Updated , for the price it was good . Bed was comfortable, ac worked great and fridge worked perfectly.

It was ok just couldn't understand the guy who check me in.

It’s a great place to stop and get some rest. The room feels like a modest master suite and the owner is very earnest and hospitable.

It was clean and well kept.

For a budget 2 star hotel, the room was surprisingly updated and comfortable. No road noise, everything worked well. My purpose was just a place to stay for the night, shower & bed. Room had nice tile, modern furniture, micro, fridge, coffee and Dish TV. Bed was comfortable & A/C was cold. I brought to manager's attention a small bit of mold in some of the shower grout. Very minor and he said he would have it fixed. I'd stay here again under the same conditions.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean but could have used a table and chair in it. The Bed was very comfortable.

Atul and his wife were very accommodating to us on our business trip. The room was comfortable and clean. Fridge, coffee machine, and microwave in the room. Cal King bed was very comfortable. We would stay here again.

Mom and Pop place. Friendly Staff, Easy Check -In. Rooms were clean and up graded. On the edge of town, but couldn't beat the cost.

Long time to check in, Dirty, no hot water

My stay at Budget Inn was a very pleasant one. Good location, clean surroundings. The room was equipped with all the things l needed example, soap, shampoo, coffee machine. The beds were very comfortable and clean. Overall I have a very relaxing stay. Will definitely be staying there on my next visit.

Very reasonable rates. On the other hand, the minute I opened the door, the odor in the room was horrible. Smelled of a musty or moldy odor. Purchased an air freshener and placed it on the air conditioner fan to get through the 2 day stay. Would not stay here again. Far from the 8.6 rating given.

It’s a low end motel but it’s very clean and well maintained. No frills, just somewhere comfortable to get a good night’s sleep.

The room was nice and updated but unfortunately not clean. The sheets had hairs and stains, the floor lots of dirt and grime all over. I cleaned the shower floor myself so I could shower. The bathroom mirror was very dirty with toothpaste. It isn’t awful and the friendliness of the people in the office really makes a difference, seems to be family owned. If they kept it a bit more clean, they would have a much better rating.

This is an older hotel but the rooms are clean and the manager friendly. We have been going to this hotel for about 5 years.

Room was remodeled…great but there was an odor of sorts.

Our room was nice. Comfortable bed. Shower had great water pressure and had hot water.

We need a place to sleep before traveling to the next Spring Training site. Perfect

The room was nice and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and even called me up soon after I had left because they thought I had left something behind in the room.

Property was clean and in good condition. Nothing extravagant but very nice for the short stay. Not much dining available close by. Busy road near motel didn't bother us. Price was not too bad for the area and time of the year.

Great better than expected.

The motel was a small older one. It was very clean, tiled floors and walls. Beds where clean, towels, TP, soap and shampoo where filled, tv was good. Frigde, miro wave and coffee in room The place was very quite even though it was full. Located in a neigborhood just south of US 60, Publics and resterants and shopping within 1,2 mile. Could not have ask for more for the price.

I normally stay at mid level hotels with the major brands so I was a bit concerned about trying something different. We stayed two nights and found that,for an old style motel, the room was a pleasant surprise. It was spacious, clean and had been renovated better than I expected. The beds were comfortable. For the price it was hard to beat. On the other hand, we did have some noticeable road noise in morning from Route 60, which is only a few hundred yards away, and another guest's annoying diesel truck outside our room that woke us promptly each day at 6:30. The location is in an older residential neighborhood so there aren't many services immediately available. If you're okay with a vintage motel style property and need to stay in Lake Wales it is a good value option.

This place ain’t the Four Seasons, but it has become my regular spot when visiting Central Florida. The Innkeeper, Mr. Patel, is kind and the rooms are always clean. I have a lot of gear to unload each night and load back in my vehicle each morning, so it’s nice being able to get a 1st floor room and back my vehicle right up to the door to my room. I’ll continue visiting Budget Inn on my trips to the Lakeland area.

Old building, Need renovations

Atul the manager was excellent and very helpful and accommodating. A no frills hotel with a clean room, comfy bed. I knew it was a no frills establishment with a microwave and fridge so I brought something for breakfast and nuked it. very cost effective.
