". The "city view" basically was brickwalls three way around. It's ok just to be honest and say "no views". Other than this, it was a good experience. The two double beds were not situated side by side like most of the hotels would do and were comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay.

Room 404 and our view was of a brick wall all around us. The parking structure on Ionia charged us $48 when we arriver at 4pm Friday and left at 11am Sat. Their sign just states $24/24hrs but they said there cut off time is 0400 but 2 days for 19hrs??

Our room didn't have a refrigerator. I was able to text the desk & the gentleman brought up within a few minutes. The man working at the front desk is the same that brought the refrigerator & he was the only employee we saw during out stay. He was very kind and helpful.

They don't vaildate parking so plan on extra cash parking was 66$ for the 2 night stay. The shwet water needs to be warmer it was only luke warm.

They need their own parking ramp. Finding out one day before arrival that if I park in the nearest ramp I’ll be charged double at 4 am the next day was a great surprise and having to park overnight at the meters otherwise was awful as well. Can hear everything through the very thin windows, every noise outside. Definitely not a place to go if you want easy parking or a nice quiet night.

We had a good stay, the room was ok but the staff was great! Walkable to main downtown Grand Rapids

No refrigerator , had to ask for towels - would ask when we left for our event between 7:15am-7:45am would get back around 6pm, would have to ask again. bathroom was ok, bed linen had stain.

Great location in the hart of the city. Everything is walking distance. Clean, cozy loft style room with great design. Stuff is friendly.

Amzing hotel the bar was cute and the staff was friendly. very clean room. the only thing I didn't love was the bathroom door. I also will note that there isn't a mini fridge but that wasn't the end of the world. the room was set up very chic and the bed was incredibly comfortable I wanted to take a pillow home. Thank you City Flats Hotel!

Not your standard hotel, you pretty much have to ask the employees for things others have in public areas. (Ice, microwave). Nice location but the street can get noisy.

Very good, walked to the concert was great only a couple minutes.

We went to see a show at the arena, that was within walking distance. Really enjoyed our stay.

Rooms were just ok cramped and didn’t offer us the option for a rollaway bed which we had asked the hotel specifically which room to book for the roll away option and the lady said clearly the wrong thing, next the guy who checked us in was very rude and short with us. as well as looking very tired and depressed. We got a beautiful view of a brick wall and the smell of rotting fish when you open up the window. Overall the room was adequate and up to date for the most part and room was clean to our standards. Main areas of improvement would be improving staff morale followed by parking and room accommodation. (As when we state they didn’t look full so they could have offered us a different room for the rollaway).

This property is VERY inflexible. I booked through Expedia, which I always do. Stevie Nicks concert was canceled and the hotel would not rebook my room for the new date without charging me the full fee for one night. So instead of forfeiting $331, I had to stay there without going to the concert. The Expedia agent, and the Expedia Supervisor both tried to get an exception and this hotel would not grant the request. They both spoke to the GM and he denied the request. Expedia has never failed me in moving hotel dates before and they stated that this hotel will not make exceptions. Beware in booking stays here if you are attending a concert! I will never stay here again. The staff was pleasant, the room was clean and it was a nice stay.

I loved the location for doing anything downtown Grand Rapids. The room was big and clean.

For the price of the rooms, I was disappointed that there was no breakfast

The mid century vibe. Beautiful art work in the lobby. The bar/cafe area during happy hour. Friendly check in.

The only thing I would really complain about with this hotel is that there was yellow spots all over the comforter. The floors were sticky as well like our room had not been cleaning at all just restocked and they had thrown us in there.
