Our standard room was a little small but had a very comfy bed and a nice bathroom. We also didn’t like the curtains as none closed properly. The staff were excellent: they spoke good English, and were very helpful. The included breakfasts were varied and tasty with great coffee. We didn’t use the pool as the sea was just 50m away! The hotel was also very close to many beach side restaurants. Overall we had a lovely two night stay and we were very grateful for the late checkout we were given.

Toilet kept blocking. Was told to put used toilet paper in rubbish bin. Wi Fi out for days. Nice pool reasonable breakfast.

Unfortunately late into the night we realised there was bed bugs. We went to reception just before midnight and advised about the bed bugs. The hotel dealt with the situation the best they could and booked us into another hotel close by for the night. They dropped us to the other hotel at around midnight. They also paid for half of our transfer back to Phnom Penh the next day which we did appreciate. It was an unfortunate situation which makes it hard to give it any other review however the hotel handled it the best they could I guess.

Lovely spot just across from the beach, with clean comfortable rooms, nice pool, and amazingly generous breakfasts. Staff is very friendly and helpful also.

It was a great little oasis in Otres Beach. The pool was amazing, food was great and we could have stayed longer. And the staff were very helpful. We loved it!

Far away from nice bars. Hotel oke, but staff isn't friendly at all and gives wrong information about bus trips. Don't book your bustickets ( at chapa company) at the hotel! Hotel does't gives you any information about the hotel and surroundings. When you come back at the hotel after 11 o'clock, there is nobody anymore... If you have a choice... Go to otres 2!

I was enjoy staying here. I love the atmosphere, the food and services.Natalia was very nice. Hope to see you again. I also love the beach. The most quite beach compare with others. But there is 1 problem. they have to repair bathroom. No hot water.but its okay for me. Overall i really enjoy my holiday here and will come again.

It wasn't great, oasis in the middle of chaos ;) very comfortable rooms, the restaurant better than many places at the beach, chill out atmosphere and very helpful lady at the reception. Cheap as well,(especially if you book directly with them)

Resort is fab and best in the area but the road outside across to the beach is dirty and full of rubbish.

Wifi cut in and out, overall the room was not very clean. The staff were very kind, but the experience was not the best.

Beach Otres 1 is not a place for a rave or party. However if you like a nice meal and drink with time either by the sea or pool this is an ideal hotel to stay in. Centrally located in Otres 1 and the rooms are centred around the pool. Staff are helpful, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast has a good choice and the evening meals that are available are reasonably priced and of good value. The only reason I have marked down the room cleanliness and comfort is that there was no internal seating - not that there was room for it as the room has a very large bed, and that I noticed some of the bed clothes and towels are starting to show their age. The actual cleanliness of the room was good.

Swiming pool with temp around 35 deg C was not really nice :-(

Air conditioning did not work until 8pm - that is when the hotel would fire up a backup generator - the area does not have enough electricity to service

Great little place 30 seconds from the beach. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The only issue was that the pool was quite over-chlorinated. Luckily I spent most of my time in the ocean.

There is a nice and decently sized pool as well as a restaurant in the premises with ok food.We stayed in a room with double bed towards the back. We didn't mind it since it seemed to be more quiet and more private than around the pool area (although this time of year is considered low season and the hotel was not packed at all). The room was basic: flat screen TV, good working A/C and daily cleaning. The free breakfast was also very reasonable for the rate we payed.The only downside are the smelly bathrooms in the rooms. If you're not too sensitive to smells you should be fine. Additionally, the staff is friendly & helpful, however they could be more attentive at times. But let's face it, you're in Cambodia and more specifically Otres, things move slow. A little patience will go a long way.
