Excellent small hotel with beautiful pool areas (including one for adults only, very nice). A bit far out of town but certainly walkable, and the big upside to being out of the fray is being nestled in a quiet area. Views of the Matterhorn are amazing; staff is wonderful. Would stay there again!

Hotel Berghof is exceptional - a uniquely charming family-owned boutique hotel. Great location and spectacular views with kind and attentive hosts. Will absolutely stay here again for our next visit to Zermatt.

We had a great stay in the family room, with ample space! Breakfast was fabulous and views of the Matterhorn were amazing! Next door to the Gondola to take you all the way to Glacier Paradise!

My new favourite hotel I have EVER stayed at. Our room had a balcony that looked directly at the Matterhorn. The room was amazing and the pool area... I could go on and on. The property is simply stunning and has so much charm. We will definitely be back.

I forgot my bag in the golf cart that dropped us to the train station and left the town ( from hotel to train station is 10 min ride). When I realized about it and called the hotel, the staff was willing to meet me at the station with my bag to save my time. This is outstanding service along with the check in, bar and hotel staff.

Beautiful boutique hotel steps from Matterhorn Paradise Gondola. Wide and big swimming pool with lights, cabanas, lounges and sofas around the pool. Another area like a solarium where you can relax with views of Matterhorn. Convenient breakfast. Cozy bedrooms. Ski lockers downstairs with boot’s heaters.

A lovely hotel in a great location. Awesome breakfast and facilities including a spa. The male manager is a bit grumpy, he needs a hug or two probably. Warmly recommended.

This is the perfect place to stay in Zermatt. The views of the Matterhorn are perfect. You can walk to town, but the hotel itself is quiet. Every part of the hotel has been designed thoughtfully and is adorable. I would go back in a heartbeat.

High standard hotel very close to the cabin. For some reason I did not appreciate the attitude of the staff possibly because I had stayed at another hotel the week before where staff were amazing. Plus had stayed at berghof many years years ago and had high expectations

We loved this cosy little hotel! The room was warm and welcoming with a sitting area and balcony with a great view of the Matterhorn. The staff was very friendly and the pools and steam rooms were an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Awesome hotel. Staff super friendly and always knew who we were. They even prepared a special meal at our request though it was not on the menu. Views are spectacular.

Nice Hotel...Bathroom tube didn't function. Public Spa was not heated as well. Really loved the location and decor but many of the amenities were not functioning. At this level would have expected a little more personal attention to make sure all was well.

Our stay at the Hotel Bergoff was absolutely wonderful!! The location is amazing, with a view of the Matterhorn right out back. The staff was friendly and helpful!! Breakfast was delicious. The room was lovely and immaculate. A traditional Alpine Hotel. We would definitely recommend staying here!!

The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful, and the free breakfast was delicious. The sauna and indoor pools were very clean and relaxing. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we really enjoyed sitting on our balcony.

My girlfriend and I visited Zermat after trekking the Tour du Mont Blanc so we were ready for some R&R. The Barghof was quite lovely. Our room was spacious and opened onto the back garden. We spent one of our evenings drinking wine on our patio watching the sunset on the Matterhorn!
