Ok overall beside pretty bad sound proofing

The property was very clean. The pool was nice but smelt like fresh paint. My swim trunks smlled like paint even. Room was spacious. Walls are thin. Had knocking and slamming on the walls beside us. Stayed here for the weekend for F1. 50 min from the island. For the price compared to other hotels in montreal ......it was a steal.

We stayed in Bonsoir for a competition of children. The whole family enjoyed the stay. Convenient to get to the main area of Granby, and the playground is very nice. Will come back in summer.

Got what I payed for

If you are looking for affordable and great value for money. This is it. Owners are great and helpful. Location is around 1 hour from airport. Close to walmart, tim horton and other food places. No complains. I will come back to this place if im back in Montreal.

It was a great stay. I found everything neat and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The check in process was quick. I would love to stay there again.

I enjoyed the charm of this property. There is plenty of space in and around the rooms. My room was warm and comfortable. The staff are pleasant to talk to, and made me feel welcomed. My favorite part of the room were the wooden ceilings.

We booked the "romantic room". Many deficiencies: no curtains to cover window, just sheers. No plastic or proper shower curtain, just a decorative one with holes... the floor was completely wet. No bathroom fan. Corroded hair dryer plug. Found hair on bathroom floor and in between bed sheets. Many light bulbs burnt out or light switches not working. Security chain on door incorrectly installed. Other door with no security chain. Towels were very old and rough and small. Decor from 1980's with old car cassette tape deck near bed. Mirrors covering half of room. Only good thing, mini fridge worked. Did not even try hot tub in room.

Motel Bonsoir provided us with an excellent stay and experience. While it isn't a fancy all inclusive resort, it knows this, and commits to providing a cozy stay that you'll never forget. You'll feel like you're going back in time here, with great 80s decor and a cedar walls that provide a nostalgic aroma. Staff were excellent and provided a warm welcome. Can't wait to come back in the summer and lounge by their wonderful pool. Don't overlook Motel Bonsoir!

the check in procedure was not comfortable. My credit card was copied manually as was all the data on my license. I was not allowed to fill in the check in card.

The staff were friendly but having paid Expedia $25 for an extra (5th person) in the room I then had to pay $25 tax on arrival for the extra bed. The extra bed had clean bedding but was twisted such that it rocked when my son was in it. The property was nicely lit with picnic benches available but the room, although clean, was tired with the bathroom door sticking such that users couldn’t get out without help and we were unable to lock the door to the room from the outside and struggled to open it from the inside.

Great, clean motel with comfortable beds and amazing people working at reception. Close to everything and confortable. Would stay again

The room was not clean, bathroom was real dirty, condom under the bed, floors were dirty hair everywhere, it was very noisy party in room beside mine until 4 am, banging on the wall, not enough blankets, we froze all night as we had to keep the fan (air conditioning) on to block the noise from the room beside ours to tey to get some sleep... didn't work. It was the worst experience i ever had. Will never go there again and will not be recommending that motel to anyone I know. Can't believe i paid over $200 for this

A little bit noicy but in overall was nice!

It is an old cottage motel so very dated but it was a good place to rest for a night. It has TV, internet, small fridge and microwave so possible to stay a few days with kids in summer. They loved the pool. Given it is a cottage motel it isn’t a surprise to see mini ants in the room but aside from that the beds were comfortable with clean linens.

Far away from the main city Montreal.

The Motel shows its age unfortunately! The owner and staff extremely friendly and accommodating. The room we booked was the "Comfort suite", this was described as a large room with hardwood flooring and jetted tub. The small room #25 was clean despite the thorn window shade, courtyard door that was left partially opened. A good shoulder nudge was needed to securely close it. Air condition was off and heat turned on to 24C when the outside temperature was 28C with a humidex of 32. It took the very noisy overhead air conditioner the whole night to cool the room to 21C (set at 20c). Also the location of the air conditioner over the entrance doors ensured you had a nice little pool of water to walk over. The bathroom was clean but so tiny that they actually carved a notch out of the counter to fit the toiled loosely on the floor so your back was resting nicely on the counter ledge. Others in our party booked the standard /less costly rooms # 2 and 3 and they had larger bathrooms (no carved out counter!) and a properly functioning air conditioner. But no hardwood floor they had a more recent floating floor. So my suggestion do not opt for the more expensive "Comfort suite". The website pictures are from a much earlier time and show the property at its best. This is family run Motel that is friendly and helpful. It is in need of some TLC. **The optional American breakfast for 6$/person was homemade and quite good (fresh egg, choice of meat, fruit, cheese, toast and beverage).**

There are bugs and AC is not working properly, we’re so tired and slept soaked in our sweats. very uncomfortable 😣

I found the room very nice particularly the bed and the wood clad ceiling. The room was nice and tidy with a fridge and microwave included. Chairs were also outside the room to use. Breakfast could be ordered on check in for the next morning which I found convenient and it was good too. Thank you. The negative was the flourescent bulb in the bathroom was not working and this is a quick exchange to fix. Also, as a suggestion, please purchase a higher grade of soap in the individual packages as it does not lather very well.

It was just ok, furniture was not very clean. There was some issue in one of the bed which we couldn't tell the owner cz we reached there late. She was good she waited for us about 10 minutes for their closure time.

Our first night was very quiet. I think only 2 or 3 patrons where there. We had 2 lights in the room that did not work. We where happy to find a microwave and fridge in the room. On our second night the room next to ours was occupied and the man in it was up most of the night. He was not loud but every time he walked around we could here it echoing in our room even over a white noise generator we had running in our room. The sound proofing between the rooms is very poor and the floors are hollow and noisy. With the motel being so empty I could not understand why guests where put adjacent to each other. I would not stay there again.
