This property was a bit rough around the edges. It was aging. It was clean. AC was cold. It is a 5 minute drive to Granby Zoo and there are many dining and shopping options within walking distance. The pool area is large. Some downfalls were no gym and no hot food (eggs, bacon, sausage) at the free breakfast.

This is a great option if you are staying in granby. The rooms are large, and the breakfast was good. The bathroom was clean too. I would stay here again.

It's an ok hôtel. Beds are comfortable, the pillows are flat and cheap. The AC and air quality is poor.We couldn't open the patio door as the screen had holes in it. Good service, nice employees, decent but not great breakfast. Great location, close to lots or restaurants and or course the zoo. Nice enough pool deck and clean pool.

Even though you are not supposed to smoke in your room or on your balcony , everyone seemed to be doing it. The whole building reaked of cigarettes. The rooms had decent interior and fresh paint but the halls and exterior lack in cleanliness. Good location for restaurants and felt safe.

We stayed one night at Hotel Principale in July and I was really disappointed when I walked in the room. For 190$, I was expecting more than a damp, smelly basement room. I’m sure those staying upstairs had a nicer experience than we did, but the price should have been adjusted accordingly. The bath seemed clean but it was so worn out that it took us sometime to convince my little niece to get in. If I were to stay there again, I would definitely ask for a room upstairs.

Like: The staff are amazing and the room is clean. The only thing that we did not like was The Chinese Restaurant in the hotel they serve the food that that is not fresh like the chicken and the beef which cause some of us got sick and so pricy...

The staff was decent. Good at their job, but didn't feel the need to go above the expected. Never once was asked if I need anything or told to ask if we needed anything to make our stay more comfortable. The bathroom was disgusting. Mouldy shower. The faucet was not properly attached to the shower wall and could spin around. Chips and stains in the tub. Soap scum in the tub. When looking for children's toys; we found that under the couch and bed seemed to be lacking attention too. -The room only had one dim light. Fine for the when you could open the curtains, but you couldn't find anything in the evenings. -The room came with a clock and lamp, but if you wanted to use them you had to unplug the tv to use the wall outlet. I think there was only two wall outlets in the room. One for the microwave and fridge. Second for what you wanted. -The bed came with two flat pillows. When asked for another we were given a pillow without a case covering. Honestly couldn't believe I paid over $350 for two nights at this hotel. I will not be returning.

When we arrived our door was not properly closed. Notived others thst were unoccupied are like this aswell. Old, run down and has a smell in hallways downstairs. Pool area was nice and the breakast was average.

My kids loved to swim in the swimming pool

the rooms were clean and the pool was cool on those hot days . The breakfast had lots of choices and variety

Visiting Montreal. Hotels in Montreal on the weekend I visited were way too expensive. This hotel, approximately 60 mins from Montreal was worth the drive. Nice staff, friendly service, and welcoming. Few good restaurants walking distance from hotel.

Front desk staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Our group was on bicycles and they allowed us to store them in an empty room downstairs. Also included a lovely continental breakfast. The hotel was in walking distance to an excellent Indian restaurant and a sports bar so we could watch the Stanley Cup semis! All in all an excellent stay. Thanks!

got to the room and it smelt terrible. Not cleanly whatsoever, we even found feces in the toilet. we payed the stay and left.

Very nice staff but rooms and hotel are a little run down. The toilet in the first room we got did not work so we were moved to the room next door after the first night. First room: smelled like cigarettes, uncomfortable beds (old mattresses). Second room: much better! Breakfast was very basic, no eggs and bacon or other fancy stuff but it still did the job for me and my two kids traveling with me.

Actually, this hotel is two star, not three or four star hotel. It's motel, not a hotel. The room with two queen beds were very small and not suitable for families with children. The sink was next to the room door.The breakfast dishes were disposable and of poor quality. I do not recommend this hotel.
